Great idea for date night! Men if you’re in need of an idea for something fun and different for date night, consider arranging a pottery class here. My wife and I had a great time and enjoyed the new experience. The instructor Carolina was friendly and upbeat and patient with us newbies!

Two hour course:
Shape the clay on the pottery wheel (to a shape of your liking; cup, bowl, etc.)
Dry and then paint your creation.
Once you’re done painting, the instructor keeps your creation for up to two weeks so they can do their part in putting the final touches.

A cool keepsake, guys!

Amazing place, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Renee is just awesome!! She does a great job demostrating the project. She is extremely patient and gives many helpful tips for beautiful outcome of your project. I've been attending the classes for 2+ years and it is soooo much fun making different projects! Highly recommend this place for both adults and children. I have included the pictures of some previous projects!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AMAZING PLACE♥️♥️♥️

My 4 year old son and I enjoyed painting our pottery! The employees were very nice and it was very relaxing. They had a nice selection of things to paint for children and adults. I will definitely go back. However, you do have to leave your pottery for a few days to get it glazed and fired, which my little one was not thrilled about but he will survive!!😁

if they give you the option of having your initials and a symbol glazed to the bottom of your pottery by a staff member, don’t take it!!! I asked for a heart because I thought it would be cute but it was done horribly. When I called, I was told I could sand it down but would be charged again if I took it back to be re-fired. The person I called was nice about it though, so 2 stars.

Can I just say how awesome this place is for a second? I've been to quite a few pottery places, but this one has been the best by far over the years. They got pottery classes, parties, and most places I've been to don't have clay where you can make your own thing, but here you do! Not to mention, other places take weeks to fire your products for pickup. Not here! They told us they needed a week after we painted our stuff, but they were ready within a few days. I was astonished! I will definitely be back sooner than later!

Such a cool cute place, my husband and I went here for valentines and it was perfect! We were able to listen and watch as a small group was doing a little project and we got to hear about all the things they offer. My husband is a bit of an introvert and he mentioned how comfortable it was there and definitely wants to go back. The whole experience was very relaxing.

Really neat place!
I didn't know what to expect, so I was open to anything; it was fun and I'm looking forward to returning to make another piece.
I took my kiddos and they made grandparent Christmas presents. It was pretty easy for the kids to paint and the attendant was very patient with us.

Went here for a pottery class with my husband for our 8th anniversary and had a great time! They taught us so well both of our pieces came out really nice. I can't wait to go back and paint one of the pre-fired pieces for Christmas gifts!

I'm not one to write many reviews but I had a very old statue that was in very bad shape. I didn't think there was any hope for it. I took it to The Cermaic & Pottery Center, what did I have to lose? The transformation was unbelievable. Now I have a beautiful statue to display and I love it.

Update: they had my wrong number and I was finally able to get my pieces.

Still haven't gotten my pieces back after months with me trying to call twice with them telling me they'd call/email me when ready and no call back or emails. I went to throw just paying time on the wheel which is supposed to include firing. It's also super expensive, almost as much as the cost for the classes ($20 per hour). And they have very limited options for times to throw on the wheel if your not in a class. On the other hand it's a cute small studio, maybe they do well just for one off classes and pottery painting/glazing.

On a recent visit to see my sister we were FINALLY able to go to the Ceramic Center! What a wonderful time we had! The three of us, my husband, my sister and myself, did a project. The amount of options are incredible! Choosing was difficult. So many we wanted to do. Brian and I chose the gnome houses while DJ worked on a Christmas tree box. The staff was great! Giving us rookies valued advice on using antique washes, colors, as well as getting us what ever we needed, paints, water etc. I’m looking forward to coming back. 😊

So happy my first pottery wheel experience was at this location! My daughters and I enjoyed the turning clay on the pottery wheel and painting our creations. The instructor was patient with us and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Super fun for kids, teens, or adults great place for a date. Pick out a sculpture and paint it lots of colors to choose from. Got our pottery back in less than a week after painting.

They had pre made ceramics. My kid went here for a preschool field trip. They had the kids paint them. They initialed them and a few weeks later we got them back. My kid picked a reindeer. I'm planning to give it to her for Xmas a when she is older and won't break it. I think she had a lot of fun.

I love visiting! I signed up for the 4 week pottery wheel class and then signed up for 4 more when my sessions were complete. Renee is very talented and a great teacher! The staff is friendly and helpful, it’s a very comfortable place. I would highly recommend this place!

We love it here!! We had my daughters 6th birthday party here and it was perfect! Carolina was very attentive and very helpful to 16 little girls . The parents and kids all had an awesome time! Plus we enjoy going throughout the year! The staff is always helpful!! We will always come back!!

I took my daughter and granddaughter here a few years ago and again early this month while visiting them. It was a nice experience to spend time with my granddaughter and have her paint something. My granddaughter painted a small tile for me that the owner was nice enough to ship to me. She wrapped it very well for shipping and it arrived last week in perfect condition.

The Ceramic and Pottery Center has been my go to place for all the fired arts since 2010. I appreciate the fact that our community still has a place to learn and make pottery, fused-glass and metal clay art. I have learned so much in classes and in person from Renee, the owner and resident artist. Without a local shop like this, I would have spent a lot more money learning these crafts remotely. It's easy to take for granted how easy Renee has made it for us to stop by and purchase our supplies, take a really reasonably priced class and get our work fired for us. After so many years doing it all on her own, Renee found a real gem to work with her...Carolina. Not only is Carolina knowledgeable and hard working, but she is a bright light in the shop. When I'm tired of working at home by myself I go down to the Ceramic and Pottery Center and work. I always come away cheered; the nicest people come and go. If you haven't been in, make a point to find this local gem.

Definitely not going back. The owner of this place will do anything to make a penny. Had a birthday party for my 11 year old daughter. Ten children showed up and several of the parents stayed in addition to my mother and sister. (7 adults total including me) At the end of the party the owner charged me an additional $3 per adult. (Including myself) When I inquired about the additional fee she rudely stated she can’t use the room for anything else while having a party therefore charges a fee for every adult that chooses to stay with their child. The adults stood up the whole time and helped me serve the food and clean up through the party because the ladies there were of absolutely no help. The parents never even sat down! Very disappointed about the way the owner handled this and underhandedly waited to the very end of the party to charge me an additional fee! Anything to make a penny. It wasn’t worth ruining my child’s party over so I quietly paid for the party and additional fees. I definitely left with a bad taste I’m my mouth. One of the mothers was actually inquiring about a party for her daughter but quickly changed her mind when she overheard the way the owner spoke to me and handled the situation. The experience would have been much more pleasant had the owner not been so greedy, it threw off the vibe. My suggestion, take your kids someplace nicer.

The ladies here are wonderful! They helped me with all of my questions. Kept me updated on the progress of my piece. And were very patient when my cranky toddler was not. Thank you for helping me make this gift a reality

This place is great, the staff, the items they have to paint. It’s truly awesome. My first visit was yesterday and I truly can say I have never felt more relaxed than, sitting and painting on a coffee mug. Definitely want to do more of this. Love love love.

Wonderful place to go. Great selection of greenware and bisque to find something to work on. They have great classes for every level. You can even do glass pieces. Kids and adults will have hours of fun making pieces that will last a lifetime.

The older lady made us wait 20 minutes to help some one, the young girl was trying to help us check out. Older lady wouldn't give her the code, and then decided to sign in and help the gentleman she was helping instead of giving the cashier code to help us check out. Two people there, but only one person checking out? Makes no sense.

I went with several children ages 4-8 to just drop in and paint a ready made item. We had a great time. The attending workers were very helpful laying out paints, finding the right colors, and making suggestions. Our item was done later that week and I picked it up.
