Steven the manager was incredible! From having my order ready to checking me out! I ordered the wrong thing and he gave me so many other options!!! He is informative, kind, and so very helpful!!! Normally I go to another store, but they didnt have the dragon balloon my child wanted (last minute change from dinosaurs). I called several stores a day ahead looking for a balloon. We found them at the NC store where unbeknownst to me the manager pulled the balloons my daughter wanted for her birthday and had them sitting on the side for us the next day. When I went to leave the dragon snapped off the string where it was tied and floated away. The cashier saw it, didn't wait, and was looking for a replacement when I walked back in. Their fast and friendly service are worth the extra drive.

Came in today (2/29/24) shopping experience was fine, it was one staff member that was rude. They weren’t rude to me but to their co-worker. Only two people behind the counter; a young woman and an older woman in her mid to late 60s. The older woman had a balloon to put back (not inflated) in her hand and the younger woman, very snarky, said “you have small balloons in your hand and you’re looking up at the wall. They don’t go there.” Then watched as the older woman put them on the back counter, walked to where they were, picked them up, and said “these do not go here, if you don’t know what you’re doing, don’t do it”. All of this happened while I was perusing what balloons they had. Older woman just took it, I could see the look of defeat on her face. I hold a management position in my field and know how to train/correct people in a way that doesn’t put them down. I didn’t say anything in the store because I don’t know what repercussions would have happened to the older woman. No one deserves to be treated this way, especially when on the bottom of your receipts you’re “now hiring”. Do better Party City.

Party City didn't have a big selection on Princes party decorations. I bought a Priness happy birthday banner, Princes wall hanging. I drove down the street to ole faithful Walmart. They had a wider selection of Princes party decorations. I purchased everything that I was looking for and saved money! I returned the items and got a refund from Party City.

Couldn’t find balloon color, store member found for me didn’t inform me that the balloons would only last for 24 hours due to them being latex. I needed them for next day for child’s 1st birthday.

I went to look for holloween costumes first off they barely have any out mainly for kids so I got some decorations instead was waiting in line one of the store associates decided to get on register and said she can take the next in line so I waiting I was supposed to be next and instead she said next in line and call someone else up said there should on be one line even though I was next she was just rude about it her name was Michelle and honestly I feel bad for anyone that has to deal with her she has no customer service skills at all

Came in on a Saturday afternoon lots of empty shelves lots of boxes everywhere. Got some stuff I needed and literally waited more than 30 min in a line because according to the manager she had to blow balloons for customers she refused to help a line of people who had been waiting there and used the
phrase "we are short staffed" when there was enough people to clear us all out. Very upsetting that she didn't prioritize her time and gave attitude to multiple customers 😒

This place has everything you would need for a party. We bought balloons for $0.99 which is cheaper than Dollar Tree. Plus the selection is amazing. The staff was friendly and courteous.

Disappointed. I traveled over forty miles to shop in this area, and I arive and I see a bare store. No Xmas candy, no ribbons or bows, no nothing. This was a waste of gas. You can keep this store. I suggest if you want customers start stocking your store.

I went in to get some items for a friends birthday and asked if they had a sash because none where in the shelf. They told me they didn’t have time to see. There were only three people in the store, counting my wife and I. May be my last time going to this store. Seems their always clearing shelves. I am very disappointed with their service. I placed an order, they charged my card, realized they didn't have the item then cancelled the order and didn't process the refund. Now I am to drive 20 minutes to go there to handle it. The manager said call customer service because the only thing I can do is say this was unfortunate! Their error should not be an inconvenience to me.

Party City Manager Valerie was helpful with my balloon order. This was my 1st time there, she explained the process and shared that I may not want to ride around with the balloons in the car if I still had other errands to run. They held my items at the counter for me until I returned. However, I found out after returning that I could have paid for the ballons upfront so they could start working on my order. I could've saved time if that part was added. Overall, a nice, the ballon design was done with care and attention. The staff was very helpful. If I have a need for balloons in the future, I'd return.

The job ultimately got done but I did a lot of it myself. Party city blew up the balloons. They didn't do the service they advertised, they didn't have the products they said. I made my own gender reveal balloon. I went there to get a bouquet delivered as 2 employees said I could, but when I got there, they said I could only do the delivery online. I spent a long time there trying to figure everything out. Diamond was the only one trying to help figure things out when they couldn't accommodate. We got a discount because of how much we went through. They need to communicate their actual services better.

Not a great selection of items. It look more like they are going out of business. Prices on most items, I found cheaper at Wal-Mart. Hope the fixed the water leaks dripping from the ceiling. Hazardous, for a place call party city it needs a makeover and more selection of items.

I visited Party City off Rivers Avenue in North Charleston......It was not that busy and with the amount of employees, there was no reason it should've taken 35 min for 5 balloons. The young ladies were laughing and playing instead of blowing up balloons. I didnt have a problem with enjoying work but they could have been more productive. However when the supervisor was playing with items in the store instead of helping fill orders...I guess that is the normal. With 2 supervisors and a store manager it should have ran more smoothly.

The customer service was wonderful from everyone! I visited the store on Father's Day to purchase balloons for my Beloved Brother. They were very busy, but extremely kind. The lady at the first register was fairly brand new, but she was wonderful! The gentleman who created my balloon bouquet was just as wonderful! Go to Party City across from the Northwoods Mall because they exceed expectations!

Edited: I have visited twice more recently and the store is like night and day different. Its clean and organized. I could actually find what I was looking for. Kudos to all the hard work with getting the store back in great shape!

Old review : The store is trashed and there are boxes of stuff everywhere. It honestly looks like a store that is going out of business. I was truly disappointed because I used to love shopping there.
