Just happened to be walking through downtown Dickson when I stumbled upon Reading Rock Books. They're more than a bookstore. They had gifts and even Tea! Who doesn't love sitting down to read a book with a cup of tea. The owner and staff were so welcoming and knowledgeable. You never know what you might find here. I can't wait to attend one of their events.

They also sell unique gifts such as a national parks coffee mug, magnets, and chocolate bars. Reading Rock Books is a great find in Dickson.

Ive been here a few times now and I love it! They don't have the largest selection but the books they have are usually very good. The people who work there are very kind and helpful and are very knowledgeable about the books they sell. Definitely worth a visit!

They need more books. I wanted gardening books for my mom's birthday. I asked the woman at the counter where they were. She brought me to a small section with four books
One of the books wasn't even a gardening book. It was called "How to Feed Greens to your Infant." The books didn't appeal to me, so I settled for cookbooks instead. And I couldn't find any appealing young adult fiction books. They need more for people who enjoy different things.

It was a pleasant surprize for us... we had no idea a store of it's kind was in Dickson! And so convenient...right next door to the coffee shop! A good variety, friendly personnel - a nice vice!

This is definitely the best book store you can go to in Dickson. There shop always feels very homey and the staff is always so friendly and nice. I was once looking for a book for my sister and she asked me what type of books she liked and found me 4 or 5 options. Definitely recommend!

I meant to leave this review a while ago but life happens. I believe it was a month ago, it had snowed and as we walked up we saw a sign that said closing early. As we walked in wondering if we were too late to look for a book I wanted, the worker informed us we had time and was very friendly. (I really hate shopping too close to closing time because I know how it is when you need to get stuff done.)
I said I only needed one thing, if she could help me find Good Omens.
She went right to it, asked which cover version I wanted and we talked about the genius that is that book and Neil Gaiman. I left so happy and I absolutely love this book store so much. I wish I could remember the name of the person that helped me, because they are always helpful and obviously know what they are talking about.
So thank you!

Went in here today for the first time and it was a delight. The women working were so outgoing and helpful, clearly all avid book lovers. They had everything very well organized and laid out. I am coming back again and again.

First time visiting it from out of state. Very welcoming environment. There are comfortable chairs to get absorbed in a book and little gift items along with chocolate. Warm and friendly staff of workers too.

Great selection of all types of books. Great gifts spread out through the store too. The two ladies running the shop are friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my time here and already wanting to come back on my next trip to town.

So my days off me and my son have a routine. We go to House Blend for drinks and breakfast and then stop in to get a new book. The people here know him by sight and have ALWAYS made us feel at home here! I am so thankful for my bookstore family!!

Great selection of books and very pleasant atmosphere! Good place to stay and read awhile with its quiet environment. Staff is very helpful- When they have not had a book I wanted, they ordered it for me and I picked it up when it arrived. I really like this bookstore!

Book stores have become so rare, so when I saw the storefront while browsing downtown Dickson I had to go right in! The smell took me back to my childhood. There's just nothing like the smell of books! This store has a great collection of books, both contemporary & classic. The sections were carefully organized and everything felt like you were looking for books in a cozy home rather than a store. We loved the new & the used section. Great store..we will return!

Staff is super friendly and helpful! If you want a specific book they don't carry they can special order it for you. Highly recommend picking up books from this store so it stays around for years to come.
