The hair dressers were great with my child. But the hair cut is awful. Way shorter than asked and not blended at all. I now have to take him somewhere to have it fixed and it’s going to be a good 3+ inches shorter at least to have it fixed.

Edit to add a photo and while I am thankful the salon reached out to fix the issue I was not comfortable with them doing so. It’s going to take awhile for his hair to grow out to achieve a style we like and not look like a girls “bob”.

I don’t ever do reviews but I feel like I had to do this one, I went to cookie cutters in Orem when my son was 1 I had the worst experience there I did the first haircut didn’t get his certificate and when I asked to take some of his hair the girl looked at me like I was crazy then told me I could grab some off the floor and didn’t even give me a bag to put it in she didn’t talk the whole time just horrible told myself I will never go back to other one! Fast forward to today no barber shop would take my 2 year old so I just decided to take him because he needed a haircut bad I had Madison and it was the best experience I will be going back to her over and over again till he’s old enough to go to a barber shop! She was so sweet had conversations with me was very patient with my son and she even asked if I wanted to keep some of my hair got me a baggy then came back up to me when I was paying and asked if I wanted more hair put it in a bag and gave it me! There was another girl that came over and played bubbles with my son when he would start to cry and I couldn’t thank them enough for this amazing experience

We LOVE Cookie Cutters in Bountiful! We are disappointed in the Draper location! I took my kids there the weekend before school started - my own fault, I didn't realize they would be so busy (as in, 3 times the fire code) We did have appointments though, and were seen approximately on time. The kids didn't get much attention, but I chalked it up to the insanity. We brought our son back about a month ago. He returned with a turkey tail on his crown which I've never seen before, a drastically diagonal hair line across his forehead and very poorly trimmed nape. I've done better myself. Unfortunately he got his hair cut while in the custody of my ex (who somehow didn't notice?), so when I got him back a few days later it was too late to take him back to the salon and try to get it fixed.

We brought our 3 year old in for her very first haircut. Syren was so wonderful with our daughter who has severe disabilities and is unable to sit unassisted. She has really curly hair in the back with very straight pieces in the front and her haircut went so perfect. The time and attention Syren took was very much appreciated as we had been so nervous for our girls first haircut. We will definitely be back after such a wonderful experience!

The ladies at cookies cutters haircuts are amazing and beautiful especially Missy they really know how to cut kids hair there is no one better we took our grandson to them and our grandsons stylist Missy was amazing and knew how to cut hair and our grandson sat totally still he is 15 months old and they made you feel like family they are really good for all types of kids i will never go anywhere else the staff is amazing and they know how to interact with your toddler/ kid to keep them calm to and enjoy the experience especially Missy she is the best I would recommend her

Nice people but the haircut was subpar. I had to fix it myself. Asked for a #2 fade, Cesar cut for my son. The stylist left a lot of long areas. I think her taped up clippers were not working well. Anyways wouldn’t recommend this place.

usually go to bountiful location, but moved down here, i honestly didn’t like my experience. my daughters hair was braided by a girl and her part is so sideways. doesn’t even look like she made effort to try, and at the end they didn’t even offer us a balloon like the other location, my daughter asked the girl for a balloon and was ignored, because she was talking and laughing with another person paying no attention to us when we are just standing there waiting for her attention. i will never come here again. service was not as what i expected and could be much better.

My daughter wanted a pretty drastic haircut, shavingtheside of her head, but I wanted to test it first the gal there helped me decide on doing braids on the side first to kinda get the look and feelwithourcommittibg to the cut quite yet. Then if my daufhterstill liked it, we'd go for the cut. Well, she still liked it and we did the cut. She wad nervous about the buzzer sound so the stylist showed her that it can only cut hair. Now my kiddo is rocking new cut and asked to go back!

The Location out in Draper is the best, of the 3 that I have taken my 2 boys ti get their hair cuts, but the down fall Is that they have fewer employees so when you book online, or call to get appointment, they are at least 3 days out and that on a slow week! I have waited 1 week most times . Ashley is my favorite ! She even did a cook design in the side of my little boys head with the cut! He felt super cool for 1 week!

The stylist was cutting my grandkids hair tonight. He was wearing a mask... his choice. The stylist removed his mask and took it over to his Dad and said, "We believe in oxygen here."

Talk about over-reach! This stylist has obviously decided that she can remove a kids mask because she doesn't agree with masking and of course, she knows best 😤.

She didn't ask the Dad or the kid, she just removed it and took it over to the dad with the rude comment. I would never go to this place. Whether you believe in masking or not, it is not your place to decide for others. What a tool!

Loved this! My sons first hair cut and I thought it was awesome that you could get yours cut too! Put on my son's favorite show(Scooby-Doo) and I got to watch the whole experience. I got my hair cut correctly and the stylist I had knew exactly what she was doing and the other one knew exactly how to handle my son and the best style for him. Also, personable and felt a little like a family ran shop. I will absolutely come take my son back to that shop( and maybe myself). Thank you for making the experience awesome.

Great service, friendly people. My daughter is a teen and at first was hesitant to go into a “kiddie” place, but she had a great stylist and she got to watch a favorite movie, we got advice on dealing with some hair issues... then we saw a couple other teens popping in for cuts when we left. I love cookie cutters! My two year old enjoys how well they entertain him with suckers, balloons, and a movie while he gets his hair cut! This is an excellent place to take your kiddos for their haircuts! My toddler loves the slide in the waiting area, as well as sitting in an airplane, fire engine, or car of his choice while he gets his hair done!

Not only do they do a great job at cutting and filling my boys hair, but they get to know their clients and care about our lives. My 4 year old twin girls were begging to have their hair cut. The staff here were friendly and professional. They provided a little bag for me to save a piece of hair (first hair cut). My only complaint is that I scheduled a cut and shampoo and they didn't get a shampoo but I still got charged for it.

I was actually nervous about going here because my son had 2 previous haircuts at a different location and they turned out horrible, but this place did a really good job. The lady did a great job at calming my boy especially since he always cries when getting his haircut. I do wish his hair was left a little longer but he still looks cute and the lady cleaned it up nicely.

I have had multiple stylists here and average hair cuts. My last one was the end for me. Hair cut uneven and rushed due to the client before taking longer than anticipated. My son left COVERED in hair. I had to strip his carseat it was so bad. I had to shower us both as soon as we got home. What a mess. Not worth what they charge at ALL. My som gets the same cut every single time and out of the 30+ times I have been there maybe 10 have been great.

I went in as a walk in to get my sons haircut, wasn’t busy at all. Only one person doing a haircut, I don’t understand why you would ever just have one person cutting hair at a salon as a time. We walked
In, wasn’t greeted or anything and when she was done she then tells me she is waiting for someone who is late to their apt and has to give them 5 minutes which they where late five minutes.. By the time they person showed up she could of cut my sons hair, well they lost my business and will not be going back.

These guys do a great job with my 3 boys. I'm always amazed to see the stylists adeptly cut my toddlers' hair while they are moving all around. Ryan and McKenzie are fantastic. They are up to date with kids styles. All 3 of my boys go to Ryan mainly. He is fast and very personable. They talk about him as if he is a close family friend and though they don't like taking time for haircuts they don't mind as much since it's Cookie Cutters. Quick to get scheduled and great cuts.. My boys are 10, 10 and 14.

We have been bringing our son with autism to this Cookie Cutters for 6 years now and it's the only place we'll go. Haircuts are very difficult for our son because of his sensory sensitivities. The suckers, the balloons, the slide, the fun vehicle seats, the TVs to watch whatever your kid likes during their haircut, the buckets of toys at each station... All of these things serve as a great distraction during what is a very difficult and traumatic thing for our boy. But the best part of all is that we LOVE our stylist Mackenzie! She is super fast, doesn't mind getting the occasional little fist in her face and does a fantastic job! She and the other stylists we've loved there have been so patient and kind with us and our son in spite of his difficulties. The prices are fair and we'll never go anywhere else for kids haircuts. We have had a few stylists who haven't done the greatest job, but overall, everyone we've worked with there is super friendly and fast and skilled.

Great haircut for my son! Kept him distracted with suckers and a show. Also had a fun play area while we waited.

My son thinks it's a treat to get his hair cut here. He loves the slide in the front, the TVs to watch during his cut and the balloon and aucker afterward. I love the prices and how quick it usually is.

This place is amazing! I took my son there for his first ever hair cut and I couldn't believe how easy she made it look. The stylist put my son in a cute chair, put on a movie he liked, and made sure he saw every step of what she was doing. He loved playing in the chair and even though his head was all over the place looking at everything she was still able to give him a cute hair cut and keep him happy. It took a max of 10 minutes and we were out. Will definitely be back!

This is the worst place ever!!!! I took my granddaughter in to get a haircut. Her hair was to the middle of her back. We wanted a Bob style cut with it stacked in the back. Hair was to be cut to her shoulders. Well her hair ended up to her ears. Nothing cut even. One side longer than the other side. Worst hair cut ever. The only reason they have one star is because you can't give anything lower.

I went to their website left a contact telling therm this the night it was done. Four days later still no word from them. I will have to now take her somewhere else to have this fixed if it can be at this short cut. She is so upset. They flat out don't care about their customers. She was more worried about a child that was there watching tv and not minding his Mom than she was about doing her job.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER GO HERE!!!
