Thank you for finally cleaning up & updating this location. Long overdue & looks great now especially that both doors to enter work.

I will never return to this store whoever they had at the door last night was extremely rude and would not let me in .. saying that the store was closed already, even though I had got there 15 minutes before closing , they had people still in store and only needed to grab one item! not to mention, I drove 20 minutes out the way , just to get there. I’m sick of the ghetto-ness . Stay away because they clearly they HATE their job.

I came into dollar general and as I was walking to find the product I wanted I saw a guy putting drinks in his book bad, I came to the front to talk to the gentleman at the register, he kept saying what I can't hear you. I was saying loud enough so I walked and said if you want lol to steal then go ahead,he started yelling at me. As I went to find the product the guy that was stealing I told him to go and pay for the stuff he stoled. The general behind the counter still yelling saying we can't do anything cause we don't have no one to watch the store and the manager said them. This store has been broken so many times. I will do my business somewhere else this the only I go and would be in there for 5 to 6 times a day since it's open. But no more

Very friendly and down to earth staff…EXCEPT!!!… Mr. Dwayne. Now don’t get me wrong, he is cool gentleman but yesterday his service was EXTREMELY poor resulting in a backed up line. Okay so boom story time.. okay I decided to make a DG run for some cereal and additives to a dinner I was preparing at home being that I only stay a few blocks away. When I made it to the cereal aisle for their 2for5 special I noticed they had a new tag ON THE SHELF that said 3for6 for ANY BRAND CEREAL. I said to myself…deal. So I’m at the register ready to check out. Out of curiosity I asked for verification on the price for the cereal being that it said for ALL BRANDS. Dwayne shakes his head and lifts his arms and says “i don’t know, did they say that on the catalog?” I replied, “Well it LITERALLY says that ON THE SHELF up until March 12 for all brands” Dwayne responds back as he’s walking away from the register to grab a catalog and shows “it says it in the catalog they’re 3for6 for Kellogg’s” so he scans the cereal still I guess to prove his point that it won’t be the same deal. And as I’m looking at the line now backed up from him doing something he didn’t have to do, I just said bump it I’ll take it all for regular price. Moral of the story if you have a tag that falsely what is mentioned in the catalog, just simply change it so that there wasn’t be an ongoing issue with us “dumb customers clogging the line” y’all like to call us once we left the room. You can do better Dwayne, you’re an awesome dude but I felt as if you were having an uneasy evening only making it harder for yourself.

Everyone who works at this dollar general is the best. Except for the night cashier. Dwayne is very rude and disrespectful. The system crashed at the end of my transaction. Before I go to the other register, I asked to make sure the transaction didn't go through. Dwayne said because I'm GOD, and I'm telling you it didn't go through and continue on to be disrespectful. I told him I would be talking with his manager, and he said what you going to tell her and what she was going to do. The nerve of some people 😒

This store used to be the best one in the area but since they put this manager in the IRS just as bad as the others. Shelves mostly empty, all the carts in the isles with the product not being put on the shelves, store dirty and the manager always outside smoking and on her phone.

Store was well organized and stocked. I was at the Family Dollar 5 minutes earlier and couldn't find a thing. Dollar General really impressed me all the way around this time!!! Definitely will be back especially to the Remount Road North Charleston location.

I went to buy black trash bags and toilet paper because it's so much less expensive than anywhere else. It was stocking day so merchandise was everywhere, but I could still get through the aisles. I like shopping at Dollar General because I can get items less expensive that do the job as well if not better than name brand. Dollar General is great when you're living on a budget!

Quick stop for items however the store I visit most often is usually dirty and merchandise in disarray. I will continue to use Dollar General. Most household items are much less expensive than Walmart.

Conveniently located. The store itself tends too be unorganized and cramped, but mostly due to patrons who make it that way. All of the staff are friendly, diligent, helpful and hard working-- no one is ever just sitting around.

It is just down the street from me... so it is convenient...I went once there was a mess on every aisle....the cashiers were more interested in talking to each other than the customer...I heard more of their business than I cared to....I really needed something and didn't want to go far....so I went there...I was really impressed with the improvements they made...it was a pleasure...I got more things than I planned on....for things were well placed it was clean no flats of merchandise or empty boxes on the floor...my cashier was professional....I will be going back...

In general, it's a Dollar General. There's not much over the top exciting but the people that work here are always great. They will go out of their way to assist anyway they can (think chick-fil-a style employees)
