I really like my Giant, but I feel the prices are out of control. High prices are everywhere, but Giant used to be reasonable. Also, the shelves are never fully stocked. Finding what you want can sometimes be hit or miss.

We don't typically shop for our groceries here but we do buy our cakes from the bakery. They do the best job with kids cakes. They are always fresh and tasty and the designs and decorations are second to none.

This store is great usually, however they blocked off the entrance to the store a good 40 minutes before they closed. I came in to buy 2 quick items, and almost went to a nearby competitor who doesn't play games like this.

I love this store! I shop here because -- no Karens here AND they carry Boar's Head lunch meat. The store is clean and the staff is friendly. The store is undeniably NOT Wegmans, giving it more of an old-fashioned appeal. Great job, Giant!

Went to the store tonight and for the second time (privately complained the first time to the store manager) I was treated and watched ‘Bridgett’ treat others horribly at the deli counter. ‘Bridgett’ goes out of her way to NOT service black people. She makes herself busy when blacks come to the counter to avoid taking our orders. Tonight, just like the last encounter with ‘Bridgett’, she started doing “busy work” while a black woman was standing beside me waiting to place her order. When she finally came over to take the woman’s order, she wasn’t friendly at all and then told the woman that what she wanted they didn’t have. The woman responded by saying “ok, I’ll go to another Giants because they have it.” Bridgett and her co-worker were very friendly to two other customers, going as far as to call them by name and having conversation about the Philly ‘s game and how their day went, while we waited and wasn’t being properly serviced. To make matters worse, I called to complain and was told by Joanne that the manager was on a conference call (7pm on a Sunday.) I said ok, I’ll wait, please put the call on hold. A few minutes later the line disconnected, I called back and now Joanne asked to take a message because the call is going to be long (7:15 pm Sunday) I agreed.., but at this point, I don’t want to talk to the shift manager nor store manager! I asked Joanne’ for the General Manager’s name (she wasn’t sure of their name) but instead gave Kevin’s name the (store manager), I asked for the District manager’s name (never gave me their name) and finally the corporate number. Joanne, acted completely confused about the names of the upper management. She placed me on hold, stating “ I’m not sure of the names you want so I’m going to ask someone, hold please.” Finally, immediately, the shift manager ‘Kandy’ gets on the line.., I told ‘Kandy’ what happened, the time I was in the store, what the woman had on that was mistreated too and informed her that this is not the first time. Kandy asked me who I reported the first incident too. I told her I don’t remember but I honestly think it was her (Kandy). Kandy took my info and advised that she would investigate the situation. Because this is the second time that I’ve complained about this woman (Bridgett) and her discriminating, I absolutely will be contacting corporate 8/19/24!

Giant direct online ordering is the worse application I have ever used. Not only is it glitchy and throw you out of the all multiple times when ordering. They lie say you have a $15 off $150 coupon you hit over $150 coupon shows up but when you go to checkout coupon randomly disappears. Okay so you call your local giant they say they can’t help have to call giant direct … call them they tell me they can’t help it’s a marketing thing and there is no one to talk to??? Seems like a marketing scam to me. I live not even a mile from the store I will never use this store again and hope giant gets bought out. This food store is a joke

Great store, let you use the scan it app which helps shorten your check out experience. Also I’m not sure what they do or how, but I found the Giant branded fresh guacamole and Queso is some of the best I’ve ever had! Doesn’t really make sense but I’m all about it.

Their cashiers get ZERO training. Its unacceptable. The guy we had today: 1 - didnt know how to double paper bags and when I showed him, he still did it wrong then got mad at me for fixing it so items could even go in it! 2 - he literally DROPPED my apples in the bottom of the bag so now theyll be bruised. Plus fruit goes on top, HE SHOULD KNOW THAT, esp when the rest of the items were big like milk, ice cream, etc. 3 - I asked him to bag my frozen stuff together. (my hsband has gotten that same guy before and that particular cashier doesnt want to bag AT ALL, expects the customer to do it, when thats HIS JOB for which he gets PAID). Upon asking him to place my frozen items together, he called over a manager and told her I didnt like the way he bagged. Well NO I DID NOT!!! Its unacceptable for those cashiers to not know what theyre doing, and to expect the customer to do THEIR job. IF I could get a discount for bagging myself, I would do it every time!!!

This is the worst Giant we have been to. Dont stock many things we want, and continually out of stock of what we need. They keep moving things around and it is difficult to have to look for things that moved. I think they need a new manager at this one. He also doesnt seem friendly.

It was very busy. Got into one line something happened they shut it I had to go to another line put all my things on the conveyor and the poor guy at the register could not get it working and neither could the manager. So they put my food back into the car and I had to go to a third checkout line. Very disappointing for me because its not my go-to store.

If this is the Giant in Audobon, PA, they make the best white cream filled donuts ever! Even better than other Giant stores. Oozing with cream! Please, never fire your baker! The rest of the store is your basic grocery store, Im mostly rating the bakery department, lol. 1/2024 This is an update to my previous review a year ago. The last several times we ve been at the Giant in Audubon, PA, the cream donuts were nothing special maybe two bites in the middle have cream, and the rest is just dough. Plus prices have gone up, so it s very disappointing considering how they used to be.
