The hoagie on the left is Dresher primo the hoagie $16.00 on right is another store’s primo location sandwich. (Not my photo) but what a primo sandwich should look like.
I am trying to understand why this location skimps on the meat, there is clearly something wrong ARE we trying to save money? If I want bread and vegetables , I would just go to
The supermarket and buy bread and vegetables, I am telling you all go elsewhere! This location is just the worst!!

I ordered three trays for a friend who was hosting family after a funeral. It took a little doing with the girl on the phone to get my order correct, she was clearly frustrated with me trying to understand what came with what while trying to satisfy a large crowd, but to the best of my knowledge, after I dropped the trays off, all was well. My friend would never tell me if it wasn’t regardless.
I went back about a month and a half later because I had family (who always look forward to hoagies) in from out of town. 6 hoagies, upwards of $130, and needless to say, I was disappointed by the lack of meat and I agree with many about the tough rolls. I have attached an example.
As far as tipping, I’m all about tipping well, my kids all worked in restaurants, but between both visits averaging about $400, I placed the order, I picked up, I made multiple trips to my car for the multi-tray order, (no one offered to assist or even hold the door) and there’s nothing inexpensive about Primos whatsoever, so suggesting tips that rival full-service restaurants does not sit well and then I unwrap this anemic hoagie?
Two weeks ago, a client sent a tray to work, they were pretty anemic too. All came from Dresher.
I’m bummed. My family used to really look forward to Primos. It was a bid deal to splurge because they truly stood out when they first got started, but you do not get what you pay for anymore.
I was hesitant to post this but in reading the reviews, I’ve noticed a pattern - some rudeness/not stellar customer service, tough rolls, lack of meat, and pricey.
I did sign up for perks, going to use my well-earned $10 and see if they can redeem themselves. If not, I’ll just call it a day. Stay tuned.

Went in for lunch cost 40 dollors 2 sandwiches 2 chips and 1 drink when the screen came up to guilt tip and the guy noticed i didnt tip on screen and he didnt see me tip in cash he went and whisper something to the guy who was makeing are sandwiches. Well the sandwiches came out with 1 slice of meat and 1 slice of cheese alot of toppings all becasue he missed a cash tip seen i didnt tip on screen. Long story short total cost 48 bucks and was not worth it not to mention the young asian lady with a mask is nasty and nasty on the phone as well. I will not be supporting that primos ever again and i hope someone from a hire position really straightens there store out. 50 bucks could of had a stake dinner

I called in my order. Then called in a sandwich for the hubs I was asked if my name was 1 thing I said no and pronounced my name when I got there she asked if my name was Andrew. I am a female! I also find this disrespectful. Outside of this my experience was pleasant. Especially when I forgot my phone and the counter person came into the other store to find me and called me by name.

Ordered the small bada boom an it was poorly made. I was given half of a cutlet and one piece of provolone cheese split in half. It’s definitely not made like this in the original primo store. You wouldn’t know it was a sandwich unless you opened it. I would’ve given this place another chance, however between the side items like pasta salad and other primo favorites being packed on the 6th and it’s now the 14th I think I’ll pass. Final straw is when I noticed a worker sneeze into her hand with gloves on at the station while making the sandwiches. Although the store is clean and the service was ok I won’t be back. I’ll take the drive to south Philly for my primos.

Disappointed that Primos Dresher took online orders for timed pick up ahead of Super Bowl Sunday and failed to have them ready. I was one of about 50 customers yesterday waiting in the shop well after pick up time and the owners did not communicate with anybody. They made no attempt with explanation or plan. Finally they were asked what timed order they were up to and they were 1.5 hours behind. However, the truth of the matter was they were over 2 hours behind. I was a 4:30 pick up (order #1364555) and didn’t get my order until 6:40 pm. Either greed got the best of the owners and they didn’t make a cut off for orders and/or they are that poor at running a business. Owners have to do better. I am sure the word is out not to patronize Primos Dresher.

Excellent quality but I won't be back after yesterday's visit. Primo size (9-inch) hoagies are now anywhere from $13 to $15. While I prefer Primo's over Jersey Mike's or Wawa, I'm not paying nearly double what the competition charges for the same product. I understand raising prices to compensate for recent inflation but there is no world where a 9-inch hoagie, a small bag of chips, and a drink should cost over $20.

Review №53

Another disappointing experience at Dresher. Costs are rising and their attention to detail is falling.
This is the 2nd time my order was incorrect. The rolls tasted dry and stale. Ordered an Audie no oregano with mayo. Almost no mayo but loaded with oregano. Had to throw away lettuce, onion and tomato to get rid of most of oregano.
Ordered on phone and picked up in store. $30 for 2 sandwiches, small bag of chips and tip. Why are we tipping if they can’t make the sandwich according to the order slip? They weren’t busy and short staffed because of COVID isnt an excuse I am excepting.

Review №54

I tried to give this location a second chance but my experience was still disappointing. Ordered two hoagies, the Primo sized Corned beef and the Primo Augie, with roast beef and turkey. The bread was remarkably stale. It wasn't just crusty, it was hard and stale. The toppings were good and consistented of lettuce cheese peepers onions and pickles. But for $15/a sandwich, it could've had more meat. The amount of meat was miniscule. Also, part of the order was wrong, I asked that the Russian dressing and Cole slaw be placed o on the side and they completely forgot to put them in the bag. For $30 for two sandwiches, they need to be exceptional. This place seems to have gone down in quality since being taken over by new management. I'm so disappointed by the quality of the food.

Update: since my original review, I've tried Lee's Hoagie House in Abington and WOW! Waaaaaay better than this Primo location on. Bigger, fresher, more authentic Philly-style sandwiches and $2.00 less expensive. Ijs...

My worst primos experience. Do not ever order delivery from this location as they charge a ridiculous $30 flat delivery fee. I ordered 2 hoagies and a small bag of chips and ended up with a $65 bill. And the woman who answered the phone was no help in explaining and offered no assistance to make up for this experience.

Had the distinct pleasure of dealing with someone at this location by phone today. I called to make some minor changes to a sandwich order that I placed on UberEats (because there are no options on the app to add extra meat or request no cheese), which I often do with no issue. Today, however, I was practically scolded by an obnoxious guy who took my call and didn’t want to be inconvenienced. It’s not my fault Primo’s doesn’t have these options in the app. I’m pretty fair, and seldom do I leave reviews - let alone negative ones - but people need to know your customer service sucks. Happy to take my business elsewhere.

After calling to get the matter cleared up I was told they would deliver the two Italian sandwiches (what would be expected) but required a return of the turkey sandwiches. Why??? Its trash. Told the manager Brittany insisted. I have been a rep in the pharmaceutical industry for over 30 years ordering lunches to conduct my business about a quarter of that time. In all of those years I have never had a business inconvenience and embarrassed me to the extent done today. Bad judgment to say the least.
