An associate of the Dickson City, PA Staples store kindly took time to explain the difference between older style cartridge ink printers and the newer style tank printers. He went over pros and cons of each and showed me several of the tank printers. This visit makes me want to buy from this particular store even though I live 4 hours away in Connecticut. I drive through this area several times a year and plan to purchase a new printer in 2025.

One does not find the attentiveness this person gave my wife and I that day.

I wanted to purchase a pre assembled desk chair and pay the 20.00 charge like I did for the last two chairs I purchased this year. The store would not sell me the chair, what customer service is that?
If I wanted a chair in the box I would buy it from Amazon and it would be delivered to my business in two days.
If staples doesn’t want my business today they sure as hell not getting in the future.

Just ordered my chair from Amazon and I will have it delivered by Thursday. Also it was 27.00 cheaper, go figure!

Ladies room extremely problematic for my wife. She thought she was going to be locked in because of the door configuration and it made it impossible to leave the stall she was in. We had to report it to the exit cashier. She barely made it out. I stayed nearby outside the ladies room in case she had a problem. Shame on you. That is a known problem for a long time that you are not addressing!!!

I get no benefits from doing business with you.
Ink. Cartridges are way too expensive. And it is very hard to get credit for returning them.

Went to the store for toner and ink. Didn't find all that I needed but a salesman came to me and asked me if I needed help. I was looking for HP toner in blue and yellow. There wasn't any on the shelf, but he went back to the storeroom and got them for me. I am sorry I didn't get his name but was grateful for the help. I really didn't want to go to Best Buy.

Great place to get pilot pen refills and a new post box. Identity theft and check washing were the problem things. I just needed the peace of mind, and to avoid a lot of disappointment. I did the experiment.

3 time I came here for business card. 3 times they were fubar. Completely wrong name right phone number. Then right name wrong number. The first person I dealt with was about as smart as a box of rocks. Get it together staples. My hourly rate is $75 you owe me 3 hours of missed work

The two gentlemen that helped me with choosing an office chair were extremely helpful. There was a chair that was not on display but available in the box. The associate offered to assemble the chair at the store for me to try out. Once I made the decision, the associates brought the chair to the front while I finished my shopping. I was given very detailed description about the insurance on the purchase. I wish I could remember both the associates names so I could thank them again for the help and inform the store manager of the great job they did.

I've mostly had good experiences with this store with the exception of a man who works in the print shop. The few times I've encountered him he appeared to have some sort of melodramatic occurrence going on. I went to the store tonight, as I have for the last five months, to have (4) certificates printed on a hard bound paper. He was there again, full of drama, and said that I couldn't have these copies done until tomorrow. Keep in mind that in the past it was never an issue, the girl would tell me that it would take about 15 minutes to complete. I purchase many things at Staples (I miss OfficeMax), and will find another place to do business.

The cashier with the purple hair was openly speaking badly about another customer in front of me WHILE SHE WAS RINGING ME UP. I'm not sure if she was talking to me or talking to the coworker who was standing next to her but it was extremely unprofessional the way she was speaking about someone who NICELY asked her where an item was

What can you say about a local office store monopoly other than when I need something I have no other local choice which is sad. When I started my business there were at least 4 locally owned stores which sold office needs along with expertise and friendly service.
Now, if you don't want to wait for Amazon to ship it you're pretty much at Staple's mercy.
The prices are grossly overinflated except a few loss leaders and 10. coupons they tease you with. I rated them 3 stars because they usually have the inkjet cartridges I need in emergency and they often have bulk paper discounted really low.
I used to be able to get dollars
back in credit for used inkjet cartridges but after a year or so they changed the rules kept denying my credits or the credit never showed up on my account. I called to complain to the national support line and they acted as though they didn't know anything about it.
I complained in person at the store and the cashier gave me a credit once out if the goodness of her own heart but then that disappeared off my account too! So now I toss my cartridges in the garbage which is another shame.
The sales staff is proficient and I have no complaints there. My advice to Staples, fix the miscommunication, lower your prices and offer free 1 hour delivery with knowledgeable
advice along with setup and you may avoid bankruptcy.

Great staff and selection. I really appreciated how the GM herself was interested in our business and what solutions would work for us. I really did not expext that kind of attention from a chain store. The Print Team is especially great! They really know how to correctly advise you and they don't charge for a quick crop or color correction .

Your standard staples store. I went looking for a laptop desk, a backup for my laptop and a poster sleeve u can mount. Looked on Amazon and found the same items for less. So it wasn't a wasted trip but kind of. Walmart is up the road, along with bam.

I went to staples to get paper copies of fotos. For a new project that im doing. The lady that took care of me, from the get go was very nasty. Insead of telling me that she could not make the copies for me. She kept complaining of everything. I told her to forget it . She was horrendous.

When I need office supplies which is very rarely this is where I go. They also do carry the ink for my printer here so once a year or so I’ll need to get some new ink. I bought my computer chair from here as well which is lasted well over five years. They have a little trinkets you need to make your office complete. I also purchased a filing cabinet from this location they didn’t have the color or size I want to on sale but I waited for the order come in. They were very helpful.

I brought my 16 month old laptop in because it wasn't starting up. Anthony quickly diagnosed the problem as a probable fried motherboard, which I'd suspected.

Although I'd also purchased a warranty, I had no idea where I'd saved my paperwork. Anthony and his manager spent quite a lot of time on the phone with other locations (because I couldn't even remember where I'd purchased it) searching receipts going back three years.

Eventually, I remembered that my paperwork had been safely stashed in my lock box; but, I made the decision to just bite the bullet and purchase a new laptop.

Anthony searched for every available discount and even made arrangements to transfer all of my files from my old laptop onto the new one...for Free!

When it came to knowledge of his products and matching them to the needs of the customer, Anthony excelled.

Between the tech support and the customer assistance, this was, by far, the best store experience I've ever had.

I have just receive the highest quality customer service from Staple's copy center employees. The time and patience this young lady gave to me was incredible, yet no other customer was left waiting. I must say that the staff in the store was amazing as well. They were pleasant, they knew exactly where things were located, and were willing to help with your next item.

Clean and reasonably stocked. But highly understaffed. A line of 8 to the 1 register open... shouldn't take 10 minutes to get to the register in order to buy envelopes and paper
