I recently purchased a brand-new 2024 Coachmen Mirada 32LS Class A motorhome from General RV, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Bam, my sales rep, went above and beyond to help me find the perfect RV for my needs.

I came from a big fifth-wheel toy hauler and spent months researching, test-driving, and negotiating. I was on FaceTime calls with dealerships across the country and visiting other local dealerships during my search. Some of those experiences were downright miserable—sales reps who didn’t know their inventory, couldn’t explain basic differences like Super C vs. Class C, or just didn’t seem to care.

Bam, on the other hand, was a constant in the process. His extensive knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to help stood out. When he didn’t know the answer to a question, he was honest about it and made sure to find the information I needed. He guided me every step of the way, from trade-in value to financing and all the details in between.

Initially, I was set on a Super C motorhome, but I couldn’t find one that checked all my boxes. Bam listened to what I wanted in a motorhome—towing capacity, features, and budget—and after not really finding what I wanted in a Super C he encouraged me to consider gas-powered Class A motorhomes. I had ruled out both gas engines and Class A’s at the start of my search, but thanks to Bam’s suggestions, I gave the Mirada 32LS a chance. It ended up being the perfect fit, and we even came in slightly under my budget!

We picked up our new rig on December 20th and took it on its first trip just after Christmas, heading to Moab to visit Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. One of my main concerns with going gas over diesel was towing capacity, but our RV handled towing our Jeep Grand Cherokee on a flatbed trailer like a champ. The gas engine performed wonderfully, and we couldn’t be happier with our purchase.

We recently purchased another 5th wheel trailer from General RV. This is the third trailer we have purchased from General RV and, as always, the experience was fantastic!
Blake Kranenbuhl was our sales rep on our prior trailer as well as this latest one. Aaron Nall was our financial advisor and Connor was the service rep that walked us through the functions of our new trailer.
What a great team!
Blake is an amazing individual. He has a great personality and goes out of his way to ensure you have a good experience from start to finish. Blake is very knowledgeable about RV's and will not steer you wrong. Blake was extremely patient and more than willing to listen to all my stupid jokes. He even laughed at a couple. If you are looking for a sales professional that is patient and will take the time needed to find an RV that fits your needs, then Blake is your guy. He will ensure you have a great experience and are happy with the end result.
Aaron helped us with the financial side of purchasing our trailer. This guy deserves an award! We were dead set on securing our own financing through our own credit union, which Aaron would have let us do if we were not going to listen to him. Thankfully, he was able to help us come to our senses and listen to his advice. He was able to get us a better deal that gave us more flexibility and was a better package overall. He saved us from making a big financial mistake while not making us feel like total idiots.
Connor was the service rep that helped us with our walk through the day we picked up our trailer. We had worked with Connor’s brother, Jack, when we did the walk through on our last trailer and were disappointed when he wasn’t available this time. We should not have been worried. Connor was every bit as good as his brother and did not disappoint. I am a bit thick headed at times and need things explained more than once. Connor was extremely patient and was able to help me despite myself.

So yesterday August 10th 2024 I bought a clipper 9000 ROK. I was very concerned with the process from all the horror stories I read online and in videos but I worked with Loyle the salesmen and he was very helpful in answering all my questions and Troy in finance was very nice and got me the sales contract and everything up when I asked. So I knew what I was getting into before I left Phoenix cuz it's a 600 mile drive and since it was my first trailer Connor was very helpful in showing me everything making sure that I knew how to hitch it up. I can't speak for anyone else but so far I'm very happy with my experience here and it was very good and for buying out of state. I feel like they made it very easy and alleviated my concerns. I will say though you really need to do your research and know what you're doing as much as you can before you buy a trailer cuz that helped a lot too so I knew what questions asked and understand the process, especially the part about buying out of state with registration and everything.

The purchase of our new 2023 Apex Nano Off Grid travel trailer from General RV in Dover Florida was a very pleasant experience thanks to the entire staff there. Our salesman “Yorkshire Dave”, as he was affectionately called by his colleagues due to his English roots, made our buying experience completely stress free. Dave sat down with us to formulate an idea of what we desired in a travel trailer and then loaded us up in a golf cart and showcased several trailers that fit our needs. At no time did he try to pressure us to buy let alone buy more than we wanted. He made it clear that we had all the time we wanted in order to refine our search. Even after we narrowed down our decision Dave took us back to view our final selections one last time to solidify our ultimately choice. He explained all the features in “our” trailer, answered all our questions and helped with the purchase parameters. All in all “Yorkshire Dave” was a great salesman to deal with. We could not recommend him more.

*Update 3-15-2024: I just got my RV back from being fixed for some warranty work, and it was an overall amazing experience! Alyssa in the Service department kept me in the know through the whole process. She got us an appointment within a day of us calling. She coordinated all the work orders and made using our aftermarket warranty sooooo easy. Those on the fence with purchasing the aftermarket warranty should rest assured that between General RV giving priority to customers in the service department and amazing service coordinators like Alyssa make the whole process extremely easy, it was well worth the additional cost. I love the fact she kept us up to date with anything going on through text message being I hate to talk on the phone.*

Never had a bad experience with General RV. Always helpful, great deals, and just an all-around great experience when buying an RV or working with their service center. We've purchased a few RVs from them over the years and will continue to do business with them for years to come.

Purchased a brand new Forest River Impression from Brett “Bam” Moore and 38 miles into our 12 month trip the left side wheels fell off! Needless to say we were very disappointed. Fortunately we were close enough to the dealership that they came out to where I was sitting on the freeway; got the wheels back on and towed it back the their place. I want to give thanks to Brett “Bam” Moore, Westin Bird and a very special thanks to Zac Anderson who listened to our situation, we had sold our home to start this adventure, and went above and beyond in getting the trailer fixed and us back on the road. I have purchased 2 RV's from this dealership. Sales department is OK. Service after sale is the poorest I've had from any vendor of any kind. On my latest purchase, I have to take it back twice. Both times the service writers are nearly impossible to communicate with. They will not return phone calls!! I have had to escalate issues to the service management multiple times. Last issue in 12/24. Warranty issue on a furnace with a two year warranty. I am eighteen months in owning this unit but I will be paying for the repair on a part that has a 24 month warranty. In addition to this, when they set my truck up for towing after the purchase of the trailer, it was unsafe to drive home. Of course I didn't realize this until I left the lot. I had to set up the entire hitch set up again. They had way to much weight on the back axles. They also charge $275 per hour shop rate, which is outrageous considering the service they provide. If you luck out and get an RV that never has a problem you won't know this. But if you have to deal with the service department, you will regret having purchased From General RV in Draper. There are many dealerships in Salt Lake. Go to any of them instead!

The process couldn't have gone any smoother. I bought out of state and this is my first motorhome so I was very skeptical of everything. But the staff was fantastic to work with, Riley did internet sales and stayed in touch almost daily and he gave me a good deal. JB did the financing ( he was able to beat my financing ) also hooked me up with Tom who got me more insurance coverage for less money than I could get on my own.
DeeAnn was my delivery specialist who did a fantastic job showing me how everything works. It was fully setup for camping, we could run or use anything the motorhome had.
Rob Terry is a sales manager that is a down to earth great guy that wanted to make sure everything went well. And was able to give me some great tips on using my motorhome. He bought the same brand coach as I, a couple of years ago.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy again from these guys or send referrals to them.

Brought our 1 year old Grand design in for a warranty repair on the furrion solar controller, All the service department did was replace the controller, didn't connect it to the batteries, didn't verify that it was working, which it isn't. I advise everyone to avoid this location if you need anything serviced

Don’t even want to put a star. Our experience picking up our sprinter van was beyond horrible. Our walk through was minimal—ther person had little to no experience with sprinter vans. They drained the battery and didn’t discover this until we arrived (from out of state with suit cases in hand) It took hours before we were able to even see the van. The waiting room was not even a waiting room. The speaker that was supposed to come with the van was shipped, they told us they often go missing—-what? They only gave us one set of keys, it was supposed to come with at least 3. They continually told us they are on order. But they couldn’t tell us when they would get in. So we had to order the keys and pay for it out of our own pocket over $1000! We would continually reach out by text and phone and always got “we’ll look in to it, we’ll have someone call you” to no avail. Will never return there. It has been 3 months service picking up our van. DO NOT RECOMMEND going here if you are getting a sprinter van. Or Anything else really.

For over 2 years my wife and I have been contemplating purchasing a travel trailer. In the Fall of 2023 we decided it was time to begin the process. We went to the RV show in Sandy (UT) then afterwards met with Riley at General RV (Draper). We looked at the Transcend 200 MK, but told Riley we weren't quite ready to make the purchase at that time. Riley was very professional and said that anytime we were ready, to give him a call back.
On January 20th we were ready to look at the 200 MK again. We were now working with Deja as Riley was now doing Internet sales. Deja did an excellent job in helping us get a great deal on our purchase! We would highly recommend her to anyone looking to purchase an RV.
Thanks also to Troy, the finance manager, and Jon and Gary who did the orientation when we picked up our trailer on the 27th. We are very pleased with all the people we dealt with at General RV and look forward to camping in a few months!

I wanted to say how pleased we have been with the customer care from General RV , even after we purchased our trailer. Two months ago we lost our outside cover where we access the water heater. Even though it was likely our fault for not securing it properly, Jeanine from the service department took the initiative to contact Grand Design to arrange for us to get a new one under the existing warranty. Today my wife, Pam, and I took our trailer to the service department to discuss questions/concerns we had with the electrical/power system while doing dry camping this last year. A big thank you to Jeanine (again!), Alex, and Daniel from the service department who were very patient with us as we asked multiple questions. Not only about the power issues, but also how to winterize our trailer on our own, adjusting our sway bar hitch as needed, and how to keep up on the maintenance of our slide-out, window seals, roof, etc. Alex also noticed we needed some additional foam/insulation around the a/c vent in the ceiling.

All I can say is wow!!!! When I originally went to look at motorhomes, I wasn’t even in the buying mindset. I was considering making some dramatic changes meaning selling my truck and camp trailer and going to a motorhome. The sales guy was amazing and understanding that I wasn’t really ready to buy anything more or less just curious, after showing me several units and taking a lot of time and being very patient the sales manager didn’t like that I wasn’t buying and was very disrespectful and rude. Turns out that was all just a misunderstanding and two males being males almost made dramatic mistakes and I almost purchased from somebody else out of spite , however, fortunately for me, I was chased out to my car by Matt kosmowski Who said he was one of the general managers or some type of senior manager after almost running him over with my car not realizing he was chasing me he begged me to listen to what he had to say. He wasn’t concerned about selling me anything but more or less worried about how I felt as a person, it’s been a long time since I’ve had a company worry more about how I felt than selling me something after listening to him I drove down the road and steal. My male stubbornness wanted to prove to the sales manager before that I was a mistake to mess with and almost bought something I would’ve regretted however Matt continue to text me and let me know. He was very apologetic and would do anything to get me from making that mistake , so I decided to go back and I am so glad I did as we love our new motorhome and will never ever recommend anybody but these guys the original sales manager immediately came up to me and apologize with the upmost empathy in his voice I could tell it wasn’t just a sales presentation That is why I literally walked in there just curious and ended up making the best decision of my life when it comes to purchasing a new vehicle. The whole process from my original Sales guy, Mike to my Finance guy Weston Bird I consider all three of these people friends, not just people that sold me, especially Weston as he went above and beyond and even after I was still being a dick, knowing I was going to buy from these guys, he was patient and respectful

Had an issue with our hood release. Called Newmar factory and they recommended 2 dealerships.
We were on our way to St George so General RV in Draper was the best choice. We had purchased our RV in Indiana and driving out for vacation. Called General RV on Friday
Eve. and spoke with Natalia. She said they would work us in on Monday as long it was a simple repair. They did a quick lookover and found a void in a seal. Got our unit in, fixed the hood and re-sealed the area. Got us back on the road at 12:30. THANK YOU Natalia. You were so kind and professional. Use this dealership-they are a nice bunch of people

I give 3 stars for the first guy and -2 for the second.

The first guy was nice showed us 3 RVs to we could see what we needed. He even understood we were worried about being ripped off. He helped us understand what we would need to expect and understood we could only do 1k down payment on it even though we didn't think we would be able to get anything that day.

The second guy how ever started odd and got worse. He started by looking up everywhere my wife lived and was born. Seemed odd but not to bad. He was very invasive as if he was the one making the decision not a financial institution. He is just a middle man.

The part that really started to turn was when even before filing anything with anyone for financing he pulled my wife credit report up. Then he began to grill us on what was on it. I'm not even sure why he is doing this. The whole point of financial guy there is tat he can run it one time and check ALL of the institutes you all use not pick and choose who you want to check. So why are you getting so personal to look on the map where we live where my wife was born where her family lives then to get so personal into her credit report.

Then he tells me I have to give him the down payment before even doing anything. I'm not about to give you 1k before you do anything. Not even after getting that personal did you say weather or not you THINK you can get us the loan.

I told him I'm not going to charge 1k and hope I get it back if you can't get the loan on 1k down. His response was in anger then don't buy from us.

You'd think it ends there but no. Then he said lets go tell the first guy you won't buy the RV. He then walked us over in anger to tell the first guy that we won't give him the down payment. The first guy even defended us saying yeah they said they have had down payments held and not returned before.

For me it was worse in the beginning and I should have left when he said this but we didn't. He asked to verify my wife's number and one digit was wrong. He then said I guess the first guy can't listen. That should have been the red flag that this guy should no be near our info.

We left to get our own financing like we did with our last car. But now it seems to have gotten worse and I don't know who to blame the guy or the company. Ever since we did this which mind you did not even go to an institution. It only went to that guy. My wife has been getting spam and fraud texts and calls non stop.

If you want to use this place I'd say its probably a good place just avoid JTEbbs

That's assuming they have more than one guy in finance.

We recently purchased another 5th wheel trailer from General RV. This is the third trailer we have purchased from General RV and, as always, the experience was fantastic!
Blake Kranenbuhl was our sales rep on our prior trailer as well as this latest one. Aaron Nall was our financial advisor and Connor was the service rep that walked us through the functions of our new trailer.
What a great team!
Blake is an amazing individual. He has a great personality and goes out of his way to ensure you have a good experience from start to finish. Blake is very knowledgeable about RV's and will not steer you wrong. Blake was extremely patient and more than willing to listen to all my stupid jokes. He even laughed at a couple. If you are looking for a sales professional that is patient and will take the time needed to find an RV that fits your needs, then Blake is your guy. He will ensure you have a great experience and are happy with the end result.
Aaron helped us with the financial side of purchasing our trailer. This guy deserves an award! We were dead set on securing our own financing through our own credit union, which Aaron would have let us do if we were not going to listen to him. Thankfully, he was able to help us come to our senses and listen to his advice. He was able to get us a better deal that gave us more flexibility and was a better package overall. He saved us from making a big financial mistake while not making us feel like total idiots.
Connor was the service rep that helped us with our walk through the day we picked up our trailer. We had worked with Connor’s brother, Jack, when we did the walk through on our last trailer and were disappointed when he wasn’t available this time. We should not have been worried. Connor was every bit as good as his brother and did not disappoint. I am a bit thick headed at times and need things explained more than once. Connor was extremely patient and was able to help me despite myself.

We have had such a wonderful experience working with General RV. All of the staff was kind and helpful, but the 2 gentleman my wife and I worked with were everything we could hope for especially when making such a large purchase and doing our trade. Ray was our salesman and he was helpful, kind, a good listener, patient, and knew the inventory well. He didn't push or pressure us at all. Aaron helped us with our loan and all of the paperwork. He made sure I understood everything being signed, and all of the ins and outs of warranties. He patiently answered anything else i had questions on as well. I would not buy from this RV again. We purchased our RV in March and have only been able to take it out once. Something is always breaking but the dealership won't take responsibility. They say it is the manufacturers fault. We take in to be fixed.. 20 minutes later it stops.

Cory and Weston are absolutely fantastic to work with. After talking to a lot of different dealerships in and outside of Utah, I ultimately decided to purchase with GeneralRV because of my experience with Cory and Weston.

They were both very forthcoming and helpful. Cory helped me find the van of my dreams, and Weston helped me find the best option for financing. The walkthrough and purchase process went smoothly, and GeneralRV really made sure the van was ready on purchase day. The batteries were fully charged, all appliances were working, and they did a thorough job with the inspection.

Buying experience was professional. The finance team did a great job getting us the best deal and the follow up has been great so far. The only thing I think they could do better is the final cleaning of the unit prior to delivery however it was much cleaner than my previous Rv I bought at a different dealer. Definitely recommend them.

I really enjoyed my experience with the staff at General RV. Bam was very knowledgeable about the different vans that would fit our needs and was patient with the myriad of questions asked. JB was extremely helpful and worked to get us at our target price range. I will always remember the good laughs with Deanna as she diligently provided us “first time RV’ers” with concise instructions. Thanks to all who helped us. Happy Camping!

UPDATE -5 days later and over 10 hours of trying to resolve issues, with no avail.
I was really satisfied, I thought, but when we left, and drove 3 1/2 hours home we quickly found out that the generator was not working when not connected to shore power! (We were only demonstrated that the generator and other appliance worked when the van was plugged in) I have made ample calls and have had no one contact me. It is so frustrating that when I was on the lot, and they wanted me to purchase the RV they would be so helpful, but after leaving the lot, you are on your own!
I am going to be contacting the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint. I am also going to look into my options for getting a refund on the POI, the inspection that was supposed to be done prior to me driving off the lot that everything worked.
It is so frustrating! We purchased this van specifically to go on a vacation in a few days with our “dogs on board” and we can not go without the van working properly and having NO air conditioning for our furry family!
I should NOT have to drive 3 1/2 hours to take a brand new 2024 campervan back for service when I just drove it home on Monday, and it should have been checked when we left!
Also, the leg on one of the benches was bent- and it has major scratches on the bench under the seat. Probably from them showing the vehicle. (I checked the one bench, but I did not check the other one.

My suggestion for anyone buying a new RV, check everything and when the sales person or the delivery coordinator rush you or try to assuage your hesitations and say it will all work out and they are “family” and will help you- do NOT trust that and walk away if you are pressured! Make them show you the RV works before you sign the contract or put any money down. Both my husband and I worked in education for over 30 years and have diligently saved and budgeted to be able to purchase an RV where we could travel now we are retired. We paid over 100,000 dollars for a vehicle that is not working properly off the lot! (This was a once in a lifetime purchase and we were so excited to do it- hopefully this review will lead to a phone call- but most likely it will only be deleted.

Note: Both my husband and I have read the owners manuals and have called Thor and watched many hours of YouTube videos to try to get answers. We have done our part!

Update 1 week after purchase:

I would like to say that JB contacted me back and he was very helpful and was going to get someone to come remotely and fix the generator. However, this morning the service Manager, Jeff called and talked my husband through switching the breaker on the generator under the vehicle. He was very helpful and we are now up and running. Thank you for resolving the issue with us. We are excited to hit the road.

Jeff Gayler, our online sales rep, got us a hotel and use of a vehicle while waiting over the weekend for punch list issues to be resolved. Excellent to work with.
JB Dulco, our finance guy, got us the best rates, fixed an oversight and was still able to close the deal with no additional cost. Excellent to work with.

DeeAnn Brown, our walk thru rep was nice to work with, friendly and accommodating. I don't believe that anyone can know all of the key details that buyers need to know on every type of unit you sell. Puts them in a bad spot. You need specialists. A class A DP is not the same as a pull behind trave trailer. Even if a rep only did Class A MH, they couldn't keep up on all of the differences.

Horrible service department!! Literally impossible to get on the phone. Told us they’d order a part for our Brinkley and call us when it was in. A month later I finally got them back on the phone after calling 6-7 times and they had no idea who I was or why I was calling. Drive on to another town with a better RV dealership because this one is one of the worst that we’ve dealt with.

Absolutely terrible experience with their Service Department. Stickers/decals were torn/scuffed/peeling off in multiple locations on our brand new (ordered) 5th wheel. All this was pointed out during the walkthrough. Bring the trailer back after they tell me they have all the replacement decals and they end up having our trailer for 2-weeks and still didn't replace all the damaged graphics. Had to pick the trailer up for a trip and then bring it back after I was assured they now had all the decals. They had the trailer for another 2-weeks, applied the ceramic coating to exterior and I receive a call saying everything is done perfectly. Show up to pick it up and sure enough they missed a few decals and completely missed a huge portion of the front cap with the ceramic coating. Had the shop manager verify the front cap wasn't completed and had to take the trailer again for another trip....still not fixed and we purchased this unit in early April!

We checked with about 6 RV dealers from Boise ID to San Angelo TX on the purchase of a new Brinkley Z3610 which will be our 9th RV. We full time so quality is a must and the Brinkley by far has the best fit and finish we’ve seen in years, 36 years RVing, we traded in a DRV Mobil Suite that should tell you something. General RV in Draper UT has been spot on, no surprises. Hats off to Rob (Bruce) , Bobby, Hafin, Alex and Jeanine. Brinkleys customer service has also been very gracious by answering numerous questions even before our purchase. I would highly recommend General RV and Brinkley. I forgot to mention a couple other people that went above and beyond, Brian and Conner, once again the customer service has been great.

I worked with Cameron as I was considering a life change and looking into a larger RV. I got a couple suggestions and alternate options that were more cost effective. Ultimately the life change didn't happen as expected, but Cameron gave me time, was not emailing me every 30 seconds. I told him I'd have a better sense in 3 months, and 3 months later I heard from him. Can't ask for better service. He is exactly who I want if/when I am ready.

Purchased a brand new Forest River Impression from Brett “Bam” Moore and 38 miles into our 12 month trip the left side wheels fell off! Needless to say we were very disappointed. Fortunately we were close enough to the dealership that they came out to where I was sitting on the freeway; got the wheels back on and towed it back the their place. I want to give thanks to Brett “Bam” Moore, Westin Bird and a very special thanks to Zac Anderson who listened to our situation, we had sold our home to start this adventure, and went above and beyond in getting the trailer fixed and us back on the road. We were lucky enough to be assigned to Yorkshire Dave when we went 5th Wheel shopping at General RV. And what a stroke of luck it was. He was fabulous! Very knowledgeable, very funny, not pushy, had very insightful comments, & was extremely patient. General RV has a HUGE inventory & he let us look at anything we were curious about. We never felt rushed or like we were inconveniencing him. This is our 1st RV so we had lots of Q's & he answered every one. We had a great experience.
