First visit in over a year. Not much has changed. Cars outside shop parked or idling with engines on awaiting overpriced drinks. This location still has the monopoly in coffee shops for over a mile in any direction. But it’s raining heavily and it’s nice to have a roof even got a few minutes. Toilets are in good repair but need more regular cleaning - dirty bowl and no soap on dispenser. Considering the inflated price of my flat white at $5.02, I’m staying with my original rating.
So much has changed since Starbucks’ Seattle-based coffee shops stage in the 1980s. I had the privilege to visit the main Seattle location in 1989. I remember well the welcoming spirit, engaged (With customers) staff and the very high quality of the core product (coffee beans). Fast forward to 2022 - the logo is all that remains. In this soulless box adjacent to a parking garage, the majority of morning customers appear to be collecting internet orders. Staff are performing mainly order fulfilment. If the could be replaced by robotics that would be an innovative feature for this location. Even the customers are for the most part soulless - as I was entering a male customer (large) was leaving. He came right through the doorway with no acknowledgement that another customer was trying to enter at the same time. There are a few tables for digital nomads who have emerged for a few minutes from their cars.
The menu is a typical Starbucks offering. The counter staff were not rude but neither welcoming.
In an age when our very existence will be under stress (climate change, war), please Starbucks can you look back at the 1980s ‘playbook’. I can’t put a monetary figure on it but maybe, just maybe some caring and empathy can go a long way to attracting and retaining customers.
P.S. having read the recent reviews it seems Starbucks could do better than posting A.I.-assisted responses 😠

I found a bug in my drink before i took a sip. I am a bit disappointed. I got it through the drive thru, and there were no bugs in my car whatsoever. I also ordered it with a lid, but i removed it before i took the picture so you can see the bug more clearly.

I just don’t know why they have to check if they have the syrup for every order they take through drive thru. I’ve gone 3 times in two weeks and every time I order I have to stay at the speaker until they check to see if they have the syrup for my coffee. And then I can pull forward to the window.

I don’t have anything against teenagers working, but there were no managers there so they had no guidance. They did not have any of the food, and when I ordered a mango dragonfruit lemonade they gave me a drink with no dragonfruit, and they didn’t tell me that they didn’t have any dragonfruit before I paid for it. I would have appreciated them telling me before I paid. Worst Starbucks ever.

I made a mobile order and waited over 20 minutes. This happens almost every time I order from this location. You will wait a minimum of 10 minutes for your drink. The line for the drive-thru blocks the parking lot for the businesses sharing the building. I travel for work and have been to several Starbucks locations across the nation and this is the worst one by far. They need another location close to here to share the customer load.

I’ve never had a problem with the actual drinks here but don’t come here thinking you’re going to get your drink in less than 10 minutes if you didn’t mobile order it. Choose the drive through and you’re stuck there for about 20 minutes, guaranteed.

Horrible Starbucks. Literally always out of things (ALWAYS out of the ingredients to make a honey almond flat white). Would rather flush my money down a toilet then give it to these people. Don’t put things on your menu if you can’t figure out how to manage your inventory.

Bad customer service, I was in the store with two other people, had to wait ten minutes for one drink. They had me waiting so long for mobile orders that were not in the store. When you go to the store they don't have any protection such as hair nets and gloves and then to handle food is unsanitary. When I stop its because I have a long drive ahead and then to wait so li g for something that could've been done is ridiculous

This is one of most poorly managed Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Expect a minimum of a 15 minute wait (we waited 20 minutes for two Americanos). No line to order but about 12 mobile orders waiting for pickup, 25 people waiting for drinks, and line of cars in the drive thru.

This seems to be the only Starbucks in Westchester county that takes in excess of 10 minutes to get a single drink with next to no customers in the store. Half of the time the drinks aren’t made correctly and the guy manager has a garbage attitude. I will no longer come to this location

I always end up writing bad reviews on this Starbucks. Don’t know what’s wrong with this specific Starbucks. I was able to witness something that really wasn’t a big deal. This customer came in and asked why his drink wasn’t ready. He then asked why there were already other drinks made. Their response…”because no one is here to pick them up”. They could’ve responded with “they’re mobile orders”. Other than that they took very long making the drinks and the guy just asked a simple question. However the workers got offended and created a big deal. One of the workers even said “if you don’t want your drink you can always go somewhere else”. To me, that was rude and that’s not how a customer should be treated. Also, none of them have manners. When you have a conversation you don’t eat or drink. That is just rude. Btw one of the workers was drinking his drink as he was speaking to the customer. Anyway, the workers who were involved were teenagers and they showed immaturity. They were making such a huge big deal out of the poor customers question that my order was messed up. It was very unprofessional. Disappointed but not surprised.

I wish it was possible to give 0 stars. I walked in to this Starbucks because the line was around the building for the drive thru and I was in a rush as most people are early in the morning. I stood at the counter for 10 minutes before I was even halfway acknowledged.. I asked if I can place an order and the worker mumbled something that I could barely understand. Come to find out you can't order inside it is drive-through or app only. There should be signs posted to this matter if this is how they want to conduct business.

Consistently disappointing. They always mess up my mobile order (forget an espresso shot, add ice when I asked for no ice, make the wrong drink entirely, etc.). I try to pick up my drink quick so I can continue to work, but I often find I am still waiting a long time for them to make my drink when I get there, despite ordering well in advance. Basically, submitting a mobile order takes the same amount of time as waiting on the long line for their drive-thru or walking into the store and ordering it from the cashier. It seems like most of the folks who work there are still in high school, so I can cut them some slack, but I definitely avoid this Starbucks if I can, and I would advise anyone who's reading this to do the same.

Since the closed the Ardsley location, this store is often out of food items and the lines can be long. Parking lot can be challenging and their order ahead inventory is often incorrect.

Listen I work at the spa right next to this Starbucks and I go to school near it and every time It’s a hit or miss. First off this Starbucks never has anyyyyy products. Like you would think because this Starbucks is so busy because it has a drive thru and is right there they would have more products but they don’t. I can tell you who makes good drinks and who doesn’t in that place, the people there mostly have attitudes and they have some new people sometimes where they are nice and make good drinks. It all depends honestly and I think this Starbucks needs more products and new staff! Even calling the phone they have attitudes, I pay so much money like 7$ for my coffee I would like it to be worth the money Thankyou

The worst Starbucks!!!!!!! These employees devalue the products we pay for, and the customer service experience. I can’t believe it is so hard to get a cup of their signature drinks right. I am not surprised to see so many bad reviews here. I ordered a tall matcha latte hot and it came out iced after they specifically asked if I wanted it hot or iced. Then they acted totally put out when I told them their mistake. They made me my drink and handed it to me without a word. Not even thank you much less “sorry”. Yikes. Bad management maybe?

They didn't heat up my danish nor did they ask. On top of that, they gave me a completely wrong coffee order which they dumped out in front of me when I told them it was wrong. I have no idea how it happened as I was charged correctly and the cashier repeated my order back to me. This was not my normal Starbucks experience.

This is only the second time Ive been in this Starbucks and both times they made mistakes. The service is not that great to begin with but at least get my order correct. I ordered a small macchiato and only got one shot. Then I asked for a second shot and paid for it but was still only given one shot. when I asked for the second shot and paid for it. What was the point in paying for the second shot? Unbelievable. New employees or maybe they need better training?

DO NOT BUY FRAPPS HERE!! everytime i go here and get a frappe they get insanely lazy with the whipped cream & add ons. my go to is the mocha cookie crumble & i get no extra whip on the bottom & just half of the top. its a rip off. go to Executive Blvd for frappes. this place absolutely sucks. get it together starbucks!!

I’ve given then many chances and I regret it. Every time I place a mobile order, no matter how much time passes before I pick it up, they NEVERRRRR have it made when I get there. This last time, I gave them 25 mins and they were “working on it”. I watched them make other orders, asked for my order 3 times, before I actually got it. I understand being busy but that’s ridiculous. Not to mention when you walk in there you’re ignored until you wave them down and then when you finally get their attention they’re rude.

If there was a -5 stars they would definitely deserve it. Store 11973 gives the worst customer service ever. From the barista making the food to the drive thru barista, the service is below the standard of Starbucks period.
If this was my first experience at this establishment I would’ve let it go, but every time that I have came to this establishment not only had to wait excessive amount of time to get my order, I have to watch the horrible customer service of this team mess up other people’s order. Then to add insult to injury the barista‘s are nonchalant and also lackadaisical.
They need to retrain or replace the whole morning Crew.
I ordered in the Drive-Thru (quad on Ice , 4 pumps of classic sweet cream, ) and cheese danish. I received my drink and I was told to pull up to get my cheese danish . In the heart of winter, my 30 second wait on a heat danishes turned into a 15 min wait and I STILL NEVER Received it. I actually had to go into the store and ask for a refund because this 15 min catastrophe made me late for work. Manger offered to still give me the cheese danish. But. Then still waited another 10 min. I just left.I ordered at 7:50 and didn’t leave till 8:20
If you don’t want to be late for work Don’t come here at ALL.

We're not happy at the moment that while mobile orders are preferred and recommended, many, many of the items are listed as sold out or not available. Yet, if you go into the store, those items can be found. What's up with that? This is a difficult time for sure, but we are confused and frustrated by this inconsistency.

I’ve been ordering Starbucks for 11 years. I’m from the west coast where this company originally began.
Work on the pace of drive though. It’s a crime how slow you are. I’ve been to this location about as many fingers I have and today was the first time they actually tried to read my order back. I’ve been so frustrated I’ve gotten out of a passenger side door and taken a walk to see the car I was in was still in the same spot.
If you go to any Starbucks in the great northwest ..they will not take your time. I’m disappointed. For a fast past “business capital” of a state, you put this company to shame.
The people who work here need to know how to take orders and be kind. They blow off half of what you say.
