I couldn’t share an experience because the door sign reads, open at 9:30 am. It’s now 9:38 on my phone clock & the door is locked. There are about 6-7 customers waiting to get in. I can’t wait any longer.

They have a lot cheap stuff however they’re prejudiced and quick to anger when they’re are wrong. They assumed i was stealing got visibly angry when I pulled out my card to pay for my items and then refused to give me a bag but goes a head and charged me for it. My total charge for like 4 item was 5 dollars but with the extra charge is 6 they think they can charge you extra because they don’t like you. Customer service is horrible and honestly have a better experience at the dollar store on 31st in Bergenline their store is larger.

I always a lot of good deals, and a large variety of merchandise. I went on Thursday, July 15, 2021, and I had not been to this store in a very long time. It looks like, during the week (Monday through Friday), this store opens at 9:30AM, and closes at 8PM. When the lights begin to turn off, you are not imagining things; they are closing for the night.

This store has a lot of merchandise to pick from for almost everything. The store is organized and clean. I usually go there to buy supplies for arts and crafts since I work with children and prices are ok.

Good spot to find Plastic-Ware items, Kitchen and Household Necessities, and even Pillows, Kitchen and Bathroom Carpets, just about everything (small details) that you'd actually need for your home, at prices cheaper than large stores.

Seasonal items (ex: Christmas decorations) here are pretty over-priced to me.

Some Canned goods and Dried Herbs and seasonings, as well as Flour, Cornstarch, Baking Soda, etc are all available here.

When you need something in a pinch, especially a party at home, this is the place. Tons of party supplies, balloons, gift bags etc. On the weekends expect long lines especially at noon (people last minute shopping before party). They also have a good housewares section.

This store is very unprofessional. The quality of the items are very poor. I paid for a stand to put in my shower and they weren't as advertised. Extremely small and it was damaged. I returned the very next day and asked for a refund and was told no. I asked and they pointed to a sign all the way towards the ceiling of the store that would naturally be missed my most. When I started that there was no indication of refund or return policy on the receipt I was told that this has been the policy for years and the young lady in the store had an attitude that was unbearable. I'm from out of state and I am not used to such poor customer service. I spent over 100 dollars yesterday it was not that I was trying to get over on them but that's how they made me feel. I understand that this is a dollar power but that behavior is still unacceptable. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GHETTO PLACE. They don't even help when you ask for it.

To all of the Residence in North Bergen watch out for this 99 Cent Store no longer the items are 99 cents peroxide water about $3 went to Walmart and it was $0.88 alcohol 70% almost $3 alcohol 50% almost $2 watch out for this store they starting to rip you off because of the Coronavirus I was in this store yesterday to witness register lady be very belligerent to a customer it left me feeling bad for the lady since she was an elderly woman that needed help the only thing she was asking for was someone to help her instead the only thing she received was verbal abuse register woman I don't think I'll be going to this store again if this is how they treat the customer

This is NOT a $1 shop but has cheap stuffs than a $1 as well. Nice, cheap, chocolates (Lindt {many varieties}, Cadbury, Hersheys, Ritter, Hersheys) one-two months away from it's expiry dates, and lots of items. Other mentionable items are cleaning supplies, kitchen items, house repair stuff, balloons, and all kinds of decoration items. Minimum $5 for visa/MasterCard credit card purchases (Aug 2017).
