Friendly staff, but I wasn't sure what the job of the girl by the doors was - she wasn't a great greeter and was not very enthusiastic or knowledgeable. The rest of the staff was great - very friendly and helpful. Caroline checked me out and was very polite, friendly and had just the right amount of conversation.
They had exactly what I wanted and on sale it made the price closer to what I was willing to spend.

I ordered Garland on Black Friday when it was in stock. They then canceled the order. The following weekend It said they had it at the North Canton Location, so I ordered it again.... Yet again it was canceled because they didn't have any in stock even though it said online it was in stock. The following weekend it said online that had over 40 in stock at the North canton location, so I ordered them... I received an email the items including the garland was ready for pick up. When I arrived at the store all they had was 1 of my items none of which were the garland. I called into the store and the lady said they probably have it, but it would be in a box in the back, and they can only pull orders from what is on the floor. After this I of course was not happy they probably have it in the store but canceled my order! Also, each time I placed an order they put a hold on my account that didn't get released for a week!!!!! I called into corporate, and they told me they will escalate the issue and have someone email me in 4-5 business day about my issue. They will also email my bank and let them know to release the hold. Well, it has been 2 days, and I reached out to my bank and Joann's never sent them an email to release the funds on hold. I have spent hours on hold with Joann's corporate. If you don't want to waste your time or money, I suggest you stay away from Joann Fabrics!

I only try to get the bare necessities here. I've been sewing for 40+ years. The mark up is crazy. I have shopped in the L.A garmet district, and have seen the same fabrics for a quarter of their prices. These buy 2 get 1 free is a joke, at our expense.

Update: I was frustrated trying to use the app that kept giving an error that my order could not be processed. Tonight was the last night of the sale. I went to the store and the items were $3 cheaper ordering on line. I showed my phone to the cashier and showed it wouldn't process and bless their hearts they have me the cheaper price. THANK YOU! That is great customer service!

A very very nice girl helped me with my cricket purchase. Made sure I had what I was looking for. Store is clean and I only waited in line a few minutes
Update!!! Was just in again this weekend and had such a nice lady help me with my fabric pic and measurements fir my project. Even went in the back to see if she could find me something else for my project.

We were able to find the fabric we needed. But stood at the fabric counter for about 15 minutes as employees ignored us.... I finally had to beg to get our fabric cut. Disappointed in the customer service.

Lots of great deals, but the store lay out is a bit confusing. Not enough riding carts, many older and disabled people find enjoyment in crafts, but can't physically handle walking through the store. Suggest getting more of those carts.

Last night I took my 9 year old daughter to this location to buy all her craft supplies. She's making a wolf head that can fit over her own head. She knows exactly what she needs but just hasn't mastered the measurements. She needed a ton of different colored fabrics, foam, buckram (never even heard of this), and I have never crafted a thing in my life so wasn't much help. Marjorie took her time with my daughter and had so much patience. She was very helpful and friendly. In my 46 years Marjorie had the best customer service I've ever seen. 5 stars for Marjorie at the North Canton location!

Went in for plain wooden picture frames that can be artistically decorated. The selection was small but I found some other really cute ideas. The selection of tshirts for crafty ideas is amazing with great prices. As usual, bought more than I came in for!

I used to go here to purchase extra chunky yarn for blankets I make but today when I went in it was all gone and replaced with smaller kinds. There were 5 other people in there also looking and complaining because it's gone. People who work there are helpful and the store is very clean but I'm sad they got rid of what I was using.

I was just there last week and they are seriously short staffed. I couldn't find anyone to help me find something and when I finally did she sent me to the wrong area. The all purpose threads had no price displayed. When I asked about a particular type of fabric the "help" I got was "did you look over there"? (point) The selections are nice, the layout is nice but it was a miserable experience for me.

Inventory is decent. Employees need some serious training on helpfulness and friendliness across the board. Have been here numerous times and it's always the same problem. Doubtful that I will be returning. Being a previous 15yr retail Mgr., this was never acceptable. A smile, kind word and ask people who are paying you, (customers) if you can help them, goes along way and keeps the doors open.

There are always tons of options and the store is super clean. However, the a lot of the prices are so expensive compared to other stores. And I seem to have trouble finding certain colors of fabrics often. And staff being polite is hit or miss. Some are very helpful and some talk down to you like they know everything.

An employee in the back seemed very rude and annoyed when I was waiting for her, she was talking to what I assume was another customer. I wanted to ask where something was, and when she stopped talking to see what I wanted, she totally made me feel like I was an inconvenience. But I appreciated that one of the other employees at the register gave me a coupon. Saved me a few bucks.

Whoa just left this store with my daughter & won’t be back! Some cashier who clearly could have cared a less about me standing there, rang me up wrong. The total seemed too high so I pointed it out & she said it was fixed. But after I left, I noticed the total was wrong again. So I went back in to point out that I was charged wrong again. She didn’t even care or apologize or even notice me! We’ll be happy to spend our money elsewhere!

I absolutely love Joann fabrics! They have everything you need for crafting and diy-ing. If you've never been I highly recommend you paying them a visit. A little pricey on some items but most of the time they have sales/ coupons and they take competitors coupons too. They are rearranging their store. Excited to see how it looks finished!

I was disappointed. They had an enormous amount of flowers and stems which is great. They were having a sale and it's the first time I've been there for years. But otherwise the store really needs a makeover and cleaned up. It just seemed to lack anything that would make me want to go back.
