The food was very good, the drip coffee… not so much.
The servers were very nice. This place feels like a 2010’s time capsule, especially with the live do they had.

Hip, loud, boozy, expensive, mediocre food.

We were honestly disappointed upon coming here. It has a great location, is very new and high energy, but that’s about all the good I can say.

The food was very overpriced for the quality. I ordered the chicken and waffles (because of course I did) and was met with a boring waffle, a fried chicken cutlet, and an entire mountain of fried green onions. It was fun at first, but I honestly was very underwhelmed. For nearing 20$, I had hoped it would be something more akin to what Sunday’s Best offers, a novel and delicious take, while still quite pricey.

My wife ordered the birria scramble, which honestly had some pretty good flavour, but was very hard to eat, and we ended up not finishing that off.

We ordered the Benedict fries, and these were the only thing we were genuinely impressed by. They were delicious (fries, bacon, cheese, egg, who would have thought??) but very pricey as well.

This is not a very kid friendly establishment, as the food is very… unique, expensive, and difficult, not to mention the volume level and amount of alcohol present. It’s more of a breakfast bar, if that’s your speed, go for it.

We ourselves don’t drink, but taking a look at the alcohol menu we saw most drinks ranging from around 16-24$, and looking relatively small.

Make your own decision, but we were disappointed, leaving with our wallet empty and our stomachs unhappy. Our total bill ended up being around 70$, and the minimum recommended tip amount was 24%!!!! Everyone has their own take on tipping, but the service we were provided was not equitable to that level of tipping.

There was a wait of about 15 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. The ambience and service were good. The concept of making your own Bloody Marys and donuts was really cool. I got an avocado toast which was huge but tasted pretty good. The best thing out of all was the coffee. I got an alitalia and it was so good, I could just go back to have the coffee alone.

My first time at Hash Kitchen and it was amazing! I've seen the lines out the door on weekends, so a mid-day Friday get-out-of-the-office for brunch was in order and was a great time to go! We had the Benedict Fries as an opener with mimosas (duh), which were so yummy and gave us a preview of their hollandaise sauce on top of a zip with the roasted jalapeno on the side. I had a gluten free waffle with berries for my main. I haven't had a waffle (outside of being homemade in my own kitchen, boring) in years since my Celiac diagnosis, so this huge waffle hit the sweet spot with a hint of vanilla and maybe even a little almond and a fluffy inside. Top it all off with great service, fun vibes, and the 'Bad Idea' cocktail being the best idea ever - I'm definitely going back!

The atmosphere was fun, lots of sparkle and fun and good energy around! Definitely different than any brunch place I’ve been to in the Salt Lake area so a great change of pace. That being said, the food was mediocre and expensive. Two in our group requested over-medium eggs in our dishes, and both plates had eggs that were on the underdone side of over easy (I’m talking large clumps of raw egg white), which was pretty disappointing. I will say that the french toast looked scrumptious, so that might have to be on the list to try next time.

The food and staff are excellent. It is so so loud in there cause they have a dj or something. They tried to seat us in a quieter part which was kind of the staff, but it was still louder than I was really comfortable with. I will absolutely go back in the summer when I can sit outside.

This was awesome but they got rid of things that made it unique. They got rid of the bloody marry cart for example and crammed in more seats. I'm from nyc and the seats at parts of this restaurant were tighter than seating there. Seems like they figured out it's a hit and wanted to cut costs to drive up the profit on this place. Won't be coming back.

Food is great. They advertise on their website that you can join the waitlist but the “wait” doesn’t start until you check in. What’s the point of getting on the waitlist early? That needs to be added to your website. All other companies start the wait when you add yourself to the waitlist online.

We sat for 15 mins with no service. The place was empty. Once we stood up to leave someone finally noticed we were even there. We watch as people stood around for plenty of time. Sadly we would have like to try things but we did not eve get served water.

I’ve been a regular at this breakfast spot for a while now and have always appreciated the cozy atmosphere and tasty food. Unfortunately, during my recent visit, things didn’t live up to their usual standard.

The service was noticeably slower than usual, with long waits to place our order and to receive our food. The staff seemed overwhelmed, which was surprising given that it wasn’t particularly busy.

As for the food, it was decent but lacked the freshness and attention to detail that I’ve come to expect. My pancakes were a bit overcooked, and the coffee wasn’t as hot or flavorful as it usually is.

I’m giving three stars because of the good experiences I’ve had in the past, and I’m hopeful this was just an off day. I’d still recommend giving them a try, but I hope they can address these recent issues and get back to being the great breakfast spot they once were.

If you want a more relaxed vibe of this place, go on a weekday🎶🔉. If you like the live dj loud night club brunch vibe go on the weekends🎧🎚🔊. I'm updating my review upon trying both, it's the same great food and service either way but the vibe totally changes with the music volume, seating capacity and wait time for tables.

It's popping on the weekends and waiting for a table takes quite a long time🧍‍♂️🧍‍♀️🧍, so only go Fri-Sun if you're willing to wait up to 2 hours for a table.(It's worth it in my opinion. 😉) If not and you're looking for a quick bite, go on a weekday Mon-Thur. It'd be more chill and I'm typically seated within 15 minutes, if not immediately🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🚶.

My favorite menu items are the Bunchilada stack and the Bread Pudding French toast sticks. 😋

P.S. They have a pet & service animal friendly outdoor patio seating area. 🐕‍🦺🐕🐩🦮 💖

This place gets one star because it won’t post a review with zero stars! No stars is what it deserves!! I have dined in nearly every state and many countries and this was my worst restaurant experience ever. An absolutely horrible experience here today. After waiting an hour we were shown where our table was and told they would seat us as soon as they had it all set up. After another 15 minutes we saw another group taking that table! When we asked why—the manager said this other group was ahead of us. What??? Where did they even come from? Every member of our large party of 13 was present as requested and we were on the waitlist before even waiting an hour. This other large group appeared out of nowhere and they were ahead of us??? Ridiculous! The rude manager who lacks customer service skills and who failed to exhibit organizational ability said it would be about another 20 minutes. We left and will never return to Hash Kitchen! Another restaurant took great care of us and we enjoyed a peaceful brunch where we didn’t have to yell over a crazy making loud DJ.

One of us ordered corn beef hash with no onions, when she found onions in her food and told the server the servers response was “Well I mean there’s onions in the potatoes but they left them off the hash” that’s probably something you might want to mention when someone orders it with no onions it was kind of like a duh, u should know there’s onions in our potatoes.. I ordered the Benedict fries. They sounded super good in description, but not so good in reality. The loads of seasoning on the fries was something that I just didn’t care for, it ruined the whole meal for me. Both dishes were salty.. and I love salt. Service wasn’t bad but it sure wasn’t with a smile.

Had a great experience here! Everything was so delicious & our server Chloe was so nice & made great recommendations.
We ordered the birria nacho hash, the juevos rancheros hash, and the bread pudding French toast.
The portions of hash are massive! But everything was fresh & deicious & they do not skimp on the meat.
The bread pudding French toast was our favorite. Crispy crunchy & not too sweet.
Loved this place and it’s my new favorite brunch spot in Draper. :) will definitely be back!

Sad. I liked this place until I came in and got a long blond hair embedded in my hollandaise. The meal came, I went to put my fork into it and when I pulled the fork to me, a long blond hair trailed behind. I didn’t pull it out all the way. It wasn’t on top that I could remove it, it was deeply embedded in the hollandaise or the meat.

Of course I sent it back. When the manager finally brought the new meal, he said that no one really understood how there was a blond hair in the food, because no blond person had been there since the day before. I asked if he saw it. He said he hadn’t. I wonder if he thought I was lying or planted the hair. Next time I’ll take a video.

I began thinking about what he said, that no one with blond hair had been there since yesterday, and it made me realize that the hair had been stewing in their premade hollandaise sauce or meat. I couldn’t eat my meal.

What’s most disappointing is they didn’t comp my meal or the order. I wanted to ask for it, but I was with someone who cannot handle conflict. I paid and left. I should post this on social media.

My wife and I love breakfast. We try to go to all of them. I am very Particular about breakfast restaurants specifically. Most breakfast restaurants in Utah that I’m told to go to by “everybody” are terrible. We found one that we loved and we’ve been going for a long time every time we go out to breakfast. But we didn’t want to drive that far today so we tried Hash Kitchen because we’ve never been there. The food and service here are top-notch, extremely flavorful food And kind prompt service. I had the Biscuits and Gravy and my wife had the Birria Hash. I did order a side of the chicken sausage, as sausage is my favorite thing on the planet. it wasn’t that good. Felt like maybe it had been reheated. But as an owner of a food establishment myself, I know you can’t win them all all the time. So I’ll let that pass because everything else was that good. It’s just nice to have a second breakfast restaurant that we can go to. Especially when it’s a little closer to home

Don't go here if you value customer service or want to talk to the person next to you. Service is horrible. They put 10 people on a very small table. So right that the waiter at the table next to us when trying to take an order had had butt less than an inch from my husband's face, sitting at our table. Had to ask for silverware, enough chairs, very rude reply to each request. Had to wait for a table even though the restaurant was empty and 7 of the 10 were there. They didn't even start to set up the table and acted like we weren't there.

Beware this is like going to a club with horrible service, very loud! Won't place an order for another drink, champagne, without you finishing precious and giving them the glass. This is their own alcohol rule as this is not Utah laws.

Great spot for brunch and anything else! I got the banana split french toast and loved it! It was a lot of food of course but I really enjoyed it and the staff were also friendly! Not the cheapest of places which is to be expected with a place like this but in my opinion the quality makes up for it, I would definitely recommend!

Our quoted wait time of 30 min became an hour. When we asked about how much longer to be seated after waiting 50 min they told us we were next on the list and kept seating bigger groups(clearly they only care about bigger groups). Food was nothing special. Chicken for the chicken and waffles was as thin as they could get it. I asked for over easy eggs on top, they forgot them the first run and then brought hard boiled, had to send them back. Music so loud you can't talk or hear. Food all over the floor and under our feet while dining. We expressed our disappointment with our waiter and he said "sorry, Sundays are crazy." Won't be back or recommend them.

Delicious, seriously delicious. Waited a bit to get sat, around 30 mins. Worth it. Service was attentive without being too overbearing thanks to Brennan, our guy. Hashes were top notch, and pancake was just right, not too sweet by itself, and the right outside crunch.

Loved the food and cute interior!!! Great for brunch with the girls. I thought the price was totally worth the amount of food you get.
The only negatives is that the music is a little loud and I had an interesting experience with our waiter: was meeting a friend and ended up being 10 minutes late (friend knew I was running late), but when I sat down the waiter came to me and said “look who decided to join us.” Found it to be disrespectful and rude and frankly none of his business. But other than that would recommend :)

I love this place! If you are ever looking for a brunch spot, this is the best place! Our waitress Ro was exceptional. I love all the different and creative food choices they have. Will definitely be going back many more times.

Don’t recommend. We came in today 20 minutes before closing and were told we had 5 minutes to order by the hostess. And then she asked if we wanted any coffee and my husband said he didn’t want any and before I could even answer she was walking away. I really don’t recommend this place. I did end up getting coffe and the Coffee was not hot, neither were the donuts. They didn’t even give me a spoon for my coffee, had to stir it with a knife. Then they skimmed me on the change. Told me “they don’t have change” well if you don’t have change, you shouldn’t accept cash. Period.

Was not busy at all at 11:30 am on a weekday yet our service was horrible. Waters empty, we had to send a member of our party to find our waiter for checks. Only then were we asked if anyone needed a box.

Very expensive for what you get for ok food. The syrup is so thick it’s barely pourable.

Has some fun drinks and the atmosphere is cool. That’s the only thing I liked.

We came in on a Saturday morning with a group of 10 and were seated super quickly. Ro was our waitress and was phenomenal. She was so friendly and accommodating to us. The food was also delicious! I had the carnitas hash and would definitely recommend!

Had a great brunch at Hash Kitchen. If you're looking for an upbeat atmosphere, this is your place. Donut bar, bloody mary bar, and great food. Our waitress was attentive and super sweet. We had a short wait when we visited on a Sunday afternoon. I definitely recommend if you're in the area.

If you want to go to the club and eat your meal at the same time, this is the place. I enjoyed the food. But by the time I left, I had a headache and I wasn't in a great mood. Having to yell to be heard by the people sitting at my table is not my idea of a good time.

Lady that seated us left menus and never let us know a waiter/waitress would be coming. Waited 15+ minutes to even be acknowledged by anybody, meanwhile 2 white men came in AFTER us, got seated and served before us. Mind you, the waiter that served these men walked around our entire section making sure everybody else was okay asking them if they needed anything, stops, looks at my husband and I, and walks away. We were not even acknowledged until my husband got up to say something and then a waiter finally came to take our orders.

Food is overpriced for the quality and service overall was extremely disappointing. My husband and I are Polynesian and unfortunately felt like we were being avoided as soon as we arrived. I should have taken that as a red flag and left immediately but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and try this restaurant for the first time.

I truly hope that nobody else ever has to experience this kind of service again. As much as my husband and I were looking forward to dining in at this restaurant, we will not be recommending this establishment to any of our family and friends.

Hip, loud, boozy, expensive, mediocre food.

We were honestly disappointed upon coming here. It has a great location, is very new and high energy, but that’s about all the good I can say.

The food was very overpriced for the quality. I ordered the chicken and waffles (because of course I did) and was met with a boring waffle, a fried chicken cutlet, and an entire mountain of fried green onions. It was fun at first, but I honestly was very underwhelmed. For nearing 20$, I had hoped it would be something more akin to what Sunday’s Best offers, a novel and delicious take, while still quite pricey.

My wife ordered the birria scramble, which honestly had some pretty good flavour, but was very hard to eat, and we ended up not finishing that off.

We ordered the Benedict fries, and these were the only thing we were genuinely impressed by. They were delicious (fries, bacon, cheese, egg, who would have thought??) but very pricey as well.

This is not a very kid friendly establishment, as the food is very… unique, expensive, and difficult, not to mention the volume level and amount of alcohol present. It’s more of a breakfast bar, if that’s your speed, go for it.

We ourselves don’t drink, but taking a look at the alcohol menu we saw most drinks ranging from around 16-24$, and looking relatively small.

Make your own decision, but we were disappointed, leaving with our wallet empty and our stomachs unhappy. Our total bill ended up being around 70$, and the minimum recommended tip amount was 24%!!!! Everyone has their own take on tipping, but the service we were provided was not equitable to that level of tipping.

This great has an amazing atmosphere, they had a DJ playing and she was great but it can be a little loud but we just asked to be seated outside since the weather was perfect! I hade the Birria hash and as a Mexican I can say they did an amazing job on the flavor. They had a wide range of food choices and my familia loved everything that they had. Very unique place and portion sizes were very fair for the prices they have on them.

Our server was amazing, but unfortunately that is where the positive experience ended. Our food was bland, and the portion sizes were extremely overpriced for the quality and size. I order the birria nachos, and they honestly were under seasoned… like if you’re gonna serve birria it’s gotta be bursting with flavor otherwise it’s going to be disappointing. My partner got the ranchero burger and once again, it wasn’t terrible but just extremely under seasoned and the portion size was disappointing for the price. We shared a side of the Benedict fries and while they were quite good, the portion size was extremely small for costing $15. We ordered a Classic bloody mary and the boba bear. the bloody mary was delicious, albeit the rim was lacking on a satisfying amount of seasoning. the boba bear was good but the “souvenir” cup ruined the ability to drink all of it. Once again, very overpriced. The music was absolutely blaring and it was hard to have a conversation. Overall the experience was extremely overwhelming and I would say definitely NOT with the hype of price tag considering the overall lack of flavor and “wow” factor that they are trying so hard to accomplish. It feels like most of their business comes from their aesthetic back drops.

There was a wait of about 15 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. The ambience and service were good. The concept of making your own Bloody Marys and donuts was really cool. I got an avocado toast which was huge but tasted pretty good. The best thing out of all was the coffee. I got an alitalia and it was so good, I could just go back to have the coffee alone.

Delicious food and large portions: one opener and one entree is PLENTY for two people.

the vibe is very influencer-y, which isn't really my thing. And service was stretched a little thin with a large Sunday crowd.

but these are very minor issues and shouldn't keep you from adding HK to your brunch spot options.

I’m a middle-aged woman so take that into account when you read this! The food was amazing. We had the banana bread pancakes and the birria hash and every bite was delicious. Considering the quality and portion sizes the prices are what I would expect. But the music is way too loud! It’s geared toward a younger crowd. I’m going to wait to come back until the weather is cooler so I can sit outside.

Came here with the in laws for breakfast. Madi was our waitress. Food was great!! Loved the music. Biscuits and gravy was very good. Madi was a great waitress. Made sure we had everything we need for our food and despite being a busy restaurant Madi always came back to check on us coffee was also veery very good. Try the donuts

We arrived a little before 10 and were seated immediately (outside) and by the time we ordered our food there was a long line around the front of the building. My tamale benedict was amazing but the poached eggs were a little overcooked. My boyfriend’s basic breakfast was good, best bacon we’ve ever had, but also his eggs were overcooked (over medium is supposed to be slightly runny, not almost fully cooked). There are lots of good looking things on the menu, but I’m actually not sure if I want to spend that kind of money to come back and ask them not to overcook the eggs. Breakfast places should know how to make eggs, at the very least. The specialty coffee I tried was mostly ice. Also, the live DJ is a cool idea but even outside the volume is much too loud. I understand it’s part of their vibe but I like being able to talk across the table without shouting, especially before 7 pm.

Overall a 5/5 experience. If you want a more quiet brunch I would spring for outdoor seating. We sat indoor and it was way too loud. However the food was so delectable. We got the avocado toast and the carnitas skillet. Avocado toast was delicious but the brioche bread is SUPER thick. Kind of takes away from the rest of the dish. The carnitas skillet though was perfect, tender meat, soft eggs, crispy potatoes, and fresh avocados makes a wonderful bite. We would definitely come again but sit outside lol

A little pricey compared to some options, however 100% is worth every penny. Would recommend their French toast sticks with the Crème’Brûlée dipping sauce, they are very thick and have a very good texture and taste.

Arrived at 8:35 am and ordered breakfast before a 9 :30 meeting. Waited until 9:15, still no pancakes. Had to have them prepare it to go so we could make the 9:30 meeting. Should never take what long to make pancakes. Food was good once we had the chance to eat it.

Not only is Hash Kitchen made for instagrammable moments, but the food and service is amazing as well. The cannoli donuts are a surprisingly delicious treat, and give the bread pudding french toast sticks a try for a sweet treat to share with the table! I love the breakfast burrito, and all their egg dishes are fantastic. The birria hash is delicious as well, and if you love a good jalapeno cornbread the hangover hash can't be beat. Price is slightly higher than other brunch options, but you get a fun atmosphere (brunch DJ!), delicious food, and great service - and each time we've come I've gone home with leftovers which helps balance out the cost. Each time we've visited the manager has come by to check on us personally which is an awesome touch. Even if instagram vibes aren't your thing, give it a try!

The food blew me away. I’m not typically a breakfast person but every item on the menu was next level. I was with a group which ordered about 8 different things. Each thing was unique and so different and so delicious. Well done on everything.

The music was super loud which made it a bit difficult to communicate but overall I’m sure added to the vibe - which was pretty awesome.

This place has a beautiful atmosphere, with a lot of aesthetic decorations and it even has a donut bar :0, it look so cute for pictures and everyone. The food was also very delicious, I had banana pancakes and they were huge and so sweet, I couldn't finished them, and the burrito was so good, like a burrito breakfast with eggs I would definitely buy it again. I would definitely go here again for breakfast 100% recommend.

Just WOW! Love the decor. I love coffee, so a large delicious cappuccino is a fast way to win me over. They are pretty packed and service was slow (again, they were packed, so it makes sense). Over all, I would go again for a cappuccino and hash :).

11/10 for atmosphere. So fun, and the DJ just makes it all so good! At least on a Saturday 😂 it wasn’t crazy busy either. Got seated quickly and the menu looked so good! Only got the birria hash and it was so good. Definitely coming back to try the donut bar and the banana pancakes. There were so many things I wanted to try. Service was quick. Food is a bit pricier but that wouldn’t stop me from coming in again.

Such a fun little place! Our food was delicious (I got the Salmon Benedict), our server Jeanine was absolutely stellar with every part of our meal, and the VIBE of this place is awesome. The attention to detail from the cute mugs, names of the dishes, to the pebble ice is perfect too. Will be coming again with my whole family next time!
