So parking is a nightmare. We were lucky and got a free spot but there is 5 cars in tractor spots. We watched one guy pull his tractor in then back his personal truck out of the space and put his tractor in the space. They are “reserving” their spaces by parking personal vehicles in them. Management doesn’t care. I’m assuming they pay the cashiers under the table to not call tow trucks. We watch the owner of the white truck pull it out and replace it with the black car. He didn’t even have a semi. The red car pulled it out of the spot to park his truck. All these guys drive container trucks. Pilot needs to address this. I called corporate about it and the RM should be calling me back in the next 24 hours. Showers were nice at least. That’s the only reason I’m giving it one star. Not to mention the guy cleaning the showers was super friendly.

It always pisses me off how these truck drivers always complain, no matter what. The staff here are courteous. Respectful and professional. Most of them are on their feet for the entirety of their shift. The staff always go above and beyond the call of duty to make the lives of these undeserving truck drivers as comfortable as possible. Hey, staff. I want to tell you that I am exceedingly grateful for making our lives as comfortable as possible. Please don't be discouraged by these smelly, hygiene deficient truck drivers. The majority of us appreciate what you do. Day in and day out. Please keep your head up.

very bad service to bathe the workers of the pilot are selling the bathrooms from the outside since they proposed it to me on several occasions there was only one person in front and I had to wait more than an hour and a half for them to call me some were taking money from the ATM and one of the workers was standing next to him telling him the amount to pay that was $ 15 cash the truth is I will never go back to this pilot you know truckers if you want to bathe soon you just have to wait for them to arrive and they offer you the bathroom for $ 15 cash even had an indefinite bathroom and one of them told me that he did not have one to bathe and when I told him that I would check he gave me a bath since I had enough points

Had stopped to get some rest after driving for hours, when I got woke up shortly after by a security guard knocking on my window. She proceeded to tell me I wasn't allowed to "sleep" there, and had to leave. I was parked in the lot on the side of the building (not in front of the doors) and there was plenty of parking spots open. Never had this issue at any other pilot. Bathrooms were a mess as well

Worst truckstop ever..DONT GO HERE..Me my wife and the dog travel in our pickup and always stay at truckstops..We were tired of driving so decided to stop here on Christmas Eve got something to eat filled up our gas and took a shower.After spending about 175 bucks here we decided to rest for the night only to get woke up by a security guard at 3:30 on Christmas morning telling us we can't sleep in our truck there...When I went to talk to manager she was very rude.and wouldn't give me corporate number,or the store number....I tried explaining to her that we traveled from Colorado to South Carolina and never had we been told we couldn't sleep there by any other pilot..She was very rude and insisted we leave..I will be contacting corporate office about this issue on Monday morning considering all this happened on Christmas morning..It is wrong to discriminate against someone by the vehicle they drive...If this is what the pilot is gonna start doing I will be more the happy to give Loves truckstop all my business...

The lady that works night shift is extremely rude. As a professional truck driver I like to shower when I can. Being on the road constantly, you don't have the luxury of showering whenever you want to. Got up to start my day at 5am, at 5:30am I reserved a shower within the pilot app. Usually wait time is 15-30 minutes at other Pilot locations. At 6:45am still haven't received alert saying my shower was available, so I go inside. Check the hall where showers are located, shower #4 says vacant. So I go to the counter and ask the lady if it's available. She tells me very rudely that she will not have any available till 7am. Why, because they're to lazy to clean a shower, but that's when day shift starts. She's very rude and unprofessional, bad customer service.

Great staff but the parking lot is used by local traffic and they got up to 40 mph through here. I about got hit twice I'll be sure to avoid this location if I come back through. According to staff it's a known issue but local athoritys and management don't care about the drivers only the money they can bring in.

Took 10 mins for someone to come to the Arby's counter then another 15 mins to get my food even though there were about 3 or 4 employees hanging around talking & there were no other customers ordering/waiting. While eating my food I had the unfortunate pleasure of listening to one foul mouthed black employee with blue dreadlocks yell at one of the cashiers in the store part of the place several times. Such professionalism. Some people just don't need to be working out in the public.

Avoid during high traffic hours. There are a lot of cars using the driveway as a cut through to avoid the light. Some of them came flying through doing around 40 MPH in the parking lot. It's only a matter of time until someone gets run over and Pilot gets sued.

Cashier with red braids rude as hell. She has no customer service what so ever. I stopped in for lunch trying to get two slice of pizza me and this other customer stood there while she cleared her whole line not once did she acknowledge us or ask could she help us. When I asked her if someone working here in her nasty voice I’m only one person but if u come over here I will. I gave them two stars because the inside is nice and accommodating, but you can't get to the inside if you can't find parking...and this is where they deserve zero stars in my opinion
This place is overrun by container trucks...I'm guessing there's a port close by. And I'm guessing the truck stop doesn't care, because there's container trailers drop all over the lot, and bobtail holding parking space for their container buddies for when they're done in the evening
Close the truck stop down and make it a parking lot for containers, because that's what it is

Possibly the worst Pilot in the nation. The only good thing is its usually clean. I have to come here regularly to load at a nearby facility. I always reserve a spot and lately, haven’t been able to actually park due to pickups and dropped trailers in all the spots. When you bring it up to the people inside, they’re annoyed with you and would rather cancel the reservation instead of having someone move or towed. After driving 10+ hours to get here, I’m out of options.

Only I noticed one good person who cleaned and controlled the mess on the truck. Respect only to this person. He well done, washes the floors and cleans the garbage. I was accused of stealing by the night clerk. I had everything I was buying in my hands and she said because bookbag was on my front that I was committing a crime. I was literally counting my money to make sure I could pay. She followed me and then refused me service. I have been going there for 7 years.. never have I been so disrespected. I dropped my stuff at the front and then she said my attitude she wouldn't ring me up. I have never seen her before. I showed her my empty backpack outside of my cash. Paid for parking. Arrived and all the spots are full. Dropped trailers in the spots and doubled up bob-tails but not parking passes in the windows. Went inside and 30 minutes later I am still waiting in fuel lane for them to move someone. I visited restroom while inside and it was filthy. Showers were gross too.

The facility is nice but the costumer service is horrible worst I ever seen .starting with the manager that woman had no education really disrespectful and really bad attitudes with Spanish people, I feel really bad for some customers in front of me on the line both Spanish. she was sooo disrespectful I can believe she is in manager position but I guess America is short handed on labor. I just left the line at an Arby's very disgusted. I heard what looked like a manager speak to a customer in line incredibly rudely. She told him "come on let's go I got customers in line behind you!" I think Arby's needs better training! Pilot in North Charleston. I couldn't even bring myself to say anything, I just had to leave. The customer was Latino or asian, so I'm not sure if there was racism there, but I was the ONLY one in line behind him!

1 Star just so I can warn other drivers. This is the only Truck Stop with Parking for 25 miles. They allow local container driver to reserve spots and drop and leave unattended. Here today at 11am and can't reserve a spot because there are 9 empty trailers left unattended in reserves and 4 left in non reserve. Called inside and spoke to management, She says she is short staffed and doesn't have time to deal with it.. DONT HAVE TIME FOR WORKING DRIVERS??? WAY TO GO PILOT. ATLEAST WE KNOW WHAT YOUR PRIORITIES ARE.

Update : Friday night the workers lacked efficiency, professionalism, & communication skills. We stayed here for the weekend (truck drivers) and spoke to 2 coworkers i didn’t get the mans name he was tall and Tina. They were so lovely and so sweet. They really did make up for Fridays workers. She was very nice from the start . Came to ask us if we needed assistance and all that. amazing thank you so much for making our pilot experience better than it was. God bless y’all

A really pleasant truck stop in the Charleston area, right off the interstate 526 and not too far off interstate 26, this Pilot has a Arby's and PJ fresh Marketplace the showers are clean, employees are very nice, the truck parking is very limited and don't even think your going to find a parking spot after 3pm lol.

They have so many dropped trailers, bobtails and moving trucks parked that I couldn’t find a spot at 5pm. They have signs saying no dropped trailers Or bobtails but they aren’t enforcing it. It’s a small enough lot without these problems but I had to park at a grocery store for the night cause I have a delivery right up the street in the A.M. for the food bank.

Poor rating is for the Arby's inside. Same female not changing gloves when helping on register dips whole hand in pecan salad, twice to put on bread. Shehad made other sandwiches and picked up pan from floor first as well. Same female put somethong in deep fat fryer and grease went two feet high and overflowed making large mess on floor. Pilot is great! You can find anything here. They have a hot food bar with some seriously good food on it. It's always clean and well stocked.

In-N-Out service with a hot bar you would think you were at Golden corral, Ryan's, or shoney's with the food that they serve it's really good !Great management !Arby's franchise with the beef on the side ,showers for the truckers on the road, clean restrooms, and respectable staff.

The only Pilot in Charleston. The last one on your way to Atlantic ocean. Huge parking lot ( filled with noisy bobtails from local companies, but you can find your parking space. Not easily, but you can ). 4 clean showers. Nice and friendly staff here.
Only one suggestion ( I know, I’m a little crazy about it 😂). Can you please install boiled peanuts station? That would be simply amazing 😋And your fax needs to be checked/fixed. I was waiting for 30 min to get ppwk from my dispatcher and finally left empty handed 😞

There's a first for everything I guess. This is the first time I have ever gone to a pilot to get a shower and been asked if I have my own towels because they have none. When asked how long before they would have towels was told maybe an hour but unknown at this time. Its currently 0700. I know it wasn't busy last night. Really wanted a shower before picking up my load.

One evening after the job, a coworker said he was going to the Pilot to get the 2 for $5 pizza. It sounded good at the time, cause I didn't bring a lunch and I had been kept alive solely by a vending machine honey bun. We entered the store at the exact moment they brought out a fresh pizza. We got our orders and parted ways. That was the BEST pizza I have EVER eaten! It was so good, I didn't even want to eat it, knowing that soon this experience would be nothing more than a memory. I'm so glad I lived to tell about it. I have returned since, and brought new people to this new found religion.

Hard to find a Car parking spot for an overnight stay to get some rest/sleep before driving the rest of a long drive because majority of the car parking spots are filled with Bobtail trucks occupied & most aren't occupied, There's signs posted in the car parking area Stating (No Overnight Bobtailing) ***

They've got the cleanest showers I've seen at a pilot or flying j. The store is very clean too. Get here early to get a parking spot, that's the only reason I didn't give 5 starts they need more truck parking

I love it! Absolutely love it! Bathrooms need to be maintained a little more but the place is cleaned! The food is great and the service is spectacular! Its out of this world! I mean I think I just landed in Disneyland and A Waterpark in one! Except I didn't get wet and I didn't see Minnie Mouse!

Hey! It was open after 11pm. That's hard to find during pandemic. They had lots to offer from groceries to fast food. It's nice that they are close. I go so little that I'm afraid that I would put them out of business.

Big lot easy for backing up and lots of pumps. Store was clean efficient and friendly for the most part. Didn't give it 5 stars cause this is the second time the wifi and Pilot app was messed up. Was told they rebooted twice and didn't know when it was coming up again. I know they aren't tech people but a sorry bout that would have gone a long way.

I can't say enough good things about the people at the pilot. They're helpful friendly considerate. Accommodating knowledgeable and above all non-judgmental. During our time of need they were one of the few places to treat me and my wife like actual human beings instead of like unwanted burdens. Thank you Pilot Employees, we really appreciate everything that you do.
