Absolutely love this place! You can find almost anything you need for any craft or project. The isles are usually clean and organized. The prices vary depending on whatever specials are going on. The employees are usually polite and ready to help if needed.

We had a great time here. There are a lot of decor throughout the store. I was able to find the crafts that I was looking for very fast and very efficiently. The line was very long but we got through it pretty quick so the cashier was doing a really good job as well. This is where I will always go to get the craft items that I need.

I love this store but might I suggest training someone else to know how to do returns. Having the slowest cashier be the one running the return lines is exhausting. It’s one thing if you get the bad luck of the draw and end up in a slower cashiers line, but when you do have to do a return and you are forced or “stuck” (as another employee stated) in that line, it’s bad for business.
Again I love this store and look forward to shopping here but I hate every time I have to do a return, especially when I am short on time. A 55 minutes wait when there are not many people in front of you at all is insane.
The women’s bathroom always smells horrible me as if there’s a gas leak or something. It’s always dirty and in serious need of a remodel.

Great prices when there's a sale. Most of the jewelry especially beads are glass. You have to look closely at the tags. You can find many crafts here to complete your personal projects and create a special gift for someone. Loads of home decor at reasonable prices. I do love the fact they're closed on Sunday so the employees can enjoy their family ❤️

A well organized and clean store. The staff is extremely helpful. The store was fairly busy when we stopped in. The line was a bit long, but checkout was extremely fast. Plenty to browse through. No matter what hobby you are interested in growing, you should have no problem finding items that will make you more successful at said hobby.

This hobby lobby is like others, it's great! They were in the process of putting the Christmas items on the shelves! Just a warning it is incredibly hectic in the parking lot though, so if you are trying to park or even walk through the parking lot please be careful!!!

Love love the store but the bathroom is scary dirty. Just FYI for the managers to address. I know it's the after Christmas rush too, but there's areas around the walls and all that haven't been cleaned in like forever. Not the 1st bathroom complaint either

Great store with great service. Has most of the holiday and non holiday items available you’ll want or need for your home. They also have “themed” sections for say a “man cave” or something for the kids or moms as well. It never disappoints from all my experiences shopping there.

Nice selection of just about everything BUT the lines are worst than Wal-Mart! They need to upgrade to tap, open more lines (2 seems like their limit) & consider online shopping for people who do not wish to spend 30+ minutes in line. Just going in this store is so overwhelming, it took me 37 minutes to checkout. This was a normal day January 9th around 3pm and the 2 lines were ridiculously long. There were a few workers standing around not doing absolutely nothing.
The bald guy (I'm assuming he was the store manager) walked around un-bothered. I only come if there is something I need urgently!

Today was my first, and more than likely, my last trip of 2025 to Hobby Lobby.

Despite good product variety, generally lower than average prices, and frequent sales the lines at the register have grown out of control. Today I waited in line for over an hour to exchange a Christmas gift and buy a small handful of items... I don't care how much money I can save shopping here, as it's not worth the frustration of waiting in these lines!

Posting this honest review in hopes that owners/managers will hear customer's frustrations and actually do something to address this issue. Which I firmly believe is not understaffing, as I see plenty of employees.

I'm not one to bring issues forward without possible solutions, so I'd like offer one that another disgruntled customer and I discussed in line today...
What about a ten items or less line that is also the returns/exchanges line?

I love the Hobby Lobby store close to where I live in Goose Creek. The store is very clean and the staff is extremely helpful. I went there a few days after Christmas, when they had marked down their merchandise, so the lines were very long. The cashiers were very patient and very polite. I found some great bargains that day.

Wouldn't have anything framed here. They gave our frame and painting away to another customer without verifying who it belongs too. 500 dollar painting gone. Manager that came to talk has no idea what's going on or how it was given to someone else without verifying who it belongs too. Terrible service here. One of the clerks remembers giving it to someone else. What a joke!

I called this store today and got amazing results. We live 80 miles away and I asked if they could check stock with an sku number. I am sorry I didn't get the lady's name, because she was so curteous and professional and got me an answer. I tried to get the same service at the Hobby Lobbys in Sumter and Florence, but they were no help. They said they didn't have that kind of system that could look up a sku number after I was on hold with the Sumter store for 30 minutes. The Florence store was no better. I am wondering if they have different systems.

This location may be going under renovation or something but it was in complete disarray in there; stuff blocking the isles and walkways, had to maneuver around boxes and clutter in some areas, stuff in the wrong sections, hard to find what I was looking for! There were great deals going on though so I was thankful for that!!

Checkout lines at this location are slow & there are never enough open. Products at this chain are imports & often low quality. This company is so fundamentalist that there’s zero trace of Halloween. “Christians” like the founder of Hobby Lobby give us all a bad name. This store is always my last resort for craft supplies— usually I can find what I need at less controversial chains or even online.

They have a great selection of all things crafty. They like to jack prices up and mark them 'on sale'. The staff isn't always the friendliest, not rude, but not friendly either. My biggest complaint is the checkout lines, they are ALWAYS so unnecessarily long and slow. We went in for 3 items, took less than 10 minutes to find them in the store but still took 20 minutes to check out. I have seen long lines and instead of opening another register several employees just stood by chit chatting. If you want to talk and not work, take it away from the front of the store and the customers eyes.

I am normally a fan of Hobby Lobby, but today was a bad experience at the Rivers Ave location. The restroom was nasty, the cashier would not speak to me, and she rang up my purchase incorrectly. I had to get back in another line to have it corrected and get a refund. I probably will not go back to this location.

FIRST VISIT EVER! Hobby Lobby where have you been all my life? Discovered this hidden gem while on FaceTime with a friend. I thought it was all puzzles & model airplanes - but I was wrong! Love Hobby Lobby but today was a sad experience with a very rude cashier in Mt Pleasant, SC. Drove 45 minutes to this store to have a cashier get ugly with me when I didn’t want to purchase a reusable bag- REALLY?? She was so rude while she rang up my $300 purchase.
