This is our local Acme. It desperately needs an update. The locals literally joke about this store :/ The table and chairs near the "Frosty Mug" are a waste of much needed space. The selection is limited and the produce is the worst. It's always in poor condition. If I go to the next closest Acme, the produce is beautiful for the same price. I think they simply don't care about this location because it's primarily blue collar.

I was in there last night 12/04/2023 I wanted to buy salmon, I asked the person behind the counter if the fillet of salmon was fresh he stated " I work in the deli meat dept. no one tells me any thing I do not know it could have been put out today or 7 weeks ago"! REALLY this is the way you talk to a customer! then a female employee walked up I asked if she was the manager, she said no, I then asked her about the fish and the petite sirloin steak which was not out in the display, which by the was was a total mess, signs thrown all over and unorganized. Again she responded to both of my questions " I don't know" all the employees in this store should have shirts that say " I don't know"! because no one knows anything! this store has the worst customer service of ANY establishment I have ever been in! I will NEVER spend my money at this store again!

EDIT: Went to this store on 4/17/2024 looking for bakery items the the fresh baked shelf was empty, I was told by an employee at the customer service desk no one is working nights in the bakery dept. I returned on 4/19/2024 hoping there would be baked items available, again nothing then I was told the oven is broken! who is running this place!!! ****NOTE**** Please read Andrews review below! this is very accurate I will repeat his statement " you cannot fix something that is fundamentally broken, let it die!"

It's a grocery store, that isn't really well laid out, always hard to find something here. They do have beer and wine, which requires you to check out multiple times if you want more than one 12 pack (by law, not acme's fault). The location is good, and getting in and out is easy. Self checkouts would be nice.

Came in this afternoon and had a checker, Hanner ring up my stuff. My bill was $272 and I gave her $150 in cash.she put in that I gave her everything. I was then told I had to have my stuff re rung. This person’s attitude was horrible. Never apologized and was aggressively throwing my groceries in bags not caring how she bagged them. Manager was trying to help me and about 6 other people waiting for lottery tickets. After a 2nd bout with the aggressive checker, I had to wait again. Left and left all my stuff. Had to go to another store. Also had to pick somebody up and told them this.

I had a super bad experience at their Deli Counter.There was a white woman（work at Deli Counter）shouting at me.I wanted to buy some cheese but I don’t know what that cheese called so I show her its photo.After then,she started to shout at me.And she rudely said “You can’t show me the picture,you must tell me the name !”And then she just turned back talk to other employees about me.It made me very embarrassing and it also affected my mind whole day.She is RACIST!!!She did not treat other customers like that rude way,Only me ! I was the only one asian customer there at that time. I felt like I am not welcome to be there. I am not satisfied with this!

This was the first time I was at this store . everything was stocked employees were super nice, that's why I gave it 5*. I came here because my acme in Horsham is always out of items and customer service stinks ,manger could care less, which shows you the difference between good and bad management

The employees are great, but the produce department is disappointing. The produce is often stale and expensive (probably why it gets stale). The meat department is also not well stocked. I think they can't accurately judge how much of an item they'll sell in order to stock appropriately.

This is a very intuitive supermarket, everything seems to be where it needs to be. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Now with the addition of the beer and wine aisle I never need to go anywhere else.

I love the supermarket it's small but fully stocked and can find everything I need ... However, D****e, the cashier she was not willing to pack my bags leaving me to pack my most of my own items. The 2 bags she packed was all wrong (hot & cold together) then bread with bottles just to get all smashed up. What a Jack***. It's the cashiers job description is to pack the customer's groceries properly I also worked as a cashier before.

I walked by the deli counter and one of the employees was screaming and belittling another employee.

One of the cashiers wore his mask, but his mouth and nose were not covered.

I tried here, but the employees need some training.

Small acme. Good for local shopping. A lot of their food was replaced with wine which is annoying because the state store is in the same strip mall and they already had limited food selection.

I have had consistently negative experience checking out at this acme for years now. You would think at some point they would find someone who could run a register at a normal pace. On top of that everyone who works there seems miserable. Perhaps if the job weren’t so miserable they do it better I don’t now but I choose to go elsewhere whenever possible.

I have never been to a store where the employees felt so miserable or incredibly disconnected from their person to person job.

Don't get me wrong, they were kind for the most part, but the energy of annoyance when you needed to converse with them was surprising!

Also the store layout is really lacking and I am sure that doesn't help them feel good. And although I was told there was a public restroom, there is no signage and no clear customer friendly entrance.

I just wanted to drag some of those employees away to a better local. So sad.
