I've been to the supermarket numerous times. I love that it has a vast variety of different products and brands. The prices are reasonable. I gave this location three stars because as an English-speaking person, there's hardly any employees that speak English and when you're looking for something, it can be very frustrating.

It was clear the seller deliberately chose poor-quality fish, swapping out better ones after pretending to inspect them. This kind of dishonesty and lack of quality control is unacceptable. I will never shop here again and would not recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh seafood.

Great place for a reasonably priced fresh produce. The meat and fish section is huge and has variety to offer. The fruits and vegetables are fresh and aptly stocked along with some exotic and rare items. The place is neatly maintained and the staffs are really friendly.

Good grocery store with lots of fresh vegetables and fruits at very competitive prices. It's a great international store to look for various ingredients and the products are well stocked. We were able to find everything that we were looking for.

Don’t use any of their baskets - only use a cart. If you walk out of the store with a basket, you will be forced to leave your groceries at the entrance, and get your car.

In general, most times I go I have a bad experience. I only go because it is closer. The employees are rude, if you don't speak Spanish they will say slick remarks. In general I feel uneasy whenever I'm there. This last time was just what pushed it over the top.

I will never go back. I was in there yesterday and after purchasing 4 items and some beer I was stopped by the top flight security guard. This brain trust chose me (probably the only caucasian in the store at the time) to check my receipt but no one else. First he says I don't see bread on receipt in regards to the hamburger buns. This scholar couldn't figure out that MRT Big SESM was Martins Big Sesame buns. I told him I wanted him to check the woman behind me with an overflowing cart of food/meats and he told he wasnt going to because "they" told him to check me. I used self checkout with the attendant right there and she put PAID stickers on the 2 packs of expensive hamburgers I bought.
I have short fuse and a bad temper but this was ridiculous. Never never again.

Dear FOODBAZAAR:

I am utterly disappointed by the shady and manipulative practices I encountered at Foodbazaar during my recent visit. It is appalling how they exploit customers like me, especially those already struggling to make ends meet, by overcharging for basic necessities like reusable bags.

I share your sentiment that this reeks of nothing but corporate greed. It's outrageous that a simple bag, which costs a fraction of what they are charging, is being used as a tool to squeeze even more money out of the community they claim to serve.

I, too, make conscious choices to support small businesses and minimize waste by bringing my own bags. However, being coerced into purchasing an overpriced bag left a bitter taste in my mouth. It's not about the money but the principle of being taken advantage of by such unethical practices. Bag price March 1st $2 = to bag price March 22nd $5

It's high time for Foodbazaar to reassess their pricing policies and show genuine concern for their customers rather than prioritizing profits at the expense of the community.
