They don't sell my ice cream flavor or the double scoop cake cone anymore. Coincidence? No! It's a financial/ inventory choice... just like the choice to charge me a fee if I use a debit card there. I am posting my photo in remembrance of what they USED to sell and the service and charm they USED to have. The young workers were trying to explain to me how long it's been since they had the lemon custard ice cream... no sense of care for how I have eaten this ice cream longer than they have lived on this earth COMBINED.

I won't be driving from Augusta to North Augusta for mediocrity.

We visited here on Monday, August 28th at peak temperature. The heat index was around 100° at the time.

We received fantastic service from Karlee, thank you for being extremely patient with us while we were looking over the massive list of flavors — see attached photos. She never once made us feel rushed, even though we took a while to make a decision and was very welcoming.

I forgot what flavor my wife ordered — I want to say it was one of the cheesecake ones but I could be wrong. I had the Pralines and Cream, which was wonderful. We loved the flavors that we picked, and Karlee even let my wife sample some flavors before deciding which flavor to get, which was a really lovely touch.

There is a small indoor seating area, as well as some benches and tables directly outside the parlor. The place gives off a nice old-fashioned vibe which was cool, it reminded me of when I used to get ice-cream all the time as a kid. :)

Thanks again Karlee for the great service, and we'll be back again when we need a break from this blistering summer heat.

Disclaimer: I can’t really eat ice cream, so I’m sharing my experience and my husband & daughter’s review of the ice cream itself. :-D

This place is super cute! And even on a Monday night they were busy. There’s counter seating and additional seating in their “party room”. We decided to get ours to go.

Even though there were a lot of people, we were helped quickly and the service was friendly. They do offer free samples, which is nice because the list of flavors is long! There’s definitely a flavor for every mood. I usually check-out the dairy-free options, but didn’t this time. I did try a sample of the Birthday Cake, and it was spectacular!

My daughter loved the Cotton Candy flavor and my husband enjoyed his Superman scoops. The portion sizes are generous. Especially for the cost. It’s a very good value.

We’ll go back again!

This was my families 1st time in this shop and they nailed it in every way! The price was on point, service was on point, the portion size was on point, and the flavors of the ice cream were TO DIE FOR🥰The ladies working were very sweet. Fun experience with the kids.
Kids loved the walls filled up with toys.

My family and I decided to swing by here on a Sunday for a sweet treat after lunch, and we were not disappointed. It has a classic ice cream shop feel, and the ice cream tasted so rich and natural. The kids loved their Superman and cotton candy, and I really enjoyed the cookie dough. We’ll be going back for sure!

The choice of flavors and prices are really good in my opinion. The customer service is hit or miss, depending on who helps you. Some of the staff are friendly, smiling, and might even make suggestions. Then some are expressionless and quiet. Either way, the ice cream is really good, and its a cute ice cream parlor.

Coming from Wisconsin, Im used to good homemade ice-cream. Its been hard to find here in the south, but the Pink Dipper serves the real thing. I had the cherry vanilla, and it was excellent. Fresh large fruit and just the right cream to air mix made it just melt perfectly in your mouth. Well done!!!!

This was my first time visiting here. The waffle cone was stale. That was a little disappointing. I ordered one scoop of cookie dough but it doesnt actually have cookie dough in it. It was only filled with tiny chocolate chips. The entire thing was a complete let down.

I ordered a Hot fudge sundae. The Ice cream was amazing customer service was amazing. However my brownie was cold and so was my hot fudge. Parking: Few spots but it was convenient because they weren t too busy. Kid-friendliness: Children were treated well and the inside atmosphere was very kid friendly.

The perfect place to go when you want to sit 20 minutes because your card was charged wrong. Why? Because a cashier cant hold onto a card. One time was fine, but to drop it twice? Then, to talk wrongly out loud about a customer who is just trying to get ice-cream? Asking if I found it funny? There is no reason I would want my property to fall into the nasty divit between the two disgusting machines. It used to be an enjoyable place when I was younger. I hope this could have just been a bad night for the employees, but it was enough to leave a sour taste.

I used to absolutely love going to Pink Dipper. I went the other day and got just regular Strawberry in a waffle cone; I was craving it. It was likely the worst Strawberry I have ever had, and for the first time ever, threw it away. What they served tasted fake. Apparently, they no longer serve Bryers. I bought some from the grocery store the next day, wonderful ice cream. Its such a shame.

Bad management. We ordered 2 banana splits. Lots of things we wanted were out if stock. Ice cream cherry vanilla out of stock, out of pineapples topping, pecans out of stock, The bananas were green. Had some time to kill before a ballgame so I decided to stop in here for some ice cream. Which was nice because I had missed the opportunity to do so a couple days earlier. Also, it was insanely hot the day I visited so sitting in the cool shop was nice. Got a double scoop of Peachy Peach in a waffle cone (they were making waffle cones by hand while I was there - always nice!). Delicious. They had a great selection of flavors. Highly recommend.

Poor customer service. I guess because I wasnt the usual clientele, was the reason EVERYONE behind the counter(All 4 workers) ignored me. She was going in, as I was getting in my car to leave. But Babyyyyy, if you like coffee flavored ice cream then that Kahlua Chip is a DEFINITE MUST BUY!! I ended up purchasing a scoop of the Kahlua Chip and a scoop of Triple Peanut Butter! This spot is always a great way to treat your sweet tooth! My favorite is their butter pecan ice cream in a waffle cone. It reminds me of my childhood! Its hard to find really good butter pecan ice cream! There are a lot of younger players, but they are ALWAYS courteous and well-mannered. The wait time is usually short...even with a long line, its reasonable. Love this place!

I decided to come check out the Augusta area for the weekend. As I was looking for suggestions on TikTok and Google, I came across this shop and decided to try it. The customer service was great and I liked the old school vibes. I got the Cookie Butter ice cream on a waffle cone and it tasted great.
