VALERIE the florist is rude ! She doesn’t know how to deal with customers on any level. Her disposition is really messed up. She didn’t take the time of day to hear or listen to me just give excuse after excuse. I hope she gets fired ! Don’t work with the public if you don’t like the public . Plus those plants are not being cared for properly … her mean attitude and energy is way off for both plants and customers .

Well stocked store and decently priced Boars Head products when on sale.
Prices seem a bit steep however with Thanksgiving coming up and Black Friday sales approaching. This location always seems to have pleasant and helpful staff.

Workers at this location are rude and show no professionalism. Attempted to return items I purchased from another location with a receipt and was only 6 days past. Lady at customer services says they won't take the return because I didn't purchase it from that location. Product is sold at this location as well.

I will not shop here anymore. I went to the butcher shop to get fresh steaks and fajita steak. The lady packaged everything THEN tells me that she can't actually give me the packages because it exceed $50. I'd have to pay first, THEN they'd come get the meat. So I go checkout and the idiot meat lady didn't print out a UPC code for my meat. The clerk had the bagger kid run back to get: 1) the UPC codes and 2) the meat. Thr idiot at the meat counter refused to give the bagger kid the meat, since I had to PAY FIRST. So I paid. The bagger kid had to run back AGAIN - get this, without the receipt!!!! And the idiot lady behind the meat counter gave him the meat.

If this is the process to get fresh meat, this place can kiss ALL of my business goodbye.

What I can share about Smith’s in North Las Vegas is that it’s very convenient since we live a block away. The bakery department has a great employee named Anna who always helps my wife and I. This is probably the best part of Smith’s at the moment. Go get some fresh bread, donuts, and other bakery items from her( she is very helpful and has a very nice personality ) Downside to this Smith’s is it there’s always guys hanging out, wanting you to sign some kind of survey regarding voting, women’s rights, or any number of ridiculous Liberal junk. I don’t like this kind of soliciting; that turns me off, and they need to figure out how to get rid of it. These guys look like they’re old enough to get good working jobs out there, so I’m not sure what they’re getting paid to do this for. This is a dead-end racket and needs to be shut down. The Carpenters Union needs you guys right now! Anyway, go see Anna at the bakery! I’m not done

If I could give this smiths no stars I would my husband bought me some lobster tail to make for my bday and they were bad smells and had a pinkish discoloration had the whole house stinking so he took them back and the manger refused to exchanged it or give our money back I taught smiths guaranteed all foods are fresh very disappointed on my birthday very rude and manager basically said he dnt care that the product was bad so we ended up buying some more lobster at another smiths but they were 59 dollars not cheap would never go back to that smiths .. terrible service he could of given us more lobster or gave the money back he took back the lobster with the smiths packaging got them to see it was bad .. and the woman who sold it remember us and was there too

I came in and purchased $20 worth of carne asada from the meat department this past Sunday and was helped by an Asian woman. I also picked up two sodas, and then my husband and I checked out. However, I noticed that when we walked out of the store the bag in his hand beeped as we passed the exit. We both looked at the bag and thought it was strange because why would anything we bought have a sensor on it? Well upon opening the package at home I see there was a sensor placed on my meat. But why? There are plenty of items worth more than this within the store that do not have a sensor on them, so why was my package of meat so important that it was tagged? I hope that all customers who order meat from behind the counter receive this honor and not just those who fit a particular profile.

My husband is Hispanic. He came right after work to get some deodorant and wipes after because he was going to the gym after. As he was gonna go pay he was accused of stealing by an older, white, female employee. She was giving him a hard time to just pay and go, telling him that he should’ve paid at the beauty section. In other smiths there is no beauty section to pay at. To the point where security had to go over. When the manager came to see what was going on, they told him that the older employee accused him of stealing. Why would he be stealing yet be on his way to the cashier? I don’t know. They sent the older employee to the back and the manager refused to give out her name. Seems like they’ve had problems with this employee due to how the manager reacted. They told the employee to go to the back and they gave him the merchandise for free. Terrible way to deal with an employee like that. Or situation. BEWARE of this employee at this location.

Can Smith Supermarket have a section of the bakery that sells non-dairy, gluten free pastries and donuts because I have a couple health conditions where my body isn't able to eat dairy and gluten, so I have to be on a non-dairy, gluten free diet because of my health conditions.

This is an okay store but one of the employees, a manager named Misty, seems to have been raised by wolves. I shop at the Ann and Decatur store in Las Vegas every day. Cashier/manager Misty was the rudest employee I’ve ever dealt with. After initially being hostile to me because she had to type in my customer number by hand, she then refused to give me the correct price on beets, overcharging me by $3. Misty refused to do a price check. When I disputed this and went to get a photo of the shelf price for her, she was already checking out the next customer! I was gone 20 seconds to help fix HER mistake. After that, Misty continued to be mouthy and belligerent, treating me very unprofessionally. To the point that I left in tears. Unless Misty is fired, I will have to start shopping elsewhere.

It's a smaller store so sometimes it's difficult to get through aisles when they're stocking & product variety is a little lower.

This review is for the pharmacy team. I would figure that as a smiths employee, you would be able to help smiths customers with opening the restroom. And the sign u put up is very rude and unprofessional. I will not be using this pharmacy. I've came to this location many times and seen this sign a ton and I'm going to complain about it today. The front end is short as it is and you guys don't have to stock the shelves or deal with any of the front end operations yet u cannot take 1 second to open up a restroom door for a customer. It is completely ridiculous and lazy.

I am all over town and stop at a lot of Smiths. Went to the deli to get some cold cuts. The two women there where cutting meats (I'm guessing to put in the case of sliced cold cuts). Waited like 5 minutes and they didn't even turn around. So I started saying "excuse me, hello" still no reply. Finally the one lady turned around looked right in my face grabbed another package a cold cuts and proceeded to cut it. Not once acknowledging me. Needless to say I wasn't very happy and I left the counter. Only to come back about 7 minutes later to find at least 3 people standing around waiting. None of them looked very happy. I find in general the service at Smiths to be better than Albertsons, but definitely not this time. I guess I'll just take this store off of my stores to stop at, and maybe hit Albertsons a little further down the road.

Had my wallet stolen right out of my purse on 10/23 while shopping. I made the mistake of turning by back from my cart for just a sec. Then was told that this happens often at this store...what? Then found out that the camera system does not cover the aisles..what? Why wouldnt the store up their security camera coverage if this is an ongoing problem? Then I had to send the lead person back to look at the footage 3 times because she would give up after a few mintues and then tell me she didnt see anything. Shameful! Keep your head on a swivel and keep any personal items in your sights at all times. If youre really smart, you will shop somewhere else. Older people beware! It almost sounds like some of the staff is in on the theft by the way they responded to the issue. DO NOT SHOP HERE! There is violence and theft all of the time!

Definitely cannot miss the bakery here. Bagels aren’t that good but if you have a sweet tooth, there is no shortage of goodies here. From the donuts, brownies or muffins, haven’t had a bad thing yet!

Later at night, they will move a rack near self check out that has clearance bakery goods on it, during the day, it’s in the back of the store near the diary case.

I usually shop here weekly, but now I don’t think I want to come back. The cashier was rude and had an attitude with me and my dad when we asked her to clean up a spill that was on the scanner. She continued to scan our groceries on the liquid which got on most of our groceries. We still don’t know what this liquid was and are disgusted that the cashier couldn’t take 10 seconds to wipe it up. Instead she gave us attitude and complained when we told her to clean it up. Very terrible experience. Will be contacting the health department regarding this experience.

I’ve been using this Smith’s for 5 years. My job is in the same shopping center so it’s convenient for me. There are a very small handful of employees that are superstars but majority are rude and snotty. The pharmacy employees are extremely unprofessional. They don’t care their mistakes and lack of communication means life or death to their customers. I’m definitely breaking up with this place. I’d rather waste the gas and time finding better service. Shame on the corporate that allows this.

We always use this Smith’s for all of our shopping! It is closed, convenient, they have great deals all the time, not to mention the rewards but we mostly love the fantastic customer service! We would like to specifically name Melissa for her bubbly personality, her patience and efficiency. She was such a big help when I brought my elderly mother in the store and my mom was getting tired and worn out from shopping all day and Melissa jumped right in to assist us checking out and was so pleasant and understanding! Colette is always so cheerful when we see her and always stops to chat a moment and helps us if we ever need anything:) we love Smiths but it’s because of their employees is what makes shopping there so great!

Called to make sure they kept security footage and info for an active fraud & theft investigation. They reassured they had it and wouldn’t delete footage “for a long time anyway” but they did, within 2 weeks and before the detective got there. Ruined the entire investigation. A simple basic job.

This location has gone down hill with regards to customer service, pricing, quality of certain foods, customer service, associates, oh and customer service. Yes I made sure I said customer service several times. If you do not like your job then find something else. Don’t make a guest feel bad for interrupting you doing nothing or your senseless conversation is interrupted to answer a question store related. That is why you’re there too, customer service, to help us. You bring it up to management, you get the same BS. Told they’ll take care of it, clearly they don’t because it’s the same thing every time I, family or even others go to this store. (Ann/Decatur) See it every time several times by different associates. It’s rather disgusting not to mention unprofessional, especially toward the elderly! Forget about hitting that place your order button, they claim they never got it or come up with an excuse! The bakery “manager” (Heidi, I believe her name is) is extremely rude. Nasty attitude! Trust me lady, you’re no better than anyone else so stop the attitude!! Same goes to other associates at the seafood, deli counter, cashiers and to the older wma man wearing glasses, sometimes is in cosmetics! Total and complete…… I’ll just leave that blank! I do not know how the corporate office allows such management or associates to treat customers this way. Called to talk to someone in the bakery. First was an automated answering machine that directed me to the deli and that person transferred me supposedly to the bakery. The person who picked up asked who i was holding for and transferred me again. Third person to pick up was customer service who transferred me yet again. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE by ironically, Customer service...

As my groceries were being bagged the lady doing it noticed my raw chicken package was ripped open - She and I both agreed to be on the safe side and get a new package. She told me to stay put and she'd be right back with a new one. After 7 or so minutes and no where in sight I went up to customer service and explained the situation and that i was in a rush and could I just get a refund for the chicken (I had already paid for everything). In the rudest way possible told me that no, I could not get a refund because she wasn't going to give me something for free...which made absolutely zero sense! She kept saying she wasn't going to help me because she didn't know the story which, again, made no sense as I had showed her the receipt and told her multiple times what happened. Even after the cashier explained to her what happened she still refused to help and was so snarky and standoffish. I chose those words over others I could use. I like Smiths but maybe it's time to try somewhere else that is nicer to it's customers.

The store is filthy, I wiped the cart down twice and it was still gross. They don't carry Schweppes ginger ale in the bottle, all the cold medicine, shampoo, and makeup sort of items are locked up behind a gate. There's a button you're supposed to push but nobody comes when you push the button. You you have to flag somebody down. I asked the pharmacy people to call someone but they just told me to push the button again. The checker in the line I went through had a bad attitude. I felt like I was being punked or something, everything about the experience was awful. At the very least, clean up the store please.

Let me first express that I love Smith’s! I am originally from Michigan and relocated to Nevada two years ago and had know idea that Smith’s was the same as Kroger’s. I was sooooo excited to see a familiar brand that has been a part of our family for years. Both have been consistent with quality products, exceptional selections, and awesome customer service; the standard that my family and I have become accustomed to and have never had an issue… until yesterday.

We live in North Las Vegas, NV in Aliante and shop at least 2-3 times a week at Smith’s on Aliante Pkwy. We often get gas from the Ann Rd and Decatur location throughout the week/month.
On June 6, 2021, at approx. 6 PM PST, after filling up my gas tank at the Ann Rd location, I decided to shop so I could continue home without making additional stops. When I arrived, I went straight to the back towards the Seafood Dept to purchase fresh fish (either catfish, tilapia, or both). Well, the lights were turned off, all the seafood was put away and there was no one available.

I then walked over to the seafood cooler area to look at available fresh fish. There were only a couple of prepackaged seasoned Tilapia. Although I never like pre-seasoned meat because I like to season my meat myself, I decided to purchase a pack. My thought was I’ll just rinse it off, re-season and fry it up – no biggie right???

WRONG!

I get home, unwrap the fish only to be met with the foulest fishy smell I ever smelled in my life. My family and I love seafood and enjoy it 2-3 times weekly. The fish was spoiled, covered in seasoning, wrapped, and put out on the shelf for a customer to purchase. This was totally unacceptable!

I returned the fish, with my receipt and complained to the young lady and encouraged her to remove the other Tilipia so no one else makes the mistake I did – noting was done. While she was apologetic, the fish remained out ready for purchase. I also expressed to her that no one was available to provide fresh fish because the seafood dept was closed. She responded saying they were not closed and probably were in the back. I told her that the lights were off as well, and she repeated herself saying they were not closed.

The young lady raced pass me on the way to the seafood dept to give the seafood rep my returned fish and to let him know that I was on my way back. By the time I got back there she said that the seafood guy would be right with me. He came out and I asked him was there any fresh fish in the back because I was the customer that returned the spoiled fish. He said sure, what do you want.
I said catfish or tilapia. Well, after waiting for a couple of minutes, I grew impatient and left.

I am very disappointed in the product and service I received yesterday. Absolutely no empathy or compassion for a loyal customer. I could have chosen Albertson, Vons, Walmart, etc. but I chose Smith’s. Only to be treated this way.

My family and I have been long time Kroger customers and recently Smith’s and have always ALWAYS had positive experiences.

Easy in, easy out. Nice shaded parking on the east side of the parking lot for hot summer days. Mona at the self-checkout will always give you a smile and help you out when you need her. Jason will also always rush in to self-checkout when they are too busy and I mean rush in... he doesn't stand there and wait to be called in to help. I know he thinks he's probably just doing his job, but when someone runs over to a department to help out, you can tell he wants everyone shopping there to have a good experience... that is pretty awesome.

The store lacks items here and there. What I love most about this store are the employees and cashiers. They are so friendly and personable. Many of them carry a great smile and it’s nice to go grocery shopping and feeling great energy. Especially because since the COVID19 lock down all we mostly do is go to the grocery store and go back home. I truly appreciate them for what they do and how hard they work. I just came from the store, going a wic shopping I just got approved for This month and the benefits expire today at midnight. I get what is needed and approved for, I’m in line with cashier I think he’s a manager Darren. My daughter and I were very courteous and helped bagged our groceries, whatever we can do to help and make both our jobs and shopping experience easier. My wic was approved then Darren tells me $8 and some change for remaining. I went ahead and paid because there was another customer behind me. He gave me my receipt, I looked at it and was trying to see why did I have to pay out of pocket I got what was wic approved. I went to the car and read through the receipt and seen that he charged me twice for the fruit. I didn’t have a problem at all. I went back in just to let Darren know that there was a mistake, he was with a customer so I wait in line. He looks behind him and calls Rochelle to get the register for a minute he need to do something. He asked twice and as soon I walk up to the register he rushes away. Rochelle another cashier ask me what’s going on I tell her I think there’s something wrong I shouldn’t have to pay out of pocket, she ask with attitude did I use wic, I say yes. She then looks at the receipt and says oh he charged you twice for the fruit. She said just put your card in. I wasn’t thinking they would give me back anything. So I tell her I’m sorry let me get my card, she rolls her eyes and lifts up her hands making nasty gestures and shakes her head. I run to the car, then Darren is now back at the register. I don’t know what was discussed while I was present, but obviously Darren and Rochelle told the other cashier and baggers , because I was was coming back in Rochelle says oh there she is and they all look at me. Very unprofessional I didn’t make a big deal out of anything like other people would. I was calm and just wanted to let Darren know he double charged me. But they all made it very uncomfortable for me. This is my go to Smith’s . Now with me feeling uncomfortable I’ll have to go out of my way and shop at another smiths further from me.

Be careful. I heard the service deli employees are ill with COVID-19 and the front end managers as well but they are still serving deli meats at the deli counter and not telling the employees. Be careful where you shop. Especially THIS store. I now shop at the Albertsons down the street because of this. You have been warned.

Worst Smith's EVER. Doesn't get shipments on time, locks up alcohol, cosmetics, and all Dove products. If you go to buy wine and Dove, you'll pay twice and stand in 2 different lines, all that for just 2 damn things. Who locks up ONLY Dove products, is there a skin crisis?

Highly disappointed with the bakery. I ordered my daughter's birthday cake from here approximately 3 weeks prior to the party. I called the morning of just to make sure they had the order and were working on it. They confirmed they had the order but the decorator would not be in until 9:30am. The pick up time was 11:30am... Needless to say, you can tell the decorations were rushed. The 6in cake did not look like the pic in the book. The side of the cake was completely different than what was pictured, the cupcakes had a dollop of icing on them with rushed sprinkles, and the worst part was the icing clearly didn't have time to cool/stick to the cake prior to me picking it up...it slid off before I even made it home (less than a 5min drive).

My favorite local grocery store; product prices range from similar to competitively priced depending on sales. The reward points are beneficial to savings in that the more you shop the more advantageous the rewards. I really like the appearance of the store in that it's well maintained; they have a clean interior and exterior and the parking lot doesn't have unattended shopping baskets like ain't other big brand warehouse type grocery stores. Also the store is well managed and they have a courteous staff. All in all, it's a great grocery store with all the things you've come to expect from a store plus now Smith's has introduced automated shopping...it's well worth checking it out.

2006 to 2012 this was my favorite Smith's .then I moved zip codes. being a LV Native I only shopped after 12am....(Cant anymore at smiths.) ...Less people, grave shift were so nice,kids home sleeping, no traffic..when "open 24 hours" was normal. nice to see favorite cashier Colette at this visit before midnight. The store has had a facelift and looks great. This is a clean store with friendly staff.I've never had a bad experience. It's on the corner off Anm @ Decatur

I don't really care for this location as the employees don't seem that friendly at all. My sister lives near this location so I go with her when I have to but I'd rather take her somewhere else. There was a girl in the bakery area that was rather rude when we asked if they had a certain item. She just didn't seem interested in helping us and continued talking to another employee. She had a weird name i couldn't see well enough but she was the only one working there at the time so we couldn't get help from anyone else. What a shame.
