CVS Health is conducting coronavirus testing (COVID-19). Tests are limited to eligible individuals in select states. Where available, anyone age 10 or older can get tested. Minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. We offer lab testing and rapid testing at some locations. High demand may cause lab delays.
CVS’s pharmacy system frequently changes for the worse. I was at one point able to:
1. Have multiple copies of the same prescription so I could fill them as needed without calling the pharmacy, which is something the folks working in the pharmacy are not shy about sharing their abject hatred for. Don’t call them unless you absolutely have to, they will be upset.
2. When something did go wrong in their fragile system, I used to be able to at least call the pharmacy. But apparently the disdain for speaking with their customers won out, because now you must call an automated phone line that takes about 5 minutes to allow you to leave a voicemail; which may or may not be acknowledged and responded to, and nobody will understand anything you are asking for despite it being what the last CVS employee told you to do. So prepare to repeat yourself at minimum three times to possibly get the message across
3. The store itself is harder to shop at every time. If you’re not enraged by self checkout, you will be enraged by the impossibility of finding an employee to open a locked case, honestly it seems to me the intention is to stop selling razor blades and any middle of the road personal care products.
If I wasn’t a captive customer because of my pharmacy benefits I would use literally any other pharmacy.

Horrible experience with the Pharmacy. I have been using them since they opened this location and had used them in Drexeline prior.
They close for lunch at 1:30 every day - no problem. The problem I DO have, is that instead of ending or capping the line, the shut down the pharmacy at 1:30 on the dot and those that have been WAITING in line 10 mins plus are screwed and told “Nope. Nothing I can do”. I watched them walk outside the pharmacy prior to 1:30 to open the mucinex case with me being next in line. The clock strikes 1:30 and the pharmacy is closed. No if, ands or buts. Extremely disappointed in the customer service here. I’ll be moving my scripts.

Voula the pharmacist is extremely unpleasant to say the least. When calling in regard to my prescription, she constantly over talked me, belittled and doubted the issue until my doctors office confirmed the error was on CVS’ end. It is unsettling when someone you should be able to assume cares about their patients does not.

Don’t usually have a problem picking up my prescriptions but yesterday was a bit of a headache, first being told by one pharmacist that I didn’t have anything ready and wouldn’t help me any further. Second pharmacist gave me the feeling I was bothering them. Seemed like they didn’t want to help me and tried to send me back in line to the first pharmacist. My question is who is responsible in this situation? How do I get the help I need?

Parking, drive-thru pharmacy, minute clinic, variety of products. I'd say that this CVS is a gem lol. The staff in the minute clinic are always super friendly and helpful. Think of the minute clinic like an urgent care center. They offer vaccines, tests, physicals, etc. I recommend making an appointment ahead of time if you can that way you can check and be seen quickly. There's also a tall gentleman who I usually see at the front stocking that's always speaks, always asks if I need assistance, and always offers to move whatever he's stocking so I can get to the shelves lol.

This CVS Pharmacy is not equipped to deal with the volume of customers it has at the pharmacy The staff that is available is unhelpful and demeaning to patients. When faced with a routine question regarding other available options for a drug that that was unaffordable, the staff was not able to provide alternative options like other similar brand names or generics. They were unwilling to look for available discount programs through programs they participate in like GoodRX. They did not call me to notify me the drug was very pricey, rather they filled it and allowed me to wait in line for over 30 min and told me the cost at the counter with a “are you aware of the price”and lackluster attitude. They are not staffed to give courtesy calls to customers or provide help outside of the one thing they have to do - count pills. They are there to count pills and ring you up. It is very basic retail with no customer relationship building or courtesy. I left the store disappointed and disheartened by the lack of customer service, the substantial wait in line, and the demeanor of the available assistance.

Dr called in a z pack prescription six hours ago. All the pharmacist needs to do is slap a label on it. RX not done because pharmacist is giving vaccines. No vaccine takes six hours to administer and why is a pharmacist giving vaccines anyway? Terrible terrible customer service. Planning to remove all of our prescriptions to another pharmacy.

WORST pharmacy ever!!! When I call a few days in advanced to ask if I can pick up my meds as I let them know I only have pills for a few days left, they say okay you can pick up on this day! On the last day of my meds and the day I am supposed to pick up medication I always, always get a text saying they are waiting on Authorization from my doctor. When I try calling them no one picks up the phone for days!! They do not care period!! Like every month it’s a hassle as if it’s not with one medication it’s with the other. When I call they have me on hold for over 30 mins then hang up it’s like terrible service at this pharmacy always!!!!

I came to the minute clinic for an apt. at 930am on July 19, 2023. I had a high fever, rash and muscle aches and pains. I am a disabled U.S. Army combat veteran who occasionally uses CVS's minute clinic. I use the VA for all of my healthcare so I do not carry personal health insurance. The VA has a partnership, called the MISSION act, with CVS that allows veterans to use the minute clinic without cost. The NP on duty would not see me. She fully discriminated against me based on my veteran status. She wouldnt even attempt to do the proper paperwork to allow me to be seen. Her reasoning was that "higher ups" had to give her approval to see me. She flat out refused to even attempt to file the proper paperwork and instead told me I had to leave and go to another clinic. She did not want to give service to a combat veteran and it was obvious. She told me other real patients were waiting behind me and that I would need to reschedule at another clinic to be seen. I went to a different CVS several hours later and received excellent care, although delayed 2.5 hours. The NP there told me to go to an urgent care, which I did. Within minutes of being seen at urgent care I was rushed to the ER in an ambulance, where I was stabalized. I was tested and treated for a severe case of Lyme disease at the hospital. This NP needs to lose her license. She discriminated against me, delaying care and treatment, which could have led to far more severe health consequences.

My experience was excellent at CVS in Drexel Hill, always is. I have had a CVS rewards card for years, and I send emailed offers of rewards to my card. Then I check out my items st the store, scanning my card. Most recently, a team member, Haley, helped me find detergent, unlocked the glass cade and checked me out with it. I bought at a reduction in price due to her scanning my card. She was pleasant & diligent. The store was clean and aisles were clearly & largely labeled, making items easy to locate. I left the store very happy.

This 5 Star review is for Shelia
My experience with Sheila and her comrade Shalaya (forgive me if I misspelled) was phenomenal! My scheduled Covid test was for 3:40pm. After receiving my test results (negative) via phone call @4pm as I waited in CVS parking lot. I asked Sheila if I could go into minute clinic to be seen because at this point I suspected sinus infection and am borderline asthmatic which usually attacks my respiratory system. I wanted to get started on an antibiotic. Sheila assured me that I could. Minute clinic didn't close until 4:30 pm.The NP Rachel was still there. Little did I know she was also in charge of Covid testing.
I was trying to use the kiosk to sign in. I was having trouble so I just waited. Rachel opens the door @4:17pm after seeing another patient. She sees me and says, "I am sorry we are closed for the day." "I have phone calls to make." Little did she know, I would be one of those phone calls. I tried to explain I called ahead (Sheila said I could walk in) Rachel says, "You can come back tomorrow." I said, "I am not feeling well." She says again, "You can come back tomorrow." I left and was stunned at the unkindness. People will remember how you treated them and made them feel. No one knows your body better than you as a person. I am responsible for my elderly Dad who depends on me weekly as well as other people I care for passionately. This NP could had helped me start feeling better by tonight. Simply by seeing me and calling in the Rx I need before my symptoms worsen. My symptoms are worsening and my care has been delayed another day. Which will prompt me to call primary. Last place I want to go to is a Hospital. I will now be delayed in caring for my Dad and others this week. I do hope the NP thinks twice before turning another patient away.
So 30 minutes later guess who calls me? Rachel! She says is this Lori B.? This is Rachel R. from CVS. She says, " Are you the person who was trying to sign in at the kiosk?" I said, "Are you the person who turned me away?" She said, "Yes." And was starting to say something else. She must had put 2 & 2 together. She didn't know who I was sitting in the waiting area. She probably saw that I tried to sign in unsuccessfully and matched the names with the Covid testing. I simply explained, I would be giving a negative review for her(Rachel) and would not be returning to that CVS ever.
And she was unmasked.... every Health Care Professional I have encountered is always geared up taking precautions. Sheila was properly geared as well as Shalaya with a shield and masks as I witnessed with testing today. Nate (my son)wanted to go in and say something.. What was the point? She would not see me. She already made her mind up.
Update: saw my NP at Primary care today. She was masked up and shielded even though vaccinated. (Precautions)
On my way to feeling better soon. I was prescribed antibiotics for a nasty sinus infection that is attacking my respiratory system.

This store has a drive -thru for people that are in a hurry so they can pick up their prescriptions and be in their way ! What a great idea! Oh but wait someone had another idea . They said maybe we should give people a chance to get a covid19 self test while driving thru the line that we made for people in a hurry? Now we have to wait a extra average 5 to 8 minutes while the customer with one or two kids do their testing !
Why can't they get their testing kits and be instructed to drive away and do the testing in a safe parking spot and then get back in line and return the kits ?

Do not go here! Read the NYT article on chain pharmacies from 1/31/20. These people are pushed by their corporate bosses past reasonable limits, and the results are dangerous. Besides rendering the pharmacists incompetent, it makes them miserable and unpleasant. I was warned, but didn't believe it. Never again.

Terrible service.
I pulled into the drive through lane with one car in front of me. I wait 15-20 minutes for my turn. By then there were 5 more cars behind me. When I give my information to pick up my prescription, the woman tells me it has already been picked up and signed for. I asked her who signed for it and she replies with “you will have to come back later for that information, there is a line.” Why couldn’t I get the same level of service and care as the person I front of me? At least ask me to come into the store instead of giving me the brush off. It was rude and I didn’t appreciate it.
In another instance, I went in for a flu shot. The man walked around the desk and gave me a shot right on the floor in front of 6 other customers. I usually am asked to go into the clinic room where I can get my flu shot in private.
