The owners were friendly enough (or managers, whoever they were). However, the young woman who helped me wasn't. The coffee she served me was barely warm. By the time I realized it, I was already driving away so I didn't turn around.
My friends liked the donuts and the owners were customer service oriented so I am giving this place a 3 stars, but the staff really wasn't great. The coffee shop itself feels empty because they don't have enough tables and it's not furnished properly.
I'd still say go check it out, but I really hope they will step it up because full price for a cold coffee was a bummer for a first impression.

Going in and out of Master Donuts feels like a religious experience. I dont know if its the Christian music and the Bible verses on the wall or the sweet donuts and delicious coffee made from the blessed waters of North Kingston. Either way, it's an enlightening experience.

Absolutely delicious! We tried an apple fritter, a jelly doughnut, and an old fashioned. They were all exactly what they should be -- tons of flavor, fresh, and sweet but not overbearing. We also got a honeydew drink/smoothie, which was great. We'll be back!!

I went here for the first time after driving by multiple times. I was in there for about 10 minutes before they even ordering. There were only 2 people in front of me. One with just a hot coffee. I then ordered just my 2 drinks and about 5 minutes later the server comes out to tell me it will be even longer. For a boba smoothie. Not only was their religion shoved down my throat from the moment I walked in but they couldn’t even take one simple order. I will not be returning here. The Coventry one is a much better establishment with much friendlier staff.

Honestly I'm confused by the raving reviews of this place.
The best part of the experience was the lady that served us at the counter. She was super friendly and enthusiastic .
The donuts itself? We bought half a dozen and all of them tasted artificial. I can't believe they were fresh a few hours ago. I can't say they are much better than those from DD.
As for the price - $10 for 6 pieces doesn't make it much different from other donut places.

I literally just bought a dozen donuts from there for the first time this morning and then I got a glaze to eat separately because I’ve never had them before. And I didn’t like it. The donut was soft and cloudy enough, but the glazed taste it like the grease. Almost like the grease used to fry the donuts have been used over and over. And whatever flavor was in the grease got into the glaze.

The only reason I bought donuts from here is because Allie’s’s is not open on Tuesdays and we had family in from out of state. I honestly don’t want to give them these donuts because I’ve been telling them how great Allie’s’s donuts are and these are not them.

AND the donuts were ice cold, so I doubt they were made fresh this morning

I picked them because of the reviews reading which is 4.7. So maybe the other are better. If so, I will come back in amend my review

BEST PLACE to get doughnuts. The owner and her son are so kind, their such gracious people, loving, caring, just a blessing to have crossed paths. You can feel the love as soon as you walk in. They don't just say hi welcome how are you... They really make you feel welcome and when she asks how your doing, she cares to really know how your doing. Just very warm and inviting. Had to find a new donut shop after Allie’s donuts went downhill.. my fiancé and I have been absolutely obsessed since we found Master’s! Friendly staff, a wide variety of interesting donuts, good coffee! We get donuts for Christmas morning every year and found them in 2021. They are now apart of our yearly tradition :) with of course a ton of trips there every other week for a treat :)

The donuts are like none other I’ve ever tried. They blow away any other shops in the area. The coffee rolls are light and fluffy. We haven’t tried anything we didn’t like. I have been there three times now and I bring them home to MA for my extended family on a Sunday AM. You will not be disappointed.

I used to love this place and previously had a good review. I stopped by this week and my opinion changed.
They filled the shop with bible verses and we're playing gospel music. I don't mind what religion you are, but their beliefs felt forces upon me. I was uncomfortable.
While waiting for my order I was sanding around and noticed dirty gloves on the floor,. The floor was sticky and the donut cases looked like they hadn't been properly cleaned in ages. Frankly, I had lost my appetite by the time I got my coffee.
I hope they turn things around. I had previously rated Master Donuts 5 stars and would love to see my opinion be changed back to that.

Absolutely DELICIOUS!! Donuts are like puffs of clouds. Light, airy with the dough flavored well. Glazed/honey dipped TO DIE FOR. Also tried a kalaki? It’s a kielbasa sausage, cheese wrapped in a Portuguese or Hawaiian type of sweet bread AMAZING! Definitely worth the trip.

I almost never leave reviews but... I went here for the first time while on vacation in the area. Oh My Goodness these are the best doughnuts and apple fritters I've ever had!!! I also had an amazing breakfast sandwich with freshly cooked egg. Everything was melt-in-your-mouth delightfully delicious. I would agree that they need more help behind the counter, but if you're not in a hurry or can go at an off time, it is well worth the wait!!

This horribly depressing donut shop seemed closed and out of business when we pulled through the drive up. Thankfully we pushed the doorbell and to our surprise, a woman came out to take our order. I said give us a sample of donuts. She provided a half dozen for $8. Best $8 we’ve spent in a long time. These donuts were life changing. Our tongues were treated to feelings that should be illegal. So delicious we’re these little disks of love that I can’t stop thinking about them. Try the cream filled. You can thank me later. OMG!

This was a great find! The donuts here are amazing and MUCH better than Allie's. There is also not an hour line for a sub par donut like Allies. They have some amazing flavors and the cake donuts are awesome.
I also order a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel that was awesome. They have bubble smoothies which are amazing, even though they are high in sugar.
They have a drive through if you don't want to go inside.
