What a fantastic place to go to. Very welcoming atmosphere and treat you like family. I’ve had the hex here and it is delicious. I don’t drink coffee much but they have a lot of other options that are all very good. I’ve heard the coffee is very good too. They have a great selection of yummy pastries as well. Definitely recommend going here!

Great little stop for great coffee and it is dog friendly. Parking is a little tight. You can park in the parking lot next door and walk over. They have a small indoor and outdoor seating area. They use culture coffee which is one of the best. They have many different types of varieties that you can try. They also have some homemade baked goods that are very tasty. If you're in the area, definitely give them a try. You would not be disappointed. Thank you for welcoming us today

Great small coffee focused shop for morning and mid-day coffee. Friendly and unpretentious staff and customers. As a Californian trained by the legendary Alfred Peet ( Peet's Coffee), I can recommend their darkest roast to any aficionado of Peet's French Roast. Plenty of medium roasted coffee available, of course (cuz it ain't the 1960-70s anymore).

Quickly becoming one of my favorite Saturday morning stops. They close too early during the week unless I'm working in the area so again Saturday is a real treat! They're cold brew is so smooth and delicious. Even some of their specialty drinks which they let you customize are very good. I love the twin touchdown with cold brew and half and half instead of oat milk. Definitely try this place if you're in the area!

Just an awesome little spot off Bloomfield Ave. The snacks are fantastic (energy bites and overnight pats are incredible). coffee I hear is great but I come for the matcha. It’s fantastic. Excited for the weather to warm up to enjoy a drink and bite outside!

It's about damn time there's a good coffee shop in the area!!! They carry Counter Culture coffee which is really good...and usually way more expensive. The owners and baristas know their customers and can still make you feel like the only person in the shop when the line is out the door. Lots of pastry options including a ton of healthier options and also gluten free stuff from Zest. Great place and such a breath of fresh air in the land of, "What do you want from Dunkin?" Nothing! I want real coffee, I want to go to Jola.

2022 update: Man, I LOVE how creative the seasonal drinks are. I try to sample everything on the menu. Where else can I get my comfort food (PB&J) in a latte? Or my favorite summer treat, berry puree in my iced coffee? So good! I'm a proud regular here even though I don't even live in the area and if you're nearby, what's your excuse? It's so good! Even if you're not a coffee person, you'll find something you'll love. We've even converted my anti-coffee mom who now can't go without her iced matcha latte.

Great spot, stopped in there Sunday after mountain bike ride. The staff was amazing coffee was about as good as I've ever had. They've got a larger assortment of everything. The baked goods were delicious I would recommend the chocolate chip banana bread definitely cannot wait to go back

Stopped here with my buddy - service was fast and the coffee was excellent. Have a nice little seating area out front and parking in the back. A cool little tidbit about this place is a little shelf they placed near the door exit, so if you're carrying multiple coffees you can place one down to open the door, small mostly irrelevant detail but surprisingly useful.

best local coffee shop around, Shop local and shop small business! this place is so worth it, great options, unique drinks and flavors, yummy cafe food treats and healthy alternatives. the prices are very reasonable and its a great place to walk to and enjoy a beverage outside their shop! i love their chai lattes and iced coffees and their chia seed bowls :) i only wish the hours were later in the evening for when i want a afternoon coffee :)

So glad that Jola is located on my way to work. I tried a cappuccino for the 1st time today and it was excellent and unique in flavor, you won’t get in common coffee shops. Made me feel cozy and special. The place has also a cool atmosphere. Love it!

It's on the pricey side but you get what you pay for here. Always a good quality beverage. It's worth the extra money. I don't know how many times I got something undrinkable at a Dunkin. That's not gonna happen here. When a latte is made right you don't need any flavoring. Many of the big brands try to cover up the lack of skill their employees have with tons of flavor options. Places like this don't even need those options but I believe they are available. Never even get flavoring though, because it's delicious on its own.

My review is mainly for the very poor service. The coffee here is decent only when the owner makes it and she’s not busy. Otherwise, it’s either burnt, lukewarm, watered down or missing other items that you have asked and paid for. This is called “speciality style coffee.” If you ask for it to be re-done, you will be yelled at and asked not to come back...that’s called “trying to make you happy” in their lingo. Terrific customer service from this “specialty roaster.” Please educate yourselves on speciality roasting including the attitude, precision and joy that goes into making these kinds of beverages. Otherwise, your coffee is just as nasty as your attitude.

I love Jola!! Have been a customer for years and grateful for them being here through this crazy time!! Jodi and Larry are the owners, amazing people. Their staff is terrific and always so pleasant. The coffee and specialty drinks are wonderful. I go there a few times a week and look forward to things getting back to normal and being able to stop in with my kids. They even know their names :-) They are by far the best local shop around. I highly recommend them.

Few coffee shops take coffee as seriously as this place. Five pour-over options, ceramic cups, and a simple decor that puts coffee first. Plus, the folks who were working there during my last visit were attentive and uplifting. I've been to Jola only twice (since I live in West Orange) but it's on my short list of favorite cafes.
