Big Lots really does have almost everything.
They had some different items, such as Lego storage containers. Overall, the store had a lot of items storage containers, bookcases, chairs, kitchen appliances, and food. Pet items, movies, etc.
The store had a variety of springtime items such as patio furniture. A range in prices of low to high priced items.

The store is large, and I did not have any issue navigating and looking through the ailes.

The store was clean and well organized.

The prices seemed to be the same as others. A few of the toy items seemed high, but not by much.

The staff were very helpful and nice. I was greeted when I walked into the store.
The store has two entrances, one from the parking lot and the other leads you into the DuBois Mall.
This store is worth checking out.

EDIT: Pretty sure the last review I made was a year ago however the same people are still working there.
Associate number 1967490 is a female with the worst attitude that I have ever seen customer service wise.
She is the person I wrote the review about at the bottom.
Anyway there have been two times TOTAL that I went into the store to return something with this particular associate. She refused the first time to return my item and when I asked for the manager she looked me in my face and said, no we don't need the manager, and refused to get the manager. This was for absolutely zero reason. I looked at her very sternly and I said you are going to get the manager to which she started smirking. She actually needed the manager to do a simple return ultimately.
Then this time just today, the same thing happens. She scoffed at me very loudly, laughed in a condescending tone and asked me why I had two separate returns from two different days, which for your information is completely normal. I'm not the only person that has the multiple returns from different days. Again, she needed the manager ultimately to do a simple return AGAIN. Weeks apart. I got stern with her to which she responded with more attitude saying that I did not need to be like that. Yet she's perfectly fine doing it to me.
This person has accused me of stealing before, literally in front of her when I did not AT THE REGISTER, refused to return things even though I have receipts or ways to look up my purchase through my rewards, refuse to get managers for me and then today she denies that she did any of this when I confronted her about it because she yet again was trying to give me another problem. She literally looked at me and said that I must have her confused with another associate, to which I responded that I had the right person. It's very insulting that she thinks that I can't remember her face or her matted hair.
What it comes down to is jealousy. There is absolutely NO other reason why this person would do this crap to me and then treat every other customer completely normal.

OLD REVIEW:
I told the cashier that I had two separate orders. Two items were food and one was a scented spray. I told her after she rang up the food that she could put the scented spray in the bag with the food. And I said when you're done you can just put it in the same bag. She then proceeded to argue with me because she thought that I meant that I wanted her to put it in the bag without paying for it first. I didn't even say anything remotely close to that. It was really weird.

It's literally the best Big Lots I have ever been in! We had to get a couch for camp, and the people in the furniture department and the young man at the cash registers went above and beyond to help us and make sure our measurements were correct. It really makes me dislike our Big Lots at home.

Clearfield store no longer had the wall fireplace in stock, they contacted Dubois store for me. Fireplace ready to go when I got there. Returned another day to Clearfield for furniture told 8 to 10 weeks because of covid. To my surprise the following week my order had arrived just in time for our move in to our new home. Cory , Tammy and the store manager have gone above and beyond to make my many purchases an amazing experience! The quality of my purchases has been nothing more than over the top! Thanks for making my experience a positive one!

Big lots has gotten very far away from their roots. Now it's just an overpriced small version on Walmart and there is no incentive to shop here. I'll drive to Clearfield for Ollie's instead.

Has most things I need or want at the time I want or have to get it at a very decent price. One of the only things I can't ever seem to find there is the shrimp flavored cup of noodles and some drinks. The furniture is pretty decent there and the price is normally good.

Do not buy from this company. It’s not so much the local store itself has it is the customer service and policy’s. They will take your hard earned money and assure you that you will get the items you paid for. Only to find out that the items are no longer available. And when you go to get your money refunded which you would think would be an easy fix. They will make it almost impossible for you to get your money back. Please don’t make the same mistake that I did. Go to a credible company that will treat you right and do right by you as a consumer. The BBB has been contacted

I have always had great shopping experiences at the DuBois Nig Lots location. They offer a diversified selection of products, at times , exp:, a pkg. Of cookies may be a unique Brand or Flavor not generally seen I'm our local grocery store.
