Absolutely Outstanding Catering Service!

I recently used Pickleman’s in Norman, OK, to cater sandwiches for our team meetings over two days, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and stress-free, thanks to the incredible Stephanie Baker, the Catering Coordinator.

Stephanie went above and beyond to ensure our order was perfect. Not only did she satisfy our initial request, but she also showed remarkable flexibility when I had to make a last-minute change. Her professionalism and dedication truly stood out, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable.

We ordered 2 pizzas and cheese bread and it was disgusting! The pizza was doughy like it wasn't cooked all the way and the cheese bread was hard as a rock, couldn't even eat it. I called and talked to a "manager" and all he could say was" sorry you didn't like the food but that's how all of our pizzas are cooked". They also give you an add on of ranch dressing and charge you $2.00 for it when you didn't even ask for it! He then proceeded to tell me that I have to call back tmrw and can only get a refund for the ranch dressing. He never offered for us to bring the food back and make new ones after I asked him what a resolution would be. This is the 2nd time ordering from them and the 1st time was about a year ago and the food was amazing. This time it was disgusting and the pizzas were smaller than what they used to be as well. I couldn't went somewhere else for $40 and had a full meal. Now I have to go to the store and buy food and spend more money and cook something, which was the whole reason why we ordered pizza to begin with. We will never order from here again!

the employees working at 10:00pm on august 25th 2024 were the best employees i've ever encountered. friendly, welcoming, accommodating, ive honestly never experienced better customer service. food was quick and DELICIOUS but it was these employees alone that ensured my return to this establishment. This night will live on in my head and the treatment i received makes me VERY likely to recommend to others. I will be sure to bring my family and friends when i come back!!

I finally tried this place!! Nathan and Gordon (?) you guys are hands down the best!! Long story short...at an unfamiliar work address,used location button, located me a house over. Not knowing I tracked my order,seen it was delivered, called store to let them know I think it was delivered to the wrong address. Delivery guy is most awesome, told me he had took a pic of where he had taken it,as the neighbor nodded as if it were their order. These guys were over understanding!!! I can't thank you guys enough for understanding and coming right back out literally!! Ooh, and the pickles!! I definitely see why they are called Pickleman's!! They are to die for.

i used to frequent here as a customer for about 8 years. used the app and everything! but tonight after a shift at my day job i decided to do some doordashing and i regret even stepping foot into this building. i received two orders at around 8-8:30 PM on 8/14/24 for 3 sandwiches (2 sandwiches on the first, and the 3rd on the second) and was helped by johnny in the restaurant. when the first order was finished i made sure to try to respectfully specify that there were two orders under the same name while i was being handed the first bag (this first bag also did NOT have a receipt attached! how fun!) but before i could even finish my sentence johnny rudely spoke over me and said “it’s all in the bag” when it actually wasn’t! :D after i submitted the image of the receipt-less bag my customer realized that i was only given one of their orders which meant they had to call me so i could go BACK into the store to correct this mistake. and it gets better, the second order wasn’t even made in the first place! after being called by my customer i walked in and was wondering why i didn’t receive the two orders after attempting to specify. instead of just getting an explanation i watched johnny stare at a receipt for two minutes. once i spoke up i was once again cut off by johnny very abruptly and rudely and was told it would be a second. at this point i’ve been here for about 15 minutes which is odd since 2 of the sandwiches were only BLTs. i didn’t know they were hard to make! nor did i know a second was 8 minutes either! there were only 2 other customers in the store (1 in a booth, and 1 waiting for their order by the beverages) and the staff were just chatting it up the whole time so i’m honestly impressed by the laziness and lack of work ethic. the quality of this establishment has dramatically flipped and it shows.

Sandwiches are tiny and the staff can t figure out how to make them. Pizza toppings are unique here; be prepared to show pictures of how things are supposed to look. Better off going to firehouse or papa John s. Youll pay $50 to feed 3.

Let me be quick and frank. I ve never tried Pickleman s, it was a spur of the moment decision because our usual place was closed (10pm). So we, (my wife and I) settled on Pickleman s! This was the VERY BEST sandwich I ve had from a restaurant, hands down, in recent memory! Mac and cheese took a while to receive, (my mistake with the on-line ordering) but was on point, and the service at 10:30 at night, was beautiful. My wife, she kind of hard to please, if you catch my drift. Well, I didn t hear one complaint there either. I couldn t/wouldn t change one thing about my experience, except maybe adding foam cups instead of plastic, but that s just me being me! Thank you SO VERY MUCH GUYS, you knocked it out of the park.

The food wasnt up to my standards. The fact that the pork was dry as hell. It was hard to swallow, and the bread was used by an actual hot dog bun. Im not impressed. Then we have my husband. My husband eats anything and everything when it comes down to my leftovers. He took one bite, and he didnt even swallow my sandwich. He spit it out. Im not sure what he had, but what he actually wanted to order that was on the website menu was not on the actual restaurant menu hanging up. When he tried to bring up the meatball sub, the girl said that they dont make them anymore. Yet 5mins after we ordered and sat down to eat, a group of teenagers (aka her friends) came in and ordered a meatball sub. Guess what she did? SHE MADE IT! My husband and I will not be coming back to this restaurant!

I got the turkey club and added ranch. The sandwich was really good, however the ranch was really watery. I also got the baja chicken soup, which was delicious with a slight kick off heat. My friend told me they usually give a pickle with each order so i didnt order one. I did not get one with my order which was disappointing but next time i go ill have to order one. Overall satisfied and will return.

The smell going out intro the street is absolutely criminal. It pulls you in harder than gravity pulls you down. When I smell Picklemans I float in the air through the door like a 40 s cartoon character when they smell the pie cooling on the window sill.

Picked up an Italian sub on white, no mayo (yuck), toasted, with O&V. Roll was too short, yet delivered the goods with a crispy, delicious chew. Ingredients were on point and just the right tang from the vinegar. Plan was to give it some fridge time then have it for lunch the next day. That didnt happen! Parking: Friday night parking ... Fuh get auhbout it! (Food was great so quit whining already)

I ordered the grilled cheese with tomato soup. I wasnt sure about the mozzarella and provolone cheese as I am a cheddar girl, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was delicious! The tomato soup was ok, but the sandwich more than made up for it. Also, the staff was awesome! Will definitely be back! Vegetarian options: Soups were all vegetarian and I had the grilled cheese!

We visited on game day, and I was eager to try a half BBQ chicken sandwich to save on calories, but was told they wouldnt sell me a half-sandwich. So I got nothing. I wish Picklemans cared about people who are at least trying to look for lesser-calorie options, but I guess they dont generate enough profit. Dietary restrictions: They broadly advertise half-sandwich reduced calorie options on their menu, but refused to sell one on game day. Guess its too much of a hassle to offer calorie-conscious options to customers on a game day.

The sandwich was actually very good but I have to give a one star due to there being mold in my chips. That is very dangerous and if anyone else had gotten them they would have thrown a fit. These guys make some serious sandwiches, and their pizzas are killer too. One thing to keep in mind though when yall hit this place: even a scrawny college freshman can eat a whole pizza on my own, so Id say spend at least $20 to satiate your hunger.

Food was great, staff was super friendly and helpful. Just a few things bothered me. I wish it was a bit cleaner (trash emptied, clean tables, well stocked napkins, etc.), during our visit an employee was prepping food at the cash register! Not to step on anyones day-to-day practices, but I was not pleased when i saw that. And probably the main thing was the employees use of inappropriate language during personal conversations, i have no problem if it s in the back room, but up at the counter a kid could hear that and it sets a bad example. Will return soon, but hope to see some changes.

we ordered a meatbal sub and it came with no marinara. no sorry or anything. they didnt offer anything to accomidate, i had to ask for another sandwhich but they just brought a side of marinara and the driver had a big attitude. this is the 2nd time this has happened. no one had a pleasing attitude. bad professionalism this time.

I have had bad experiences in my life and I understand a busy night with a short staff. What I do not understand is how I waited 2 hours for my food, called to check after over an hour and was told it would arrive soon. Then right at about 2 hours of waiting my husband was told to call back later or tomorrow. Finally when he spoke to a manager he found out our food was never made. This was my first and last attempt eating here because of the wait time, the rudeness, and the lack of actually receiving food. The whole restaurant failed us tonight, and after reading others reviews I see were sadly not alone.

Very friendly place my 7 yr old son and I go there alot. They know your order already but more than that they always are respectful and take time to speak with the customer and be friendly and always do their best to give you a good experience. Food is good made right in front of you with care. And no matter how busy they always make sure your orders done right and quickly. Would recommend this place over subway. Also got great pizzas too

Picklemans has disappointed me and has forsaken my faith in humanity. My wife and her friend were out enjoying a night on the town when their phones started to die. They found picklemans pizzeria and begged to see if an employee had a charger. (They had planed on ubering home but hadn t noticed how quickly their phones were dying ). A gracious employee revealed they had a charger but had to check with their manager. The manager immediately said no it is against company policy. My wife pleaded to allow her the charger just a few minutes so they could arrive safe home. He said no you should have panned better as if punishing her for an emergency situation occurring. Then forced them onto the streets at 2 am with dead phones. This is not the kind of establishment I want in my neighborhood as the manager clearly has zero regard for human life. It appears he has developed some sick power trip since becoming the manager of a pizzeria. Very strange and embarrassing. Won t be back and neither will me friends / Work colleagues

Food appeared decent. However the manager of this location is by far, one of the worst human beings I have ever encountered. A girlfriend and I entered the stablishment with the intent to purchase something and went to the restroom. The manager instructed us it was against company policy to use the restroom? A red flag but we moved on from this. Upon realizing our phones were close to dying, my girlfriend and I asked an employee if anyone had a charger at work and we were desperate. They assured us they did but they needed to check with their manager. The manager immediately said no it is against company policy to lend us the charger . We apologized and said we were desperate and we re two women that felt unsafe and out of options to get ourselves home. (Our phones weren t dead but close to dead and we really wanted to assure that our lyft/Uber would arrive ) it is unlike us to beg for help and we did not want to be a bother. Even though it was entirely in his capacity to help two vulnerable women, he refused and stated you should have planned accordingly . As if we were to blame for feeling unsafe and vulnerable in a new city. Thankfully gentlemen outside rescued us. Otherwise we would have been alone on the streets at 2 am. I confronted the manager, saying he was simply a terrible person, as he couldn t possible empathize with any other human being. He assured me his mother was proud of him, which I am weary of as he is the manager of a Pizza Parlor and am certain he will not amount to anything else . I am very disappointed with how he chose to represent this establishment. Especially considering today s climate. I hope picklemans wouldn t stand by these decisions that could have cost women their lives, they seem to be cherished by the neighborhood and perhaps and new face of management would do them good.

Horrible deliver service. I ordered food at 9:18pm my food showed up at 12:36 ice cold. I called the restaurant several times to inquire on the status of my order and was yelled at and hung up on. I requested a refund.. I never got it. I followed up on this through the corporate office and was told serveral times it would happen in 24-72 hrs. It never came I spent $75 on cold inedible food and I will never eat here again.

Food was good, however when I tried to use the restroom I found it locked. When I asked I was told it was after hours (11pm) and the restroom is locked. However I noticed only the mens was lock. I was then told it because of drunks. I can somewhat understand not wanting to clean up after drunks but I dont understand why it was only the mens locked.

I am so thankful I found somewhere other than pizza and Chinese that I can have delivered for cash! The foods great also!

Im done trying to order food from you. Its a simple request to get what I asked for! My order has been wrong 4 times now and I dont understand at all. I own a restaurant and if that happened to someone as many times as it has to me, Id look at hiring a new staff that could understand simple rules. This is the worst service possible.

I never got served. I stood in line for a few minutes. I was the only one in line at the time. There were were at least 4 employees there, none of them looked at me or acknowledged that I was there. Two of them were right in front of me, prepping something as I stood in line. Another customer came in behind me. I waited a couple more minutes then left when I realized no one would take my order. As soon as I left the order line, the employee that was in front of me took the order of the customer who was behind me.

Their food is good, but dont bother adding anything extra. I paid an extra $3.99 for 6oz of crumbled bacon on my garlic cheese bread, and I got maybe a tablespoon on top of cheesy bread with no garlic butter. The last time I ordered here, I ordered extra bacon on an asiago chicken bacon sandwich. The sandwich had 1 slice of bacon. The base sandwiches are delicious. Dont waste your money on extras.

Great Italian hot beef sandwich, packed high with lots of meat and peppers. You don t need cheese as it would just mask the beef flavor. The au jus is also fantastic just right to dip the wheat bread into and add to the experience. Come here for a great sandwich!

Ive ordered a few times and foid was really good. This time order was wrong, but when I called she told me it was correct. Maybe on your paper list but thats not what I got. but hey, at least I got a sorry. Not sure Ill order again.
