1 parking lot is an ice rink
Handicap parking is covered so u cant tell what it is

Most items are NOT 1.25. WASTE OF TIME AND GAS.

Second xomprehension is lacking...i asked where their dollar side was n shes like let me show u i said no the signage is red for family dollar...i came for a 1.25 broom not a 7.00 one if that were the cae i woulda went across the street to my location.

I was just checking the reviews to see if things have improved over the last 3 month's. Lo and behold after I read EVERY review available I noticed that the two I wrote in the last few years are gone. So I understand Legal Sloth's frustrated review submitted yesterday. More rude customer service, which is usually the case. The chips I had bought time before last expired by months, clearance that isn't marked and hasn't been marked over The last 5 year's...Filthy windows and half empty shelves. I won't waste my time here

They recently redid the layout of the store and added a larger grocery section which is nice. But over all this store isn't what it used to be. The outside is littered with cigarette burts from employees smoking at the entrance, employees in general hardly ever have good attitudes, and parking all make it a rare stop for me or the family

I go to this FD store very often. If I ask them for help, they really help me to find what Im looking to buy. I recieve exemplary service at checkout as well. They are always greeting customers and the small talk. I enjoy shopping here & especially Tionna & Megan always make you welcome to the store. Thanks again for attending to customers with a warm heart.

Horrible experience today over a price check. The older blond was snotty and ignorant. She told another customer that had walked in the store that some people can't read prices, and she's not honoring anyone's word! I never asked her to honor my word, and I made the purchase.

I worked from the Canadian border, Montana and close the SD border in the oilfield since 2009, I shop at dollar stores when I have the choice because they are reasonable. I have 3 friends that manage Family Dollar stores in two different states and they say it's hard to get to inventory and update labels because of lack of help.

I understand some stores are understaffed. Maybe it's time for ND to cut welfare for able working bodies! Nonetheless I have run into some dollar stores with labels left from previous items and not updated! I get it! However I still don't wanna overpay if I don't have to, and I still have the right to ask about a price.

The clerk made me uncomfortable, I felt embarrassed for asking. I asked her if it was her job to argue with a customer, because without customers you don't have a business. I sank to her level and told her she didn't need to be an a$$hole and asked to speak to her manager. She said "I don't have one!" She then stated "OH if you wanna go there you can" as she laughed.

Maybe more training, because the whole situation was uncalled for.

Saddest part about this ordeal is lack of help across many States. Pretty sad that a customer should have to ask about price check constantly because of this very situation of not being able to update prices accordingly, because of being understaffed. I shouldn't have to overpay, and most definitely not be made to feel horrible about checking my prices because of labels not being updated.

In this case I read the wrong label, nonetheless I didn't complain and made the purchase. The whole ordeal was uncalled for!

Bad place to go bad parking lot here in the location where I live bad parking lot never fixed bumpy and cracked parking lot accidently dropped my phone now I need a new one cause the cart i was using got stuck on a piece of the busted parking lot so I pushed it over the bump and my phone fell from my hand and badly and deeply cracked my phone screen so now I may need a new phone due to their carelessness and feeling the need to not fox their parking lot for their customers I hope no one else here at the location where I live I hope no one else no other customer suffers the same fate I did today now I need to spend about $200 more dollars for a new phone

I was in there and the ladys just sat there talking about drama and i felt very unwelcome, i called to complain about how unprofessional theu were and the lady just said "okay thank you". They were very rude.

Service is not consistently friendly, as in sometimes I'm treated as though I'm an inconvenience. What this town really needs is a Dollar General! DG is a much better place to shop and better selection as well.

Service is hit or miss for the most part. Sometimes you are treated well, sometimes you are treated like an inconvenience. Selection of items is not the best. Personally, I wish Dickinson would get their own Dollar General. DG is a waaaay better store in every way possible...

Dirty Blonde heavier set cashier threw a fit And yelled at my family because she said she needed to count the water, I said that’s fine you can come on over and count it, there is 20 gallons if you don’t want to. Then claimed we “threw” our groceries at her because a can of ravioli fell over as we placed things in the counter. I talked to Tina a supposed manager I asked if she knew the owner she said no, She said the only thing she can do is talk to the cashier. The cashier would not give us her name.

Went in to get a few things and I had to use the bathroom...the note on the bathroom door said I had to find an employee to unlock the door...so I go to the register and ask if I really needed him to unlock the bathroom door and he acted like I was such an inconvenience so he got around to unlocking the door to a dirty, unflushed, nasty bathroom. The walls have yellow streaking stains from...I don't want to know...and the rude little boy was too busy outside smoking in front of customers sitting on the pavement in the parking lot. The one star is for the awesome lady who checked us out. She is a gem...promote her! She understands customer service and was so helpful and pleasant...total keeper!

Small parking lot,people rarely pay attention when they are backing up so be careful.Its best to just park on the side of the building. The place is ok inside,most of the time the workers are busy talking to each other instead of greeting customers and straighten up cloths and toys that are on the floor.

I'm disappointed in some of the staff here. They have the impression that they are not here for customer service, but give an attitude of extreme rudeness to everyone. If and when I shop here to pick up things when I'm too tired for elsewhere they talk to me very snippety when I ask questions and act like I'm a bother. But who I really felt sorry for was an older gentleman who had paid for his items had to wait for me, because the cashier moved on to my items before finishing her service with him. When he politely asked for them back she was very rude with attitude and barked in tone to tell him he had to wait until she was done with me to reach over and hand him his stuff. She had her name tag covered, so asked for her name and she refused. And redirected that he was being rude and looked at me as I was going to back her position. All have to say is wow! I wouldn't say a psych evaluation would be necessary for the family dollar, but maybe they should think about it here.
