Today Waggoner chocolates chose to break the law and not allow a trained service dog into their store. My friend and I had just been to a local restaurant and Sam's club where her service dog was allowed with no problem. My friend had to sit in her car and hold her dog for support before she drove home because
she was so upset her ptsd flared after going back in the store to make a purchase and to hear staff and visitors saying her dog was not a legitimate service dog. Her dog IS a trained service dog. This is her 3rd service dog and she is a military veteran. Her dogs are always well trained. I prefer Heggy's chocolates myself, so I won't have any problems never buying your candy.

Ada law:

Under the ADA, a service animal is simply a dog that is individually trained to perform tasks or do work for the benefit of a person with a disability. (In some cases, a miniature horse may also qualify as a service animal under the ADA.) The tasks or work the animal does must be directly related to the person's disability

The Ohio Administrative Code defines public accommodations to include any place that offers accommodations, facilities, or advantages to the public. It lists many types of establishments that fit the bill, from hotels, restaurants, and stores to insurance companies, hospitals, skating rinks, and video arcades.

An establishment may not ask you detailed questions about your disability or your animal. However, the establishment may ask if your animal is a service animal, and which tasks the animal is trained to perform.

I would give negative stars is I could!
1st off I was told my Service Dog was not allowed in the store. He is a Certified Service Dog covered under ADA. 2nd after putting him in the car I went back in to grab something & the clerk was talking with customers about how they knew he wasn't a Service Dog because he is a Siberian Husky. Seriously! How rude and demeaning can a store be? I will NOT be back.

I went to four different candy stores while on a trip to Cleveland. This is by far the best of all of them. The lady who helped me was great I was really pleased with the selection at the counter as well as the individual pieces that they had wrapped along the wall. I could grab what I wanted and put it in a bag. It was better than having 10 pieces sealed in a bag, getting home realizing that its not as good as you thought it would be. I had tasted their candy before when my sister order a few different pounds from this store a few years ago. It was really good. Being able to go to the store in person and pick exactly what you wanted was even better. I visited this store on Nov. 7, 2022 and it was beautifully decorated with Christmas items everywhere. I will make it a point to visit this store again even though its 4 hours away from where I live In Michigan.

I ordered 4lbs MVP box and it was suppose to include 4 additional empty giftable boxes to allow us to give mini Waggoner Chocolates gifts, so disappointed NOT to recieve what was hyped as part of presentation by owner himself. I give yummy gifts to mail carrier, groomer, UPS drivers and bus drivers. The Waggoner Chocolates mini boxes I thought would've made it xtra special to see.

I purchased 2 items from SHOPHQ and was concerned about getting them in this Arkansas spring heat wave. Well they were packed with ice packs and arrived PERFECT. Their milk chocolate sea salt caramels are out of this world!! They are delicious!! The best I've ever had. The caramel is on the thicker side but it pairs perfectly with the milk chocolate and sea salt. You can't eat just one they're that wonderful!

They have the best pecan delight. This time my candy melted after they chg $6.00 for icepaks.. When I called she said take a picture..That wasn't helping me cause the candy was just one big piece..I have been buying it for several years..But NEVER AGAIN $75.00 or more down the drain..

I recently received Waggoner Chocolate by mail. Was received in during hot summer. Box arrived securely packed packed with gel packs to prevent melting. I am impressed. No melt down great tasting chocolate saved. Will buy again.

I am truly impressed with Waggoner. I needed a product quickly and the store went above and beyond to make sure I could get what I needed in a pinch. Plus the chocolate was amazing. I would recommend them to anyone who needs chocolates for a business. They also offer large quantities of their buckeyes which I have learned is hard to come by in North Eastern Ohio. I would give them 6 starts if possible!!

I love to shop locally and support small businesses. I found that Wagner’s stands by its slogan stating that it is distinguished. I found this to be the case not only in quality of chocolate but in customer service as well. This is truly a family operated business. The owners sister-in-law was there volunteering to help operations during the holiday traffic. They allowed me to sample items that I just wasn’t quite sure I would like. I tried a delicious milk chocolate with basil truffle that was out of this world. As well as a habanero truffle filled with caramel that melted in my mouth. I purchased a few holiday items and definitely will be back.

I purchased my first box of Key Lime creams from Evine on TV.
He sold it as a Christmas collection in a beautiful gold and black box.
When it was delivered, it was a plain white cardboard box.
I was extremely disappointed!!!

I purchased peanut clusters for 12.99 a pound. The worst candy ever, the chocolate tasted old,and in every piece were rotten, awful, and small peanuts. Next time I will go to Marcs and pay 4.99 a pound for not bad or a rotten peanut candy. How can you sell candy with bad nuts? I do not know how you stay in business. I will never buy your candy again. I will not be recommending this candy to anyone,quite the opposite.

My brother had a four pound box of assorted, individually wrapped chocolates sent to my mother's house in PA. I just so happened to be visiting and now I must order my own! Best chocolate ever! Coconut clusters, raspberry creams, raisin clusters, salted caramels, marshmallows, pretzels, and many more flavors and combos. BEST EVER ! Time to get back to ordering. Really, I used to be a big fan of Russell Stover but I couldn't believe the value for the money with this company. My new FAV company for chocolate. What a nice gift!

I found theses at my local book store. The entire family voted them the best chocolates they had ever eaten. They were individually wrapped which is a huge plus with young children who like to sort through the bowl. I intend to get them again as soon as I figure out a way. The book store sadly closed :(....
