Absolutely the worst pharmacy I've ever experienced. Meds are never in. If you need a pre authorization forget about it.. they don't notify the Dr office and when you call them out on it they lie. Saying we tried once.. in 8 days.. then tried filling it with a generic one that wasn't the Dr prescription DAW. Pullef up at the drive thru at 1:29 .
They went to lunch and didn't even say anything... unreal.. Currently looking for a decent pharmacy since this one does not want to do their job.

Personally, I love the meals to go they offer. I usually get the 3 piece chicken combo with two sides. The brussel sprouts they serve are on another level to me. They serve two types though, a roasted type I think. Not the greatest in my opinion. Cheese potatoes are on point, The Mac and cheese is also Muy Bien!~
I definitely recommend the sides. They also have fried chicken, baked chicken, and fried fish.

The Sushi is good. I'm no connoisseur, but I do enjoy the options they provide.

As for the shopping experience though. It's grocery store. The usual experience albeit expensive at times.

There is a new self checkout area next to the entrance of the store, as well as a system that lets you add items as you shop (similar to Sam's Club Scan and Go). Produce is pretty fresh and there are deals to be had if you look. There's a small cafe area to eat and the smell of fried/rotisserie chicken is always pleasant.

Giant Eagle has a lot of variety to choose from but their prices are a little higher too. This location is one of the nicer Giant Eagle stores in the area. The area seems safer. The parking lot is well lit.

HORRIBLE checkout experience. The unfriendly checkout person with a nose ring pointed for me to move the cart. I thought it was going to scan my water LIKE ALWAYS HAPPENS. Instead it barked for me to scan it. OK I don't do self-checkout or go to cheap stores so I am not doing that again.

Not a single cashier working. Every register is a self checkout yet they dont give you a discount for doing the cashiers job. I guess thats 1 less store that will get my money. Damn lucky I didnt just leave everything at the register.

Gotta watch the checkout's pricing; not all advertised items ring up at sale price. Manager discounted signs & vendor special prices are high risk for omission. Otherwise, store has great bakery items, fresh produce & meat dept. Priced better than NC Acme.

Not enough cashiers or help in the isles. Especially if you go early in the morning that is supposed to be for the elderly and disabled. They did not have enough stocked for Easter and when you walk in there are no carts. Better to go to Washington Square!

Im not from the area and blindly ordered a cake for my friends birthday with just a rough idea of a theme. Jackie freaking ran with it and dominated. Her decorating skills could be in a private bakery. 10/10 Ask for Jackie.

I ordered a cake online for my daughter's birthday party. When I went to pick the cake up the guy in the bakery could not find it. After a few minutes of searching he eventually found an order form. The issue was that someone wrote the correct date but incorrect say if the week on it and placed it in the wrong days orders.
He apologized and assured me the manager would come and take care of this. The manager was very apologetic and asked when the party was. The party was an hour and a half from this time. She called a cake decorator in on her off day, they got the cake made, delivered to my house and didn't even charge me for the cake. My daughter was so thrilled to have her unicorn and mermaid cake for her birthday. They truly went above and beyond. They exemplified what customer service is. I'm am so grateful for that sweet manager!!

My favorite store is Washington square. Its the nicest store and normally has the nicest people working there, compared to the other stores, which are closer to where I live.

During the pandemic, they were great. If you made a curbside order, they had everything in stock, now? NOTHING is EVER in stock AND I'VE ORDERED EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK. I just did an order in which 40% of my order was not in stock. When they asked to substitute with items, I said yes and I did not get the substituted items. Other stores in the area seem to have items in stock, so don't give me the whole supply chain issue garbage. Even the Giant eagle at the strip has all the food they advertise. This is getting to be pathetic and now they're having you pay tips? So I'm paying tips but I'm not getting 50% of my items. Plus the store has been really dirty lately and I can't believe that it has gone downhill so fast.....SAD

Purchasing fish is next to impossible. Everytime I walk back to get something they are "not there" it's ridiculous. This has happened repeatedly over a few months. Time of day? Doesn't matter, day of the week? Doesn't matter. Horrid management over sees that department, that is plain as the noon day sun. Get your acts together and, I don't know...do your job

This location is pretty good. Staff for the most part are friendly and helpful. You do have the occasional crowd and when the crowds are in the store I am pretty certain brains are in the lost and not found bin. With that said, prices are fine. If you purchase the Giant Eagle (GE) brand stuff you can keep spending pretty low. Believe it or not the GE brand stuff is pretty good (except for a select few items; i.e. baked beans are not good). Layout of the store is great and plenty of room.
