A Memorable Visit to ORC

A dear friend, WHO I HAVEN’T SEEN IN FOREVERRR, recommended I check this place out—and I’m so glad I did! The space was spotless, well-organized, and fully stocked, with employees buzzing around like busy bees, offering gracious and supremely helpful service.

I walked in unprepared, having forgotten my glasses, which made reading the menu a challenge. There were two people ahead of me in line, but the process was so efficient that it was my turn before I even noticed! I’d initially planned to get something fruity and fresh, but squinting and not wanting to hold up the line, I quickly made my choice:

> Banana bread sounds good. Large.

This is where I discovered what makes ORC unique:

Oat milk, for the uninitiated, is a creamy, plant-based, lactose-free option that’s rich in fiber, low in saturated fat, and environmentally sustainable. It’s perfect for heart health, digestion, and dietary needs, and I’ve never been mad at oat milk—especially as a former Starbucks manager who loved soy options but always appreciated oat’s versatility.

With my drink order placed, I explored the space further. To the left of the register, I found fresh ice water—a nostalgic delight as someone who grew up loving it as a “poor kid’s” beverage. I poured myself a couple of glasses and enjoyed a friendly chat with the barista in between orders.

Then, I spotted the Gelato. A self-proclaimed connoisseur from my university days frequenting a downtown gourmet chocolate shop, I wasn’t too shy to ask for samples. Of the six wells, only four were in use due to refrigeration issues, offering flavors of chocolate, mint, cheesecake, and cinnamon.

> Gelato: Denser, creamier, and smoother than regular ice cream, thanks to less air, more milk than cream, and lower fat content, delivering intense flavor and a luxurious texture.

I opted to sample the mint—good quality, though fresh mint always hits differently. The cheesecake flavor, featuring crushed graham crackers and fruit compote, was a hit, with the barista enthusiastically sharing stories of NYC and authentic baked cheesecake. Intrigued by the cinnamon flavor, I started a conversation about texture, only to be handed another sample—smooth and grit-free, earning full marks.

My coffee was ready, so I grabbed it, added a little half-and-half for drinking temp, and poured some over ice for a later treat. With sleek yet festive holiday décor and the barista’s warm hospitality, this visit was a true "treat yo self" moment. Next time, I’m definitely trying the food!

This is a phenomenal coffee shop in the area. Perfect for remote working on your laptop, with reliable wifi, numerous outlets and great seating with tables, indoor & outdoor options, and even some comfy chairs and bar style.

The coffee itself is high quality with a fun menu and friendly staff to take your order.

Highly recommend for your studying, working, and relaxing needs!

Really nice and spacious coffee shop with lots of great specialty flavors and even gelato! Plenty of seating to work or relax from. The service was nice and friendly and they did a great job on the latte art. The place is clean with a modern vibe and very well decorated.

I got the salted caramel white chocolate mocha latte with oat milk and my wife got the cinnamon roll latte with oat milk. They both surprisingly tasted really great and I was shocked that flavor combination actually works. Whoever set up this place really knows what they’re doing because it ticks all the boxes for a wonderful coffee shop experience!

My partner and I, after many long visits to this coffee shop almost every single day, can safely say that this is a wonderful place to spend time at. I am always beyond comfortable here. I never feel judged or uncared for. The baristas all make our drinks slightly differently, adding their own little flair whether they recognize it or not. We have easily spent well over $300 here all together between visits, and I'm not even mad about it. I LOVE this place, and intend on coming as often as possible (that my finances will allow). Please NEVER close. This is absolutely our favorite place to be. I feel honored to be a regular here!

If I could give this place 100 stars, I would. I’ve been coming here about once a week for about a year now and I have yet to be dissatisfied. They’re always improving the customer experience and offering new menu items. The customer service is top notch, as the baristas are always so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is calming and very warm. I’m always greeted at the drive thru window with a smile and small conversation. The quality of the coffee is outstanding and is well worth the price over any chain coffee place. Their seasonal drinks are incredible; especially the fall drinks. By far the best coffee place i’ve ever visited. love y’all <3

We come here to work almost everyday and despite the healthy flow of customers it’s a great place to plug in and focus. The baristas are extremely nice, establishment is very clean and their coffee is the best in Canton by far. Highly recommend 🥳

When I went for the first time on a Wednesday evening, Eve was the batista. She is helpful and friendly. I tried to get her advise on the most chocolate drink they had. She made me one thing and it really wasn't what I wanted so she made me something else. It was pretty good but still not exactly what I wanted. She suggested next time getting a cappuccino with mocha sauce. So, that's what I will do. The chocolate chip cookie 🍪 was good. She warmed it up for me. I inhaled it! Took a brief look around since they have a bean roasting machine in house. All in all, the service was excellent, facilities clean and you can sit down anywhere and hang out! I will be back!

We came down last weekend and boy was it busy. We got the white mocha blueberry drink I believe it was. It was super good. Even though there was a huge line the workers bust the orders out right away. If I had to say one thing that needs work is when calling out a order sat it a little louder. It gets so crowded some drink did sit there cause people couldn't hear their names besides that great job. Look forward to coming back down.

Menu has a wide range of food items and drinks, even ice cream! I think anyone could find something they like here, even if you don't love coffee or other standard coffee shop drinks. There's also tons of seating inside and outside, so it's a great place to get work done or meet with a friend if you need a change of scenery. I love their lavender matchas!

I’ve only been here once, but I got a small iced cinnamon roll latte with cold foam. It was the best latte I’ve ever had. Usually I drink half of my coffee and give it to someone else, but I drank every last sip. I also tried a hot pumpkin chai latte, it was yummy (and a little spicy, but I feel like that indicates good quality). My friend got a matcha and some kind of spinach pastry, which she loved. We also stayed from 3 to close, we didn’t notice until minutes before but the workers were super kind and chill about it. It’s a great place to grab a bite and talk for hours! I’m definitely coming back!

Update: I come here all the time now, I look forward to visiting everytime I’m in the area! This is the only coffee shop that has always left me satisfied!

If something is going to have cold foam, please state that on the menu. As a vegan, I don’t consume any dairy. I asked for oat milk in my drink which ended up having cold foam anyways when it was done, making it undrinkable for me. I’ve been here before and it was really good, so this was just disappointing. I spent $8 just to throw it in the trash can.

This coffee shop is a great local place to meet up with friends and grab a drink. I personally love their hot lattes and enjoy the seasonal drinks. The reason I give four stars is because I have tried to work here sometimes and it is very loud. It's cool they roast the beans on site but the process is very loud and can be distracting during the day. Their wifi is also a hit or miss so I don't recommend working here if you have any calls scheduled.

As a coffee lover, this modern take on a roastery is enticing! The offerings for bagged coffee beans is excellent and the flavor top notch. My wife and I enjoyed the "Luck of the Irish Latte" today and it was delicious, but not over sweet. This store really landed the concept and marketing. I wish them continued success and am grateful for a roastery in the community!

Take conveniently being located next to me away, and I swear they’re never not busy!!! Now that I got your attention. I’m very stubborn on a lot of things and I use to be that guy that said “I’ll never get coffee somewhere a lot or every day.”.. and I tell ya what- Ohio roasting co put some boujee in my bones, or it’s literally just THAT GOOD. Wow, this place really exceeded expectations! I wish I lived closer, I'd probably stop in every morning!

I'm in the area for work, decided to pass on the boxed eggs and industrial grade coffee at the hotel. Stopped in for breakfast.
Americano was perfect.
Had the pepper jack stack sandwich, that was awesome.
Can't really believe how good the prices were.

Building is nice, clean and bright. Lots of seating inside. Service was quick.
I will be making this a required stop anytime i am in the area!

Another great Ohio Roasting Company experience. The breakfast sandwich was hot and melty. The hashbrowns were toasty, not greasy. They really have it down with the iced maple brown sugar oat latte and the iced coconut pistachio latte. There is no other coffee shop in the area that serves up this menu or atmosphere. It really is a local gem!

Great coffee, great employees, and a really cool place to work - but the Wi-Fi is so atrocious, and phone service so bad in this area of North Canton, it's virtually impossible to work here. They really need to work on there network if they want people to work here. This was the case for me when I came last year as well, and people I bring to work with me. Likely will not frequent here ever again until someone tells me the network is better lmao

The espresso was sharp, astringent and unpleasant which contrasted the rather bland batch brew, and my compatriot had to wait 10 minutes for his pourover (which was much better than my 2 drinks). Considering that the batch brew comes from an $8000 machine and the $14000 pourover machine is literally automatic, this was a disappointing visit. I would go back to give it another chance.

Today was my first time coming here, and I'm honestly extremely disappointed especially for spending $34.
I asked if they had the habanero jam to take home so that we can try it, they said they are completely out of it but yet ask me if I was getting the sandwich it came with. I had informed them no and that's when they told me they were sold out. I asked for a bag to carry my sandwiches and hash browns out they told me they don't have those either. So I had to carry out three drinks and three little baggies of food. I had asked for directions on the menu and received no information as I was unfamiliar with their drinks. It was just extremely unprofessional environment, which is disappointing as I get coffee daily and was wanting something new

definitely disappointed. With all the coffee shops out there, I was hoping to avoid the typical commercialized drink. Unfortunately, they seem unable to understand a simple order and want to up charge for a little things like asking for light ice. I always find that if you’re unwilling to fill my cup short of putting in a full cup of ice, that you’re only in it for the dollar signs and not for pleasing a customer. That’s my overall experience. Definitely not there for the customer.

**edit - to the company's response: I visited once and only once. Google reviews exist to offer consumers views and to discuss their experience with a company. Your response and attack on my character speak volumes for what your company values are. You absolutely upcharge for light ice - and your employee advised me while ordering that this was the case. I wrote a review from what I experienced. I am not obligated to give 5 stars because you're an independent small business. But honestly? If I would've considered offering your company a second chance, your behavior here put the nail in the coffin.

Tried this place for the first time today, and wow! Great stuff. I had a black coffee. It was great. My fiancé had one of the energy drinks and really enjoyed it. On top of that, they had made an extra raspberry iced coffee and gave it to us for free. It was also good! The best part of this place, wasn’t the quality product. It was the service. Absolutely fantastic, and I will return for that if nothing else. If you haven’t tried this place, drive past Dunkin or Starbucks, and pull on in!

I was visiting Ohio for the first time and needed some coffee for the rest of my road trip returning back to Pennsylvania. I stopped in and was greeted with smiles and a welcoming hello, the cashier was the newest employee but she still got me checked out very fast and easy. Waited only a few short minutes for my coffee even though there was a line before I had ordered, every customer was served before me and walked out with a smile. I then met the owners of the establishment and talked for a while and it felt like I’ve known them for a while, conversation was very friendly and they showed me their bagging process and told me about their beans origins. If I ever come back to Ohio I will surly be stopping back in for another delicious experience . Anyone and everyone who loves coffee i implore you to stop in and try their delicious coffee, non-coffee drinks, and food.

Great coffee and other drinks. Nice place to sit and do some work. Plenty of table space even on the weekend when it's busy.

Everything is great. Just please stop overfilling cups to the point that they explode liquid everywhere. This happens on cold drinks when you put the straw in, and on hot drinks whenever they're tilted even slightly. My car is covered in spill spots even if I never take the cup out of the cup holder.

This goes especially for teas, they're served at a literally boiling temperature and have scalded my thighs just as I drive with them in the cup holder next to me.

Our large group was treated with excellent service. Ohio roasting staff accommodated us with our own room. Everyone one of us ordered a specialty drink which would normally overwhelm a small staff, but Alexa, Gavin and Jake made each drink in a timely manner and exactly to order. We were very impressed.

Best coffee, lattes & breakfast bites around!! Drinks are always well made and the staff is kind. The shop is busy, being the only downfall - finding seating is sometimes a challenge and loud if you’re planning to get some work done.

Sehr schön, dass am Memorial Day offen war! Der Kaffee schmeckte vorzüglich, schwarzen Tee hatte es leider keinen mehr (wie kann das passieren?). Schade, dass der Oatmeal nicht frisch zubereitet wird, sondern einfach mit warmer Milch im abgepackten Becher serviert wird.

I absolutely love this place. Amazing coffee quality! Cute latte art, not bitter, and the micro foam is perfect. The atmosphere is clean, comfortable, and. aesthetically pleasing. The baristas, managers, and owners are all so kind. They have gone out of there way to bring my coffee to my table several times. There’s an outside patio if you like to be outdoors. The bistros taste amazing. I’m definitely a harsh critic when it comes to proper operations, customer delight, and employee care, but I am very impressed with this place. I believe they will continue to grow and I’m looking forward to it!

They seemed very busy, but were very quick getting our order together. Tried the Maple Oat Latte and the Peach Iced Green Tea Lemonade - both were excellent. The food and gelato looked good too. Plenty of seating inside. Cool to be there to see them roasting beans.

The facility is really nice and a great clean environment. The staff isn't super friendly but that's okay. The food and drinks were really good!

This is at least the second time this has happened. When I am handed my large latte, I think to myself it seems a little light. Today was one of those days so I took the lid off before even taking a sip and there is about an inch of empty cup. If I wanted a medium coffee, I would have paid for a medium coffee. I know there is foam that goes on top but not an inch high?! Yes the coffee tasted really good but if I order a large drink I should get a FULL large cup.

Best coffee spot in North Canton. Great drink selection (nitro cold brew is fun) and very friendly baristas. Lot's of seating inside but it does get very busy in the afternoons and evenings. Drive thru is a nice option when it is busy or you are in a hurry.

First timer!! The pistachio rose matcha was recommended to me by the super nice girl working there. It was sooo good! I've never had anything like it! I was a bit nervous because I'm not a big fan of rose flavor....but it was amazing. The flavors were so light and delicate.... and creamy. It had just the right amount of ice too. I didn't even have to say light ice. I felt like they are so respectful of the customer and the customer's pocketbook by giving the customer the full drink that they paid for..... not just a full cup of ice like Starbucks does, with 3.5 sips of matcha. I will drive out of my way to get my matchas from the Ohio Roasting Company. If you've never been there before run.... don't walk (or just drive) there ASAP. It's modern and cozy inside.
P.S. They also make and sell gelato..... I got a sample of the biscotti and it was so good!

Best coffee shop in canton! I love their cappuccinos, and their breakfast sandwiches. I recently had a iced matcha from there and it was perfect! They also have the best gelato in town! Definitely check it out. They have something for everyone 😊

I’m a coffee drinker. I don’t drink those “foo-foo” drinks, iced coffee or any of that. Just good ol’ strong coffee. So far, every coffee shop in the area serves brown water, in my opinion. None of it remotely passes as coffee. Then I stopped in to ORC. I expected the same coffee dissatisfaction, that I’ve been experiencing everywhere else. I was more than pleasantly surprised! Finally! A coffee shop that actually serves coffee! My new go to place from here on out!

I asked for a large coffee, the strongest they had and that’s just what I got. A hot, strong but smooth, rich cup of coffee. Excellent!

I can’t speak to any of the other drinks they serve, but if had to guess, based on my coffee. I would say all the other drinks are very good as well.

If you’re like me and you enjoy a good, strong cup of coffee here’s your place to get just that!

One of my favorite spots in town! My husband and I come here at least once a week. They have so much variety and I look forward to their seasonal specials. For spring, they introduced an iced matcha with pistachio rose cold foam. This may be my favorite drink I’ve ever had! The staff is always friendly and so helpful!

A wonderful coffee shop in Canton. Not only do they have a wide variety of drinks and breakfast sandwiches, but they also serve gelato. If you have never tried an affogato, this is the place to do it. The staff is friendly, there is plenty of seating, and the numerous windows flood in natural light. If you're in a hurry, they also have a drive through.

Finally got to try this place. The girl who took my order and cashed me out in the drive through was a patient gem. The brownie (which i started eating before I took a photo) was delicious. Warm, soft, and goooooooey! I tried the salted caramel white mocha macchiato with an extra shot of espresso. So good! Flavorful but not too sweet.
