My family and I came to this Starbucks for a treat after our trip to New York City. The Starbucks app says that this venue has in store seating, however this is not the case. One of my Family members requested a Frozen Lemon Loaf out of the Freezer. I understand that this is not something that is often asked for, but the way that Isaiah the denied the request surprised us. He was unable to explain why they couldn’t, just that they couldn’t. He confirmed when the loafs are getting low in stock that they go to the freezer to replenish them, but gave no reason for why they could not do this for a customer of 20 years who gets this same item daily. During this Isaiah raised his voice and seemed very stressed, which was very concerning. We got our drinks afterwards, which tasted much different then were used to as well. We are now on our way to a different Starbucks for seating and a Lemon Loaf. Would not visit again.

On the morning of November 26, 2024, at 9:18 AM, I placed an order through the Starbucks app and went to the drive-thru to pick it up. Unfortunately, I mistakenly bypassed the intercom and drove straight to the window. Instead of handling the situation with understanding or professionalism, the employee who attended me—an African American man—was extremely rude and made an unnecessarily big deal about the mistake.

As a loyal customer, I was shocked by the lack of courtesy and professionalism. This is not the level of service I expect from Starbucks, a brand known for prioritizing customer satisfaction. It was an upsetting experience and definitely not a great way to start my morning. I hope the team at this location receives training to handle similar situations with more patience and respect in the future.

No se ni por donde enpesar.. fui con mis niñas sobrina y mi mamá a comprar café y se tardaron una eternidad para tomar la orden luego como 20 minutos en sacar un café 10 minutos después fui a preguntar y me salieron con que tenían fila en la ventanilla y que la fila era prioridad para ellos .. entonces es prioridad los que piden un café y no los que esperamos asta 6 ordenes ahí parados y resulta que mi una parte de mi orden la tenia en la ventanilla. Me la dieron y me faltaba uno todavía así que les dije que muchas gracias por su atención y me fui porque no me iva a esperar media hora más por otro café pero yo a ese lugar no regreso

I had a wonderful experience at the Starbucks at 2819 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Bergen, NJ. As I was sitting outside, a barista who was just getting off shift noticed that it was a bit chilly and asked if I was cold. Without me even asking, he went back inside to have the overhead heaters turned on for me. This was such a thoughtful gesture and showed a level of care that went beyond just doing the job. The team here really looks out for their customers, and that kind of genuine service makes a difference. Thank you for the warm atmosphere—literally and figuratively!

The worst experience ever. I understand about drive thru. However no body on the lobby to provide any kind of help, bathroom out of order and I couldn't even order on the app. Cause just glitches and didn't let me process the order. Horrible experience nearly was kicked out for asking for a macchiato with no foam ( which they do in every Starbucks ) and was told to look over wise on the menu and let them know what I wanted . I gently asked please to make the coffee and the associate told me I can stand there all day but my order wasn’t possible to make. I then pulled up to the window and asked to speak to the manager , the manager Rochelle approached me very aggressive and told me I can hold up her line all I want I wasn’t getting my macchiato. This is a delightful place to stop. It's a drive thru Starbucks with a Tesla Supercharger and has toilets. Just off of I95 and an easy reach from that highway.

The employees were very helpful and nice to talk to. We were there on a Saturday morning. There is no inside seating. The outside seating had roof heaters to keep you warm.

Based on all the reviews I feel like this Starbucks needs to get fully trained on how to make the drinks. I ordered the oleato and I forgot to mention that I wanted iced. So they were able to change it to iced but they said that they don’t do it iced since the oil will separate and I said ok I have gotten it ice before an no separation and here I am sitting with a film of olive oil in my oleato which hasn’t happened in other Starbucks

Not too sure what happened to this Starbucks. Definitely needs new management or something. The parking lot surrounding it is a mess that feels like I’m going through a jungle safari every-time i go get coffee. The coffee is a miss most times tasting horrible and that is if my order is made right. Also how do you have no almond milk? This isn’t just a one time thing. Its been multiple times I have been told no almond milk sometimes 2 days in a row. Multiple days i have gotten there only to find it closed on a normal weekday. Yes the Starbucks was just closed on a weekday, multiple times. This place needs new management or better intervention from corporate. It is a great location that was definitely an improvement to the community and to the plaza it sits in. Its a shame that there is a difference between the quality of this starbucks in North Bergen vs one in Wayne or Teaneck. I expect better from Starbucks.

These guys don't pay attention to what they are doing!

They list items online that they don't have, every pastry is warmed, even though the label and my order say not warmed. And they give you 3/4 of the order, but you have to wait and ask for the remaining drink, because they put them in the wrong place. Three days in a row. And long wait times every day, too

And when you call them out on their mistakes, they get very rude on you, arguing with you that THEY were very patient with you, not the other way round. She punished me by making my mocca extra scolding hot, I couldn't drink it for 15 minutes. Lol.

Honestly the 2 stars that I gave is for the two guys that are almost closing everyday the are efficient and extremely friendly, I had never a bad experience there, the service today was AWFUL I did a pick up order at 3:18 and it were 3:54 and my order wasn’t there so I told one middle aged lady with black hair (hey my danish is missing and she said OK FINE) *There were around 3 to 4 people) my order was passed and people who went there after me were getting their order so she gave me the danish, she made it because I told her “hey I am in a hurry I did my mobile like 30 min ago” when the lady gave me the danish she said to me “ I only did this time but you have to make the line and wait” LISTEN TO MEEEEEEEE I DID A MOBILE ORDER BECAUSE I WAS IN A HURRY MY MOBILE ORDER WAS PAST AND THEN YOU ARE TELLING ME TO MAKE A LINE AND WAIT. Ill give them the benefit of the doubt they looked understaffed but thats no reason to keep your customers waiting for 45 mins. Prioritize your friend’s orders after school and put mine and a buddy’s on delay for 30 mins. Drink was terrible by the time i got it. As leaving the bathroom was covered in throw up. Someone did clean it up but seems like it was there for a while.

Great location - manager needs to have a talk with the staff about prioritizing customer service.

Dead store shouldnt take 30 mins for a basic order.

I’m honestly not a fan of this Starbucks, but they have this young man named Jay, and he’s such a breath of fresh air. Manager Rachel Oppenheim is very unprofessional . Asked for a cup of iced water with my refresher and she said we’ll have to charge you for an iced tea , I advised that’s against Starbucks policy , then I said fine I’ll just take my drink . I paid for it and then she refused to give it to me . Then charged my card twice and told me if I wait for My drink she’ll call the cops .

I called customer service they advised the manager is not acting under Starbucks accordance and policies.

I went to this particular Starbucks on 2/3/23 to order my usual; An iced Caramel Macchiato and a chocolate croissant. Whoever made my coffee made it with passion and love! The coffee was rich in flavor and wasn’t too bitter! Special thanks to Yunior! The customer service he provided my daughter and I was just phenomenal! I had to put my daughter in check since she couldn’t keep her eyes off him lol. Although they were busy at the time of my visit I got my drink within a few minutes. Great service and friendly staff!

Service is just fine, but I'm concerned about food safety considering the toilet doesn't flush, the sink is just a trickle, and there isn't any soap in the bathroom. In fact, there isn't even a bottle. Just an exposed tube under the sink running up to the pump. Of course, the hand sanitizer on the wall outside is empty as well. Disgusting.

I went on Friday, January 13th, 2023 during the afternoon. Around 330 pm I ordered thru the app. Parked the car and went inside to pick up the order. I had to wait around 30 minutes due to the fact that there were only 2 employees. There a long line inside the store and one of the employees came and said that they were only working the Drive Thru, because of short staff. Approx. 10 people left. I had to stay because I already paid thru the app so no refund available. The employees tried their best to fulfill the orders. They seem very tired and frustrated. Finally I received my order and was mixed up however I took it like that because I didn't want to wait other 30 minutes. Is clear a poor management because isnt the employee fault that their Leadership didn't plan ahead of time the different enviroment in a Spot that is very busy because is close to the highway and the only Starbucks around of tons of Dunkin Donuts. I suggest not to order online or call ahead of time to be sure that there is staff available to help customer.

Pathetic service. Waited for over 20 minute to place an order when nobody was there other than us. The guy with curl hair didnt care at all. He just stood at one place waiting for drive in car.

Glad to see from previous reviews its not just me..customer service is very poor here. At least act like you want to be at work. Never do a walk in order, I promise the wait time is insane IF you do get someone at the register. It seems all the stuff are just focused on drive through and can barely keep with with mobile and then in store. No greeting when you come in. Staff has potential just need better training.

Going inside for pick up is quick and you don't wait no more than 3 minutes, but the drive-thru is slow they need to hire more employees to assist the gentleman with the orders and for the girl on my visit before my recent visit.

Major, major tip - order only at the drive thru. Walk it if you have to. In store service either at the counter or for pick up is slow and theres no places to sit inside. They do have a bathroom though.
