Had the bbq ribs. Taste like vinegar poured on them. I didn't like that. The beans and potato salad was good. The cakes were good. My girlfriend had the hash. She liked it.

Great little place with eat-in or drive thru! Good Q! Only thing I am partial to a more ketchup like sauce, they had 4 types of vinegar based sauces. Good fries & slaw. They also baked goods!

This drive thru BBQ restaurant is quick, easy and has decent BBQ. The brisket was very good. They have lots of seating inside if you prefer dine in over drive thru. Food is served up plated. Picnic style. Funky old signs and a couple of TVs make the dining room interesting. They have a walk up counter for ordering and bring food to your table. Self-serve pump-action dispensers offer up a nice selection of southern classic sauces. Loved the Carolina Hot Mustard and my Mom liked the mild Georgia Red. Reasonably priced plates and sandwiches. Had the pulled pork and two sides with bread. 10 bucks.

Best BBQ I have had. I am a huge BBQ fan and weekend warrior but these guys set the bar high. Everything we had was so good. We ordered the turkey, ribs, BBQ (pork) and has a side of brisket to sample. All the sides were amazing. Best hash and rice ever! I wish I had room for dessert because they looked so delicious.

I had a brisket sandwich here recently. I give it an average rating but Im a brisket snob from tx. 3 slices in a shrinkflation size bun, I was disappointed. Youll get more than twice as much meat at sconyers or pot smoker for less $. Neither the vinegar nor mustard sauces paired well w brisket.

I hate to do this because I love bbq barn but the lady that took my order made a bit of a fuss when I said I wanted a little bit of everything.. I told asked her if she could just charge me for the extra sauce and she said yes.. and then I get home and had only one sauce.. they have great food but if your going to debate sauce with me and then charge me extra at least get it right.. smh

They have changed. Not so good anymore. I got a rack of ribs and it was all broken up in a box. Ordered 1/2 pound of brisket and only got two pieces, not a half a pound. I guess thats why they say check your order. Probably wont be back. Grocery store ribs taste better than the ones we got. 50 dollars waisted and my wifes birthday.

The best ribs anywhere! Fall apart off the bone! BBQ pork is awesome, never any fat in the BBQ. Slaw and iced tea is also very good. The only side I dont like is the collards, not seasoned to my liking. About an hour drive, but worth it. Vegetarian options: A few sides are vegetarian. Kid-friendliness: Our grandsons love the mac and cheese, BBQ pork and hash. They do have a small Kids menu.

This place has turned into a mediocre BBQ restaurant that has delicious deserts. We used to love coming here a few years ago because it was so good. We went there last night and we were very disappointed. The brisket was VERY overcooked and sliced too thick. The hash was nothing special. Ribs were cooked well but the flavor was lacking. The pork loin was dry and the Mac and cheese was nothing special. The burnt ends and coleslaw were good as were the desserts, but I see no reason to go back when there are plenty of other mediocre bbq restaurants that are more convenient.

I cannot say enough great points about Jody and the BBQ Barn. I am from Minneapolis. Jody and his team created the food for my sons Rehearsal Dinner held in a private location 2 months ago as my son married Kaitlyn Frits. I worked with Jody via phone prior to this time with multiple phone calls after Mike & Beth Frits made the initial contact. Jody was so gracious each time in answering my questions, and truly worked with me on the menu choices and guidance. The turkey was very flavorful and tender - it was unexpectantly amazing! We, of course, had to have the BBQ with multiple, various, great sides. I, the MotG, was sooo pleased that our guests had such flavorful food to enjoy. My Northern relatives loved the food selections and the preparations of it, and even appreciated a trial of the Collard Greens! Seeing Jody there to oversee the serving of our meal was an added bonus that I never would have expected from an owner. It was evening meal; most hard-working owners want evening down-time and sleep! I have gone through the drive thru several times now and there is usually a line. But they are very fast and will come out to your car if the line gets too long and take your order. The BBQ is great! I usually get the hash and rice and collard greens and an extra order of hush puppies! Great food! You wont be disappointed!

The interior has a rustic design that screams At home cooking which I feel always adds a little bit to the flavor of the food. I wish that they had a bit more side options (first time Ive been to a BBQ place that didnt offer corn as a side) but I am willing to overlook that as a matter of taste. Service was prompt and the portion sizes were more than sufficient for the price. I do also prefer my sauces a little thicker than here, but thats the nature of the beast when you move from somewhere that uses Western BBQ to Carolina BBQ.

BBQ Barn did not disappoint on 4th of July it was so good ! Everyone talked about how good it was. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They called the day of pick up to remind/make sure everyone was on time to pick up so they didn t miss out. I will definitely have them again on a big event. Saturday For Father s Day weekend, I took my husband to a cook off contest in South Carolina. Disappointed that he was not able to get any ribs , due to the massive crowd. We located barbecue barn coming home to Georgia. This was by far the best barbecue I ve ever tasted the ribs melted in your mouth. We live about 1.5 hours from this location, but we will be coming back, I suggest anyone coming 20W to Atlanta STOP!! at BBQ Barn in N Augusta SC the best melt in your mouth Ribs &, sauce I have ever tasted. We ordered a slab of ribs with sides we should have gotten 2 slabs.,,,The entire Family loved it!!!!!!!!!

We heard great things about this place so we stopped in. We wont t go back due to our opinion on the food, the portions for the price. We split a two meat two side plate. The bbq pork was dry and needed sauce, the burnt ends were super chewy and hard, the macaroni and cheese wasn t very flavorful, and the hash was tomato based so wasn t a big fan. The one thing that we did enjoy was a slice of strawberry cake we picked up to enjoy at home. The customer service was great.

Terrible service! I ordered $87 worth of food for my employees, picked it up in drive thru. when I asked for plates and silverware to go with the food, I was told I had to pay extra for them I ordered 2 gallons of sweet tea and when I asked for 5 cups I was also charged for them, when I asked if I could have ice, I was given the ice in a Bag that had a hole in it and it leaks all in my vehicle (Also charged for it) I wasn t given any barbecue sauce with the meals and was told it was $.25 per cup. (I get paying for EXTRA. But I had NONE with my bbq ??) so I paid for 10 of them.. when I got to my office with the food, I realized that both of the quarts of hash were half full and there was a huge mess leaking in the bottom of one of the bagsAND the 10 cups of sauce I paid for weren t even a quarter of the way full!! When I called the restaurant to speak to someone about this, I was put on hold and then hung up on! I typically would not leave a review, but this was absurd- coming from another business owner. Do better .
