I wouldn’t go to this store if they were giving away free merchandise. The manager Angela is a very unprofessional individual. Never can get help in the shoe department when we USED to shop there. Angela insults her staff and cusses throughout the day. Big 5 should be embarrassed to have such a horrible manager running an inferior store. We used to like Big 5, until they treated the public like second class citizens. They even make fun of customers after they leave the store. I would recommend going elsewhere to purchase sporting goods and shoes. I know we will!

I almost always buy my sneakers here. Great selection for that item. They also have fishing gear, but I would recommend Bi-Mart for that. Sports equipment, obviously the choice spot for your kiddos extracurricular needs. They also sell firearms and ammo if you are into that. They have a friendly and helpful team of employees.

****BEWARE! CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!****

This place charged us a dollar over ticket price on a pair of sweatpants, Erik the cashier tried to tell me that there was nothing they could do because "corporate" sets the price- stated he was ACTUALLY the manager when we asked to speak to them and "couldn't do anything about it" then and Erik said, "It's ONLY a dollar..." so we returned it on the spot. I have a complaint into corporate for his blatant stealing practices!

Update: a call into Customer Services confirms this is a brand-new manager and he was incorrect when he stated he "couldn't do anything about the price" that was clearly marked wrong. ***DO NOT*** allow them to steal from you. It will be a LONG time before I recommend anyone to go there.

There aren't many places to buy sporting gear in Coos County. Some folks travel over 1.5 hours to get their multiple kids gear for all sports at this one store. You can't let customers use your bathroom? -2 stars for being inconsiderate to basic human needs.

Even though the store didn't have my size in the shoe I wanted, the young man who was helping me refused to stop looking for another shoe that I would like. After quite a few attempts, I very kindly thanked him and said that it was ok, but that we needed to go. He was so helpful and polite and respectful to me. I left the store feeling good even though I wasn't able to find what I wanted. Thank you Michael.

I called On Monday 4-13-20 and asked about trampolines the big ones and they didn't have then in stock and informed me they would get some in on the truck coming in the morning. I asked if I could hold one they said no. We went to the store the next day and they had been holding them for customers calling in since 6am. Really WHY couldn't I hold one!!! Thanks I will never shop here again and make damn sure no one I know or love will!!!!!
