Located next to Popeye's on JFK blvd and close to the food bazaar this is actually a good place to have a bagel!

To sum it up without deep diving, the service is quick while the ambiance is simple and feels chill while they have lots of varieties of cream cheese. I went for everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. Initially I thought the cream cheese quantity was less but while having a bite I realized it was perfect while their bagels were fresh! The price is also perfect for the quality they offer, overall a great place!

Came to bagel Co today for the first time. All the staff were super friendly and inviting. The breakfast menu was very full of options. I dined in and did not wait long for my food. I hate having to do this, but I really need to edit my review from 5 stars down to 3 stars. I really, REALLY liked this place -- it was the kind of local bagel shop where the owner remembers you, it always smells great with the smell of freshly baked bagels & coffee, and you can get a pretty solid sandwich for under $10.

But something has changed with the bagel recipe, and the bagels are just not good anymore. Instead of having that crisp outer layer and fluffy, slightly chewy center, they now all have the consistency of crumbly, slightly stale bread. I'm not saying I just got a few stale bagels -- I'm saying that after repeated visits and chances, every bagel I've had there for the past several months has been made from different, inferior ingredients than they used to use.

I used to bring visitors to this place for breakfast after they stayed over, since it was such an iconic kind of NY/NJ bagel spot. But I can't take people here anymore because they'll think I don't know good food from bad. PLEASE change the recipe and ingredients back to what you were using when you opened -- I'm a local who really wants to support you guys and see you succeed. But you can't do it with an inferior product.

I got fruit cups they had on display and as soon as I had my first bite the fruit tasted old and as of they used the same knife to cut onions to cut the fruit. Very dissatisfied considering I ordered 3 for my family, they also agreed it was terrible and a trip to never make again here. I spent $15 on absolute trash very disappointed. Usually the food and the bagels have come out well and I haven't had an issues but this one really got to my family and I.

Entrati per la prima volta a mangiare i famosi bagel ma accolti in modo molto indifferente e nemmeno spiegato come funzionava visto che per noi era prima volta e non sapevamo come scegliere.
Una volta seduti sentiamo la ragazza che sta alla cassa che ci prendeva in giro e poi arriva ci lascia i piatti in malo modo sul tavolo e se ne va.
Sinceramente non lo consiglierei perché sono davvero maleducati.
Nè un sorriso nè un grazie.
E si sono comportarti allo stesso modo con altri turisti entrati dopo di noi.

Inaccurate times on google. It says they open at 7am on Sundays, and while people were inside they gave us dirty looks until 7:15 and then opened the door without saying hello or anything and proceeded to tell us they couldn’t make anything hot until 7:30a. A guy came in 2 min after us and they make him hot food right away. We left and went to a place around the corner and got something immediately. We won’t be back. What a waste of good retail space.

Today will definitely be my last time coming to this establishment! The prices are reasonable and my food has always been tasty.. that's not the problem. However, just like the other reviews the customer service is really bad. The girls are not friendly at all.. today as I was waiting for my breakfast sandwich to be made, I noticed the girl was talking to a male coworker that just came inside the store and she had my cheese slice in her hand waving it around, up and down, by her shirt & down by her apron and also she let it touch the handle of the meat presser on the grill so I asked for a different slice of cheese (& rightfully so) but at first they didn't understand my request and I asked about five different times which was very frustrating. And they had a bad attitude about it. Never again ☹️

This place used to be good when they opened. Lately I avoid ordering here because I’m always disappointed. The girls have major attitude problems whenever I go in person. And every time I order online delivery, something is wrong. I used to live for the lox bagel with cream cheese and avocado. The last time I ordered it, it tasted so warm and off I couldn’t eat it to avoid getting sick. Today I ordered two sandwiches and a muffin. They upcharged me for the additional requests I had which is fine and expected. When my order arrived, a whole sandwich was missing. I called the store 8x and it went to voicemail each time. I literally can’t fathom how lazy and unprofessional this is. Especially because I paid for the missing food! The partial refund doesn’t cover the cost of the sandwich and the price adjustment and now there’s one less mouth to feed. Avoid ordering from here. If you must, go in person and be prepared to deal with unpleasant employees.

Food is always great, staff closing before the store closes and refusing to serve customers is crazy to me. Went in just after 2 and was informed the machine was closed and cleaned so we couldn’t order what we wanted. I had to go spend my money elsewhere because someone didn’t want to do their job. Not cool, other that that great place to eat if you can get what you want. I understand 10-15 mins before the shift ends if it’s clean but a whole 40 minutes ? Needs to be corrected by management IMO

Only complaint I have is that there are so many fruit flies in this place. They are all hanging out on the art work on the wall and flying everywhere. This makes it an unpleasant dining experience. I suggest if you don't like swatting away flies while you eat take it to go.

I’m gonna try not to be too harsh but honest. The food is not garbage but it is no where near great. The service is exceptional but the problem I always have in the store is my order. The people who work there dont seem to understand the bagel industry. One time I asked for a bagel with cream cheese and they gave me a bagel with a cream cheese cup on the side I did t find out until I was already on the bus like that is where I draw the line for a bagel spot like come on it just shows people do t know what they’re doing in there. Also it cost 4 dollars for that dry bagel with cream cheese cup on the side not worth it. Otherwise if it’s something you need last minute it’s ok.

My friends and I showed up here one morning for some bagels on our way to catch a flight. With three different bagels we came away with three different thoughts. One thought it was almost perfect with great taste, one thought the bagel was a great mix of crunchy and soft and the avocado was fresh. As for me, I thought it was just ok. I’d get it again in a pinch. Good service.

I like this place, but the customer service is lacking. I wasn’t greeted when I came in, and the place was nearly empty. My food sat on the counter for a few minutes and I had to ask if it was ready, with three women working. And at that point, I was the only one there besides someone else who was eating at table.

Jamilet from Bagel .Co & I had an awkward moment, I go there frequently & didn’t have an issue till now. I did not feel welcome By her lack of proper customer service. She gave me & my wife a face when we asked to dine in. I asked what time they close & she relied With one word “soon” so I asked what time is soon? & she said idk like 2:30pm mind you it was 1:35 when I asked. Meaning I had time to eat there but we just left cause of the customer service.

Had a long stay in North Bergen, and this spot was a couple of min walking from our hotel. O had a full breakfast 2x on this trip, and everymorning my carrotjuice with a tint of milk. One lady in particular was always very attentive. She was there everyday that I came in. And here service was always good! Your company will only grow with staff like that!

So I asked for scrambled eggs spinach American cheese side of bacon. I received a big mess on my plate the cheese slapped on my plate on top of my bacon. I been a grill cook for over 20 years IF YOU DONT HAVE A PASSION FOR COOKING DONT DO IT FOR THE MONEY! This location is one of my favorite locations to come and have breakfast. The staff are super nice and the food is delicious. Definitely recommend my friends and neighbors to come. To those my comments, definitely come to this location.

On a 5 day trip to visit the NYC this small bagel shop down the street from my Airbnb became a must stop for breakfast every day. They have a nice size menu that will leave you satisfied with a different item and their customer service is unmatched. I wish I could give them 6 stars!

Did you guys tried the yogurt parfait and fruit cups !!
I had 4 yesterday for my whole family and it’s the first time I ordered I really loved it.

I am glad that we have bagel shop opens in our area would love to try their food every single day!

We loved this place , we tried bagels from there few times, it was delicious taste!!
They have so many Different flavors of cream cheese for bagels !!

Their bagels are soft and incredibly Tasty 😋

Would love be a regular customer there!!

Dispite a mixup in the order the bagels were fresh and the sausage and egg very nice, but the fact that none of the staff had masks on will keep me out for a while. I hope they see this and improve.
