Not a great experience. Save yourself the trouble and go to Michael’s. Ordered from them and didn’t receive part of it. They canceled another part and then had to ship multiple packages. The app order history is busted and the website simply doesn’t have it, so I couldn’t even get support without emailing them from their contact us page. Plus the ad spam on the app and website seriously takes me out.

Yes, I realize it is Christmas time. I realize this store is severely under staffed. It's gotten worse with the holiday rush.
It would be nice if the store could get it together for in store pickup. Two days ago I was told, "do not stand in long lines for pickup. Simply go to register closest to door and let them know you have pickup. No need to wait. One of the perks for ordering online." Awesome!!
Today I go in and do that, and Markus makes a face and tells me to get in line as he's jestering very rudely. Then he tells me I have to wait like everyone!
I just left and called back to see what the policy was on picking up in store. Markus answered and said, you have to get in line like everyone else. He's never heard you could go to front line. With his attitude, I told him to cancel my order in which he had plenty of time to do right there and then. How do I know, I got the email telling me it was canceled.
Kind of makes my point that they do not know what is going on. Guess it's better to cancel then help a customer. I shop this store 2-5 times a week. It's convenient for me but after this, I will go else where (another company altogether) even if I have to drive farther. Thank you Markus for always being rude in store and on the phone. Lost a great customer.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience with Susanne, she was really rude from the beginning and also slammed her scanner on the counter when I tried to get clarification on an item. I called spoke with the person in charge and he was very helpful and he was going to address the issue. Been going for years and had no problem until today.

Joann's overall has been a circus. They dumped their freight crew and don't give employees enough hours especially to unload the trucks and manage the piles of boxes incoming. It's not the stores, it's corporate.

This location has very friendly staff and a great selection of fabrics - stuff that is not found at 132nd and center. Also, there is usually less waiting here for cutting counter and checking out. My experiences here have been excellent and I prefer it to the west store.

I am thoroughly disappointed in JoAnns and I have been a regular shopper. I was in need of some silicone beads for a project and this location said they had many in stock. First the store was a disaster and so messy, like no one has straightened in a week, nothing was stocked and all in totes, secondly my mom and I went searching up and down the bead aisle with no luck, THIRDLY we ask one of two associates for help and she walks us over to a flatbed cart with totes of stock on them and says they’re probably in here and walks away, doesn’t even bother helping to look. I have never been so upset and disappointed in a store, not sure I will be coming back for anything after this.

Every time I'm at JoAnn Fabrics in Bellevue, it's always an enjoyable shopping experience. This 5 star rating is for Sophia. My experience at Joanns was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by a young lady named Sophia. Her customer service skills were off the charts!! She was attentive and knowledgeable, and comes across as genuinely wanting you to have the best shopping experience. Joann Fabrics is lucky to have you!!!

How can you be out of gift cards on the 20th of December? I drove to Council Bluffs and they had plenty. Seems like someone would take the initiative to go get a few from another store.

I looked online to see if the Bellevue Nebraska store had the 12 skeins of yarn available in the 3 colors I needed. The online site showed they were available, however when I arrived at the store there were none. I asked a couple of sales women and a manager if they could locate assist me in locating them and I was told they were in the back storage, but they were unable to go through all the boxes to locate them. I asked what would happen if I would have ordered them online to pick up in the store and their response was that they would have cancelled the order when I showed up to pick it up. Not ok and very inefficient, lackadaisical customer service. Hire more employees JoAnn.

I will be purchasing the bulk of my yarn and other craft things elsewhere. I'm surprised Joann's brick and mortar stores are still open.

JoAnn's in store selections are lacking. Issues with customer service and online ordering has major issues. In the past I have placed an order online my bank approved the charge, buy on JoAnn's side the transaction did not complete. I called the 800m number they were unable to assist. Their only comment was to tell me to wait 10 or so days and the transaction would drop out of my bank account hold status and my funds would be released.

JoAnn's in store and online experience seems and feels inefficient and antiquated.

I really like this store, I enjoy crafting. There wasnt anything that made this trip super exciting. I did find everything I needed and there was a big sale for the holiday, so that was cool.

Not the least bit helpful. If we are calling on the phone for answers it's because we need to know specific information. We don't need to look anything up online. (If you make me I won't be buying from you.) We aren't asking so we can drive over there to look (trying to save a 60 mile trip). Why do they pay these people.

finally found the fabrics and the pattern that I wanted approach the fabric cutting table where and associate was at she continue to work did not acknowledge me at all. Two older white customers came up, took numbers and she immediately says number 63 she could have told me I need to take a number she could’ve helped me right away either one, but chose not to. Not sure if it’s because I’m younger or if is because I’m black either way. I am so over this!!!

This review is very late in being posted. I was at Joanna in April! I will start by saying I do not so at all. I asked the very nice lady where could I find birthday material. She also told me to take a number now and then do my shopping. I had no idea about the number for the line so very appreciated she told me to grab one. Well I did find the perfect material I couldn’t find the area told me to look in. Come to find out the store was rearranging and the signage was down. She helped me locate the section when it was my turn to be assisted. She then went on to tell me how to wash and iron the material before I used it. I said I was making a birthday tree and was just going to use it for a tree skirt. I said I had zero ability to sew but thanked her for being helpful. I told her from past experience that I was pretty sure sewing machines hate me. We had a good laugh and I went on my merry way with the perfect material for under the birthday tree.

Better inventory than most places and super friendly staff. Inventory is organized nicely. It is easy to get up and down the aisles - lack of clutter. Pickup orders work well here too.

This particular store has a good selection of different types of fabric and craft materials (a lot of it on sale too). Now, even though they have quite a few aisles with yarn, the variety is very limited (mostly #4 gauge & up) and even on sale is much more expensive than the full price at their competitors. So far, I've always had a good experience with the employees which I find helpful and friendly.

You can find an amazing assortment of printed fabric and wonderful inspiration when looking through patterns and notions. Download the JoAnn App for coupon savings. The Staff might be able to provide some suggestions and assistance on your projects. Some locations are better at servicing customer requests and questions. I go to 5 different locations and find the staff in Council Bluffs to be the most helpful.

Had my first disappointing experience at Joann's tonight. I had my emotional support dog with me, because they are a pet friendly store and I always bring her with.

The lady that checked me out was just rude and unfriendly. Unfortunately, I didn't notice a name on her shirt, and upon looking at the receipt, there isn't a name there either. I will say that it seemed like she was a type of manager based on the other employee's interactions with her. It was in the hour before closing time.

I think that she didn't like that I had my dog with me (based on her expressions and looks throughout the transaction). And that's ok. I don't expect everyone to be a dog person.... But she had a disgusted look on her face for the entire transaction, like she was smelling something nasty. She was unresponsive to EVERY SINGLE THING I said. There was basically no interaction at all other than her telling me the total. She also might have robotically said thanks, but I don't believe she did. Either way, it doesn't really matter when it would've been said without any friendliness or enthusiasm... I could let that slide really, but I felt uncomfortable, and like I was ruining her night by being there.

Everyone has bad days, but I expect people to put that aside when interacting with customers that LITERALLY PAY THE EMPLOYEES WAGES. It's what I do, and it's the professional thing to do. Whether that's the reason for her put off facial expression or not, I can't say, but again, it doesn't matter why.

I hope I never see her again. She ruined my mood and my night.

Otherwise, I love this place. I might pick other locations after this experience though. Seriously considering contacting their higher ups or leaving a review on their website since it doesn't seem like anyone looks at or addresses the Google reviews, and there seem to be a large number of people complaining just like I am

The service is always terrible. I tried curbside pickup this time and they left me sitting outside for almost 15 minutes with no communication. I ended up having to leash my dog, bring her in with me, and carry my giant sewing machine out while juggling a dog leash. Don’t offer curbside pickup if you’re not able to bring things out curbside.

Our visit was great until the Store Manager Dee literally followed us around and even scolded my friend for bringing over a box of elastic. "You need to ask for help!" She said, walking away in disgust. Funny how I did not see a sign directing me to such. I honestly think she thought we were trying to steal it, as she proceeded to follow us throughout the store.
I did notice that she made "other" people nervous.
I don't know about anyone else but when you walk into a store, I don't expect employees to treat me like royalty, but for the amount of money one spends at the places, a smile would be nice. Needless to say, I did not spend my intended amount. Instead, I took my business elsewhere.
Ms Dee, I suggest that before you judge, you take a step back. Literally back and into the back room. If it wasn't for the overly nice and helpful staff, we wouldn't of spent a dime. The rating I gave wasn't for you, the rating was for the other employees.

My future purchases will not be at this store when Ms Dee is working.
