This store is really hit or miss. Sometimes it is clean, sometimes there's dried pools of blood on the floor in the meat section. Sometimes you will find 95% of the things you need, most times you will have to shop elsewhere because their stock is inconsistent. Their online ordering for curbside pickup is very easy to use, the pickup process is efficient and staff are fantastic. However, it is a total gamble whether or not you'll have food fit for consumption. I buy ground turkey just about every time I put in an order and almost always get a package that is puffed out due to lack of proper refrigeration so I have to toss it. I once received hummus that was 1 year expired, I didn't know until I got really sick after eating it, then I checked the package. Some more QC on order picking and improvement in availability of items would easily make this a 5-star grocer.

You must pay to use a cart like they did back in the day. The supermarket is clean and spacious. The prices for grocery items are surprisingly low. 32oz bottle of apple juice was .95 cents. The lines get long and can be confusing. Dare not take a cart from the cashier, they use them for packing. The fast paced attitudes of the cashiers suck out loud.

Love getting told the register is closed, but as we’re on line at another register, I see the hispanic lady taking more customers at her register. Didn’t you just tell me you weren’t taking any more customers just to take some after you asked us to go to a different line.

Great price on most items. Fast service, when they have enough cashier's, but be prepared for silly things like, no eggs for 3 days, just like today. 9 times out of 10, whenever I go there, they're out of something I normally buy. They need to set limits on certain things so that one person can buy 50 dozen eggs, and I'm not exaggerating.. as a matter of fact, they told me they sell out of eggs by 12 noon, which stinks since I can't get there before 3pm. If you need something in particular, look for that first so you don't waste your time shopping for other items you don't really need a much.. oh, and eggs isn't the only thing they're always out of. Today it was regular bacon, scallions, and their store brand cream cheese. And again, no eggs today! Sheesh!
They need to hire more cashiers. Never enough lines open.

10/30/24- still not enough cashiers. Plan to wait, even for 1 item! Really bad.

Would be a 5 star if not for one thing. This location NEEDS self checkout like the Bay Shore store. Too many times I'll run in for a few things and get stuck in a line of people with full carts going half the length of the store. The people who work here are lovely, but attention really needs to be given to the checkout area.

I once timed it. I could go shopping in north bab, drive with my groceries to the Bayshore store check myself out and drive home before I'd be home from this store. FYI I waited about 15 mins once just to buy some bread and milk once.

I really enjoy shopping at ALDI.. Not only their price is affordable , but their merchandise are very good . And things that you purchase for more money at the supermarkets are cheaper there. And again, the employees are very nice .

When this location first opened I really wasn’t the biggest fan which had a lot to do with the limited name brand items.

But I have to admit it’s grown on me. The price for a gallon of milk & a dozen eggs can’t be beat.
While their name brand selection is limited they do carry several that I like such as Coke & Gatorade.

I don’t see why it’s such a big deal to use a quarter to UNLOCK a shopping cart. It’s meant to stop people from leaving them all over the parking and or leaving them. Unfortunately some rude people insist on lining them up on the lot anyway. The worst are those that block the handicapped parking spaces with shopping carts. Just because you’re too lazy to bring them back to the corral doesn’t mean they should be left wherever you please. It’s not fair to those that want to park. Especially the disabled!!!

I went there for the first time this past weekend, all the produce looked like it was dry and starting to go bad. The cucumbers and tomatoes looked like mush and wrinkled up. There was barely any selection on any of the normal every day items and the store was not tidy. A lot of the shelves were empty.

Hi Aldi North Babylon,

As I’m writing this it breaks my heart to say things I noticed in the store. I have been going there since aldis open in North Babylon and past couple of weeks, I had a very unpleasant experience. First I noticed salmon in meat area has packaging with mold development and then a day before I was looking for bread loaf and I noticed mold development on bread packaging. This really upsets me as a community we come to buy foods for our daily necessities and trust the store on busy days going there picking food quick now this experience of mine has change how I use to see Aldis. I Hope management will take some action and provide clean food to the community.

I like Aldi's a lot, but I don't think they carry everything that a grocery store supposed to carry. They also don't have a discount card to earn points for free stuff and discounts like lidl's and stop & shop do. I like their atmosphere and they have a lot of registers open when it gets backed up.

Asked for a reduced price on a dozen eggs where some were broken. The rude manager walked away without even looking at me and said no then don't buy it. He was an overweight young white guy. No social skills, no managerial skills. Good grief!

The prices would be amazing if they actually were stocked properly. Most everything is processed boxes of food. Just the other day, I wanted to pick up some fruit, but there weren't any bananas, pears, kiwi fruit, and most of the apples look like they had been tossed around in shipment showing bruises on the skin.

I like aldi.bcz it save our money not only grocery but also home decor. I wish Aldi will be increase their chain business. ALDI also need to Develop at meet section by adding Halal Meat and food. Honestly I prefer this Aldi over the one in bayshore and they are both equal distance from me but this one is much more clean always up to date in all the aisles. The customer serves here is so nice. Way less crowded. The lines always moving so you’re in and out. I really appreciate how clean they keep the store over all :)

The cashier who served me today January 26 at the first checkout was very rude, he threw my products regardless of whether it was in a cart and I was making two separate purchases. And I explained to him that if he could please put the products on top of the cart, not putting everything together and he said no and that he didn't care that the purchases were separated. and he started to pull everything harder in the cart gathering everything together.

Not a good selection of groceries. Limited supply of items. Helpful clerks, if you can find one. No bags at all. Better off going to Stop & Shop, Walmart or Wegmans. Good only for eggs, milk and pre-cut cold cuts.
