Placed an order on Saturday for a Monday delivery. After receiving their confirmation emails Monday afternoon that it was going to be delivered shortly, no one showed up. Attempted to call the store Monday around 6pm and there was no answer in the delivery department.
Tuesday morning, we were able to get a hold of someone. We were informed the delivery was made. We told them it was not. They said they would call us back. We received a call shortly after stating it would be delivered midday today, Tuesday. This afternoon, received another call that they “couldn’t fit our order on the truck with another order” and something about milling the parking lot. They needed to push our delivery yet again. Received a notice that it would not be delivered until Thursday. (Need the materials by Wednesday)
Went in person to customer service. They were unable to put us on the schedule for Wednesday delivery. The woman did offer a 10% discount (thank you) but that doesn’t help with the delivery issue. So I had them cancel my order. And went elsewhere.
Truly disappointed in the delivery service and lack of communication and then the excuses. We are opened minded people and understand things happen. But to have our delivery constantly changed is unacceptable. I wonder how many people who placed orders after ours, were getting their delivery before us.

It’s a shame that I have to write this, but Lowe’s customer service has gone down the crapper I tried to put a 15,000 order with the bidding software and here I am waiting 4+ days as a contractor to get a quote back. This has to deal with employees that are not knowledgeable in there field and getting their jobs done sufficiently and as well the store manager, not driving their employees to get their jobs done so I guess I have no choice but to buy from another supplier no one answers the phones pure laziness good luck Lowe’s

Great store has lots for the home, People are freindly although you do run into employee here and there with attitude, lack of knowledge. Left a list I made for supplies to build a deck, guy at the counter said he knew his stuff ( I did not) he never did anything with it. BUt np I made it to tenth grade ,I figured it all out myself without adding 10% supplies. Had only bout 6 feet of drop offs.

Every time i go in there im always mad that i went in there and didnt take the extra 2 minutes to go to home depot. I might as well live at this place. I'm here so much because we're remodeling.I'm dealing with paint right now. The people in the paint dept are very helpful. Also there are many free brochures to show how to use the colors in various settings. Be prepared to spend some time picking out colors and remember they will look different in your own house lights. Take many samples of colors home and look at them in the daylight and in the nighttime lights of your house. They will change drastically.

Terrible customer service! Tried calling for help to see if a product was in stock. I was put on hold 4 times and either hung up on after waiting several minutes or never answered the phones. Rude, lazy, and unprofessional!
Going into the actual store and dealing with the customer service area is just as bad! The workers would rather stand around and talk to each other than help costumers. Too lazy to look up stock in the store and complaining about being busy and doing their job. What terrible customer service.

NEVER count on Lowes for timely delivery. This is the third (and final) time I will set up delivery from Lowes. Took time off for delivery and the next few days to work on a project, only to have them change delivery dates in the window of when they were supposed to deliver.
Third time is enough....I'm done with Lowes.

Impossible to reach anyone by phone. I called to set up an appointment with a kitchen cabinet associate over a period of two days and over an hour on hold. Also tried to talk to a customer service rep to find out how to get hold of said department to no avail. No answer! It took me less time drop in and physically track down a very kind and professional kitchen cabinet rep in order to make an appointment to come back another day than it did to make a phone call. Is there some way Lowe's can improve their phone system?

Went in SATURDAY morning at 9:00am for windows. Figured on spending $2-3,000. After waiting 20 minutes in the section, was informed their window person wouldn't be in till noon. I was one of 4 people waiting....who left.
After reading the owners response, not sure how the customers time or in store experience was addressed. Pretty much a "canned" reply.

I needed to match, as closely as possible, some shingles that had blown off my roof and Lowe’s had the closest match. I bought three bundles at $44.98 each totaling $134.94 on February 6. The handyman that patched the roof finished his work the first week of May. I got some help loading up the two bundles of shingles that where not used and tried to return them this morning, May 16. I was told upon unloading the two bundles and bringing them to the store, that they could NOT be returned as they had been purchased 100 days ago and not within the 90-day limit. Even though Lowes is still stocking the items and they have not been used, I am not eligible for a refund upon a return. I could not even get a store credit, as up until today, I did shop regularly at the store. I understand return policies, especially if it is a seasonal item. However, they are still selling these shingles. Why could they not accept the item and reshelf it? It’s better for the customer, better for the environment and better for the person needing to buy them in the future. I believe there was an opportunity missed here.

There should be "no parking" signs in front of the entrance and exit doors to deter all the lazy jacka$$es that can't walk 50 feet from the parking lot. It makes it difficult to see people walking out of the store when you're driving past. The people sitting in their cars blocking the doors stare at you like you're doing something wrong.

Their store manager, she is rude and unhelpful, it seems she does not care about anything at all. Asked their cashier refund money in cash not the card. Customer service. Each person I spoke to were helpful and pointed me to where I needed to go for the product I was looking for.
Only thing I would say that needs to be done (and this applies to any type of store) is to make sure each product has a bar code attached so there's no holdup when checking out.

I walked into Lowes to purchase and have installed a toilet. Little did I know what was in store for me. Never before have I experienced so much incompetence in a business. It started immediately with the greeter. When I asked who I needed to see to facilitate a purchase and install she stated she didn’t know. I pointed out she worked there, not me. She immediately became angry and stated rudely, “Go over to customer service.” I did. They sent me to plumbing where a very nice, but completely incompetent young man by the name of Ettiene tried for the next hour to sell me the toilet I had picked out. I like the price, but unfortunately, even though four of them were sitting there, his computer system would not let him sell me one. He left and was replaced by a mature lady with white hair who also was clueless. So as not to turn this into a novel, I will shorten this review up by stating that this debacle has dragged on for days. Someone came to my house to “measure” for the install and now the work order cannot be found. So still no toilet after many days. Many useless phone calls and more time wasted. One individual named “Al” was about the most coherent and knowledgeable worker there that I dealt with but even he wasn’t able to fix this mess. So if you like dealing with incompetent, mostly indifferent people, who will cause you nothing but stress and frustration, by all means walk into the Scranton Lowes….

I prefer Home Depot I sent my wife to pick up a replacement slip on tub spout because the diverter in ours was faulty. This guy named Shaun told my wife we should rip open wall change everything out he wouldn’t use slip on. We don’t have a threaded extension it was fitted for slip on so why would we not use what is already there and why am I ripping wall behind tub for a broken diverter in a spout. Gave her the wrong product several times absolutely ridiculous he’s a professional plumber he claimed but works full time at Lowe’s I think he’d rather be working for the 50-100 an hour as a plumber. Can’t stand this place nobody is knowledgeable about what they carry in store impossible to get help let alone good help constantly say they don’t carry it but when looking online it showed items and where they are in store so I just stopped asking

Then get put on hold again for 30 minutes......or......You could schedule a delivery between 8 and 12 am..... get a call saying it's 30 minutes at 1000... then get another call 2 hours later saying they are running late. Then wait unil 500 pm and still not get it... look no further. This is the store for you.

Yesterday I went to the Lowe’s in Dickson city and was grateful with how helpful Lucas was in mill work. I have not gotten help like that before, he pulled out the panels for me to look at, cut them for me and gave suggestions about what I needed which was super helpful considering I am not the handiest … if you ever have the opportunity to work with Lucas I would absolutely recommend it!
