Pretty cool hardware store, I have typically only come here because I am picking up or dropping off a Uhaul. But honestly it is an interesting store as well. They have. Lot of different paint supplies, a ton of hardware, and some tools. They do have stuff for upholstery which is very useful. They have those cheap grip tools normally displayed in the center of their store.those aren't the greatest, but they work for things like hammers and clamps. They have a display with a bunch of unique soda pop products. Staff seems helpful and friendly. They also carry Benjamin Moore paint, which in my opinion is the best paint there is bar none.

They had some good deals on FR clothing. The store was clean and orderly as always. Nice people greeted us coming and going. My main problem with this store is I always find something to buy that's not on my list.

Rented a truck & tow trailer from U-Haul in Bismarck but was told we had to drive to Dickinson to pick up our equipment. Almost 100 miles away. But it was worth it! The gentlemen at Macs Hardware were great. Very professional, friendly, and sufficient. We appreciate you guys at Macs Hardware in Dickinson,ND! And highly recommend Macs Hardware.

Sign says not your average hardware store and they are right. It takes a special store to charge that much more for the same things you can get less than 3 minutes away. Wonder why their parking lot is always so empty?

I go here everytime for my bolts, nuts, and washers due to having a very great selection of hard to find fasteners that fastenal would need to order.

I really don't know how Mac's is even still open, considering the stiff competition the local Menards and Runnings gives them. The staff is friendly at Mac's, though not always terribly knowledgeable about their products, I've found. I spent a good deal of time trying to look up prices for some of their upholstery products, and even the store manager had a heck of a time finding the item through his inventory system.

Their prices are fair--somewhere between Ace Hardware and Menards, I'd say--though the selection is pretty scant. They're known for their fasteners and upholstery offerings, though they do have a decent Dewalt tools selection (though not as great as Runnings in that department).

I hope they stay open as competition is good to have.

Passing through North Dakota to my new home in MN. My car broke down just outside town. The friendly staff helped me get setup with a uHaul and car carrier to get me on my way. They helped make a stressful situation much easier and I would totally be a return shopper if it was in my area. Thanks Mac's!

Went in to get some bolts, some guy was running the floor cleaning machine by the check out counter. I walked all the way back to the bolts and a couple minutes later while I was trying to find the hardware for my project this guy decides that the only place in the entire store that needs to be cleaned is the isle I was on. So I walked all the way around the hardware section and came back into the isle from the other direction and as soon as started walking up the isle he turned around to come right back at me. So I put everything down walked out of the store and went to Menards.

The price is at this store for fr material is priced way better than a lot of stores around it in Dickinson that have half of the selection and cost twice as much. I will be going to this store from now on
