I liked the other reviewer that said the “best bang for your buck”, they were spot on :). It’s one of those stores that you never know what you might find.

Their prices are the best. One example, I got a pair of velour Spyder joggers for $9.99. Crazy. Over the years, I’ve gotten some awesome items, at great prices, of course.

They have name brand clothing, backpacks, luggage, shoes, etc. They seem to have almost everything but on a much smaller scale of a big box store.

No matter what town I’m in, if there’s a Ross there, I check it out.

I saw a bad review about the fitting rooms. Yeah, Ross could do better. How about leave the dressing rooms open at the front of store. I feel they shouldn’t be closed for cleaning during store hours, unless there was an accident or something. Having the dressing rooms open… I’m guessing lead to more sales :). But don’t feel it’s a reason to lower my star rating if there are issues with the dressing room, because I do love this store. Hoping they see the reviews and fix the issues. Customers want to try stuff on, it’s paramount when you want to buy clothes.

All in all, I’m drawn to Ross and have to stop in when I’m in this shopping center.

Worst customer service experience ever. I bought a dress for my sister a few days ago but she didn’t like it. I came back here to return when it was only tried on once, never actually worn. The manager refused to take the refund even though the tag was still attached and I had a receipt. First she said the item didn’t match the receipt based on the description but the item and the receipt had the same barcode. Then she tried to find any small defect in the dress just so she has a reason not take the refund. The dress was bought in that condition. This is Ross, not some fancy store. Items could very much have tiny specs of something before they’re even bought. Worst manager and customer service ever. Do not recommend buying from this location.

To begin with, both the ladies stared at me blankly without a greeting making me feel awkward and then started roughly checking out and had a problem when I asked to distribute my items in different bags as there were many things I purchased, both the ladies outright denied rudely and mind you, I am talking about the tone and physical attitude they had, its a shame that I was so taken aback and ofcourse didn't care the least to be pleasant or greet once I was billed which was for more than $300. THESE LADIES NEED TO BE REPLACED IMMEDIATELY OR YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR BUSINESS WITH SUCH LAME ATTITUDE HOURLY WORKERS. Please train immediately or you will loose trusted customers as mentioned. I have been to this store multiple times pre-pandemic. Ross is well-known for their decent/low prices. At one point, this was the best, most cleanest/well kept Ross in the area.

ALL THE DRESSING ROOMS CLOSE 1 HOUR EARLY.

Customer service is not very good. Look at other reviews. Same over n over.

Nextdoor at t.j. Maxx/ HomeGoods they close their dressing rooms an hour early as well. But when you say something to them they will open the dressing room for you and make sure you can try on your clothes. A way different experience other places than Ross. Ross has poor customer service and staffing.

I’m only putting 1 star due to the staff being polite. But I arrived at 9:25pm on a Saturday night and as soon as I arrived, an announcement was made that the fitting rooms were closing. This is an hour before the store is closing. I am in between sizes and definitely need to try on clothes. I don’t enjoy standing in long lines to make returns so if I can’t try on clothes, there is no point in shopping. They might as well have closed at 9:30pm. Very disappointing.

I love Ross Stores. I also recognize that in order to save money you have to sacrifice something. Like bits of the customer service or occasionally long lines. But... If I could rate this particular store in minus, I would. This store pretends to be a high end one, thus, carrying big spacing between the isles and having less merchandise. Way they treat people is disrespectful. They will go to a length to minimize you and your experience. When I was attempting to return defective perfume they stated not taking it back due to being open. How else one would find out that the spray part is broken? When I attempted to argue my case, person in charge stated thats why when I want perfume I buy it from Macys. Really? How professional. I recently attempted to return shoes that apparently were not to the standard somehow. Apparently, as a customer, it was my job to ask for them to be discounted when I purchased those. Mind me that I was ok with the imperfect condition, with some paint missing on the sole and glue showing. Otherwise, the shoes were dazzling, designer and discounted. I was ok with the price, but they ended up being uncomfortable. I was belittled in front of the line for returning used shoes that I actually only wore while trying for about 5 mins on my carpeted floor. While finally getting a return, they managed to lose my receipt and due to this withholding $10 which I noticed only after coming home. So I turned around and went back. The matter was not only in money but in a principle as well. Apparently, the sales associate just threw my receipt into the bin instead of passing it to the lead, and it took the lead over 15 mins and an external call to give me the rest of my money back. They do have some nice cashiers there, and I always been nice to them. But at this day I spent over 30 mins collectively doing 1 return, and while I dared to argue I was reprimanded for raising my voice... I have been charged for items twice on several occasions, and when coming back they always behave like you have a malicious intent. I spend a lot of money in Ross stores, but moving forward this store is not likely to get a lot of my business.

Today we visited Ross @Dulles and had a very strange experience. While we have completed our first billing payment ($335.73 for 27 items). Another cashier came to our counter cashier and collected our receipt. When I asked our cashier why did other counter cashier collected our receipt, our counter cashier mentioned that it was not our receipt. It was really strange and surprising as to why the other cashier collected our receipt and stored it.

The store was orderly and seemed well stocked on the day thay I visited. I didnt purchase much but my friend found a lot of good things. Overall it was a good shopping experience right up until we got to the cashier. There was no greeting, no eye contact, no smile. I greeted her and she mumbled something. I guess I took to long to put my card away so she put my receipt on the counter instead of waiting 2-3 seconds. She clearly did not want to be there and it showed. I wish I keptmy receipt so I could ID this cashier.

I would put zero stars if I could as we experienced the worst customer service today. As I was shopping at the store on my way to checkout, my child who was just recently getting used to potty training said that she needed to use the bathroom. So we go straight there and we realized the bathroom door has one of those keypad locks on it. While I was waiting, my wife went quickly to the checkout area and asked one of the employees for the bathroom code but she refused to share it. After multiple times of requesting and her completely ignoring her she ended up walking back to us with no code so we decided to go to the neighboring store. Right before we leave, we saw a teen walk up to the bathroom and type in the code to get in. We asked him how he got the code and he said he just knew it. He was nice enough to let us in and use the bathroom. This was a very stressful time as it took us a very long time to get our child to be potty trained and accidents like that in a public store can be very traumatic. I am still upset how this was handled. We went straight to the manager after to report and even she said she doesn t understand why there would be a code lock on the bathroom door and thinks it s silly herself.. This could ve all been prevented if the employee would ve just gave the code knowing a child needs to go to the bathroom urgently. She definitely lacked common sense and decency.

Not all Rosses are the same . Last time I visited Leesburg branch in VA , it was a messy display . I went to the Sterling area , I ended with armful of holiday gifts and a beautiful sweater . One in Dulles , Va is newer too .

Very poor customer service. Only one teller, who was catering to almost 15 clients in the line up. Despite his page no one else came to support him. It was only when I intervened that the help came for him. Best example of common sense sonetimes is so uncommon!

Rozaro very rude! 5 people standing in a line waiting and she is a worker who came up and cut everyone off to purchase one shirt for herself. The cashier told her she was busy helping us but Rozaro insisted on her to ring her up and made us as customers wait. This was very rude of her and she did not care one bit. Very unprofessional and I am speaking for each customer that was behind me to witness this. Pull the camera and see for yourself of the employee you have working here. The cashier was very sweet on how she handled this.

Store was clean! Amazing prices to be honest and more than that i was there to return something I bought a week ago and I didn t have a receipt! It was just $11 but their staff were considered enough to check my credit card/ID and gave me a refund 100% thanks to the the manager Ameena who understood my situation! Thank you again guys!

As far as Ross goes this is one of them that tends to be a bit more organized. Do note that you should never assume that the right size is in the right place. Even when on a hanger showing a specific size, that may have nothing at all to do with the actual size of the garment. That all said, the prices for the items they have are unbeatable. If they have what you want, you wont find a better price.

Clean, quiet, organized, and spacious store, not as much selections and hectic as the other Ross location in Chantilly. Service is generally good, never had any problems with returns/exchanges. You dont see many people working there besides a cashier and a stocker. I feel relaxed when shopping at this location.

This location is opposite of the one up the street. The store is spacious and organized. The inventory level here is often much lower than the other one but the customer service is like night & day. Our cashier was very friendly and helpful.

On Thursday May 27th 2021 I experienced a very bad situation with one of the employees at checkout. I went up to the cashier clerk to exchange something and I noticed she was in a bad mood. I gave her the receipt and clearly told her I needed to EXCHANGE something something that day. She threw half of my cash in my face and returned the other half to my credit card. I told her that this is not what I asked for and I asked for an exchange in store credit. She rudely told me that I did not tell her that when I clearly did. I did not want to make a scene even though I was very upset so I left.

I was just at the store, and wanted to return a pair of pants, with the tags on, and I had my receipt, and my credit card, and the cashier Stated that the pants were use, I was so embarrassed, I was being accused of returning a used pair of pants. Which that was not the case at all. I will appreciate if Manager take some kind of action.

Store looks so Empty. Not much of a collection. Ross website says they close at 11pm was told by an employee that they close at 10pm. They should update their hours on the website. An employee approached me and mam we close at 10 and just gave me a weird look/attitude. She could be polite about it. I wouldn t recommend going here not worth it.
