The Cracker Barrel in North Canton was excellent, before my recent order.I usually order family dinners and it's always on time and hot and fresh. I tried the fried chicken and it was terrible, and I wouldn't recommend it. It was hard and cold and very unlike what I was used on my orders. I just wont order fried chicken again. I recently ordered the holiday dinner roast beef stew dinner (excellent). Unfortunately one of the best part of their dinners are the hot, freshly cooked biscuits. They thoroughly burner mine. I mean black burnt embarrassing should not of been put in an order food. But they did. Maybe running behind, or lack of help , i don't know, but i hope it doesn't happen again. I truly love most of their food, but this isbthe second big issue at this restaurant. I hope they straighten it out.

Unfortunately, I was there about lunchtime and I didn't get to eat anything. However, there was a Sale for Christmas items and I was able to purchase two items for less than the price of ONE! I bought the items then went to the desk to sign in for one person...me. I waited for about 10 minutes and still no table was available which was understandable because of the time I was there. I left without eating. But I had two really nice items! I've had a number of meals at Cracker Barrel and they have always been served as expected...very tasty 😋😋😋

Unfortunately, I had trouble finding a satisfying menu item. The only potato available is the hashbrown casserole and the choices are big and pricey. I’m sorry to say, Bob Evan’s has better and less expensive breakfast options. Our service was excellent and we did a little holiday shopping in the store. We will return but will skip the breakfast hours.

Our server was polite, attentive and had our food out fast. They were pretty busy but she got to use as quickly as she could, apologized for being busy and taking so long which was maybe 5 minutes after we sat down? Food was fantastic which it is every time I go. Love the breakfast as that is when I always visit but would love to try the lunch or dinner options as well as I'm sure it's just as good 😊

My Grandson loves the chicken fried steak and that is what he orders every time. If they have a new special l will try that. Sunday l had the shrimp and fries. The serving was large but l was disappointed that the shrimp were what l would call popcorn shrimp. We always get the fried pickles as an appetizer. They are addictive!

Cracker Barrel is always one of my favorite places to eat. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! When I die, I hope there is a Cracker Barrel in Heaven.

Cracker Barrel has gone to hell. They have clearly cheapened their food as nothing taste like it used to. Gone are the days of the southern taste they use to offer. Now everything is bland with no taste and as a result gone is my business! I will not spend my money at an establishment that cheapens out the quality of their food and expects to keep its customers.

The CB in Canton, Ohio is really tired looking. We were also surprised that on a chilly, rainy afternoon, that there was no fire in the fireplace. No manager came to our table throughout our visit, which is unusual for a CB. Food order was not correct (asked for crispy bacon and got the opposite). I was surprised that our server brought out a small empty plate and had me put the bacon on it so that she could get it crisped up (instead of just bringing out new bacon).

Unfortunately, I was there about lunchtime and I didn't get to eat anything. However, there was a Sale for Christmas items and I was able to purchase two items for less than the price of ONE! Saturday night dinner period, the restaurant was not remotely full, maybe half, but they were seating folks in only half the restaurant. We waited nearly an hour to get our food. We watched another family leave after having waited 30 minutes. Our waitress was super nice and apologetic for the wait time, but she wasn’t experienced enough to just start bringing out items like biscuits and cornbread or tend to our drinks well. It wasn’t like she was too busy serving other tables either or a shortage of staff; she just wasn’t trained well to know how to still tend to guests while the food is delayed. Once the food arrived, it was hot and great in taste; but as has become the case too often in our recent visits, the portion sizes, especially for the sides, are much smaller than they used to be. Very disappointing to see our beloved restaurant become cheap and petty with service and food portions, while getting more and more expensive with longer wait times.

Always love the food there. But this time was totally different. The waitress was not all that friendly to begin with . I ask for scramble eggs that are fluffy first time she brought my eggs to me they where flat as a pancake then the second time still was flat as a pancake which I didn't eat . My meal came with a Sausage patty that was nasty which I made my husband try it and he actually spit out because it was nasty too .
Never again will I ever order scramble eggs or there Sausage patties.

We believe this was one of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve ever had. I believe the manager constantly walking past yelling at the girls working the hostess stand. Took forever to get bread for the table, had to ask for it multiple times. Waiter was kind but horrible service. Forgot half the tables order. Once brought my sides out finally, still forgot one. My son was done with his steak and shrimp before he even got his sides, which his steak was well done, when we asked for medium rare. Once we got his sides, his baked potato was ice cold and hard. Took forever to get boxes and the bill to pay.

We had some of the worst service. My plate was hotter than my food. I got the country vegetable plate, my carrots were cold, my fried okra was cold and soggy and my dumpling had the film over them from sitting under the heat lamp to long. My husband got Diet Coke and she saw his glass was empty and just filled it up with unsweetened tea. She also refilled mine with unsweetened tea. We asked her what she just put in our glasses and she told us and we told her he had Diet Coke and I had sweet tea. She finally brought him a new diet but just left mine. She did not prebus at all and we were at a small table. They were not busy at all so this was totally unacceptable.

Our waiter didn't come out to take our drink order at all another waitress did and she claimed he is the only person who can make the plum tea correctly. I came back to see if I would receive better service and I didn't. Once our waiter came he never introduced himself was not friendly to us and was like you know what you want to order. He paid more attention to other customers. I still left a tip even though our food came out lukewarm.

We saw our waitress long enough to take our order. After receiving our coffee that she had to be reminded of it was cold no creamer. Our grilled chicken salad was lettuce tomatoes and chicken. My parents received the wrong food. The corn bread was a rock. We love Cracker Barrel unfortunately this was a horrible experience for us all.

Would give zero stars if i could to be honest
My fiancée has been working there since toward the end of August of 2024. Last week he was not on the schedule. He had called to try to get hours.

On Tuesday , October 22nd, I was running an errand and we only have one phone between us at the moment. Instead of Marsha the manager asking nicely to have him call back , she demanded I take the phone to him within the next half an hour. That was extremely rude so I took the phone to him and dropped what I was doing and took the phone to him. We had a very important court date Wednesday, October 23rd.

October 23rd and he asked if it was possible not to be scheduled that day. It was a very important day. I even got off of my job in short notice as well as long as I showed my papers as to why I had to be off.

Tuesday evening at around 5:15 I was on my way to take him to work and we got hit and run and the other party ran. We had waited 2 hours for the police to come . We got a report and description of the car etc. And after that we went to statcare to be seen. The manager working that night was notified multiple times. First time was we got in a hit and run. Second time we were waiting for the police. Third time we were told to go seek medical attention. So we drove to statcare and manager working that night was notified.
On Thursday , October 24th he was notified he was let go. He had a note to be off of work from the doctor October 22nd and October 23rd. He shouldn't even had been scheduled on Wednesday in the first place. He would have happily worked any other day due to our important courtdate that day.
Marsha has absolutely no compassion towards her employees. He has said multiple times about how he treats him but he just let it go.
Yesterday, October 29th he had waited on hold for over 15 minutes to talk to the manager Josh. He needed something showing he was terminated and he said he would get something for him and my fiancée said okay cool I'll be up there in a minute. Josh acknowledged he'd be up there.
We then headed up there and he patiently waited for a manager. The manager they called O jumped down his throat saying they have nothing there to show that he was terminated and he was in the room when Josh finally picked up the phone. I know businesses get busy and managers work as well. The way O came at him was completely crazy. Josh was professional adleast. He barely said much. We did indeed call and he talked to him. He said something about home office. He was saying he couldn't get to his paystubs or anything even before he was terminated and O said you can't get into it because you don't work here nomore . O wouldn't let my fiancée get one single word out. I never believed a job could treat one of their good employees with no respect, especially Marsha.

Because when she demanded she talk to him in the next half an hour last week on the 22nd , it kind of threw me off . I'm just waiting to hear from corporate. I've filled an online report out twice. I'm not rushing anyone to get back with me, but this situation needs handled please.

Called curbside and was answered by a corporate person i think then transferred me to the actual location, nobody answered so i went inside then someone took my order to my car while i was inside and by the time i had got my food it was cold. So I recently visited the Cracker Barrel in Canton, and let me tell you, I think I discovered the secret to their "home-cooked" meals: they’re actually designed for toddlers! My food came out looking like a sample platter from a kid’s menu. I was half-expecting a toy to come with it!

The fries? Oh boy. They were soggy and pasty—like they’d been swimming in a pool of regret. I took a bite and suddenly felt like I was chewing on a wet sponge. If I wanted a side of disappointment, I would have just ordered a plate of my ex’s excuses!

Now, the mac and cheese was the star of the show, but it seems like they were trying to keep it exclusive. I mean, there were only two bites of it! I was left wondering if my server had a mac and cheese quota to meet. "Sorry, sir, we’ve run out of mac and cheese; we only serve small portions to preserve its magic!"

All in all, if you’re looking for a place to leave feeling more hungry than when you walked in, Cracker Barrel in Canton is the perfect spot! Just remember to bring a snack or two—because unless you’re on a diet of disappointment, you’ll need it! 🍟🚫

They need better lighting in there as it is somewhat dark and it is a little difficult to read the menu effectively. Went to the North Canton Cracker Barrel for brunch with a party of 4. The food was good with ample portions. Only disappointment was the gravy for bisquits wasn't sausage gravy. Our server. Food was Good even if it took over an hour with no explanation from our server
We love Cracker Barrel so we will be back

Food is great but I believe my server must have been new because she didn’t do a very good job. Coffee was ice cold and 22 minutes for biscuits and gravy???

The last several times we have eaten here it has been a disappointment. This visit was no different. The menu is not straightforward with pricing, the food is below mediocre. The were given extremely dirty silverware. Our server claimed to be new. He needs better training or better listening skills. After speaking with the manager at checkout, he did make the necessary corrections with pricing but admitted we were not to first to complain about this issue. Note to corporate: fix your menu!

Service and quality of food has went down. This visit reminded me why I quick going here. Workers stand around visiting instead of waiting on customers while manager walks around doing nothing.

Our waitress was phenomenal!!! She literally brightened our day. We had what we needed before we could ask for it. You never know how much a good lunch will affect the rest of your day…so thankful we stopped. We will be back!

Wait was long but it was on a Sunday afternoon. My food arrived barely warm but was tasty. Our young waiter was wonderful.

I was very disappointed this visit. I wanted fried chicken and wasn't able to get it because they were out. So went with chicken tenders which were tough as rawhide. I also ordered fries, a sweet potato and carrots. Everything except the fries were cold! I sent the sweet potatoes back and ask them to fix it. When brought back it was still raw and cold. I asked for a box and asked the waitress to have the cook to check the potatoes, they are not cooked enough. No compensation was made. I was there for my birthday. Not happy.

We had an amazing server Lux I think was her name. She was on top of things. The food was great. As always I love going to cracker barrel. They have the neatest and best stuff ever.

I dined in on Sunday, evening, Sept. 8. The roast beef was tough and fatty, the hashbrown casserole had uncooked, crunchy hashbrown in it. The coffee was luke warm, but the okra was perfect.
