Today, the lady at the counter tricked and conned me into getting a Macy's credit card. I told her I don’t need a card as it is a credit card, and then she said no there are 2 types of cards. This is just a store card and said she just needs my ID. She didn’t tell me that my credit score would be checked. She just forced and tricked me into getting my SSN and very casually entered my address and a random income. I feel like a fool, I was kind to her and she completely misguided me and tricked me. Then ahead said I hope your application gets approved, then I realized it’s a credit card and told her I don’t want it and to cancel the application. She said okay she would cancel but then I saw my credit history was already checked. When I went back to ask her, she tried to avoid me from the payment counter and took me inside a clothes section so people wouldn’t be able to see her. I am shocked by such unethical behavior.

I've been coming to this Macy's for years now. It still stands strong at Dulles Town Center. There is plenty of uncovered parking available, on the lower level, as well as upper level.

There are fewer customer service counters in each department. There is one main counter dedicated solely for returns; however, specific items (skincare, cosmetics) should be returned to the corresponding counter. The service isn't the greatest either, I was told to go to multiple counters back and forth to return an item, until a manager from the shoe department finally completed the return.

They still carry the same variety of items ranging from perfume/cologne, clothes, shoes, luggage, etc. Since this location is relatively smaller (than other nearby Macy's), it is easier to navigate through the different departments.

I do a lot of online shopping at Macy's so if I need to make a return or pick-up an online order Macy's makes it easy to do this with the At-Your-Service Counter which is generally located right at one of the entrances - so no having to trek through the mall which is a positive!

Also, everyone always likes my bike in the parking lot.

Beware 2 different parking lots! Bottom floor with the back room has one entrance from outside, North, and top floor has east and south entrances. I always take a pic of the entrance (examples below) when I enter to not get confused. Bottom floor has been taken over by toys! Walk to the 2 sections surrounding the bottom floor backroom for all of the toys. Tons of variety have been added to the displays of beds, appliances, and men’s clothing on the first floor. Escalator going up is still broken so go ahead and walk right outside the store into the mall to use the very close by escalator going up if you don’t want to walk up stairs.

Macys is Macys, a nice store, huge, high end brands, pricey to expensive. Well organized, clean and splendid to browse. During the last several years, as every other store, the quality of the products have been affected, but the prices are high. While its not high end in quality (although the brands) it represents the abandonment of better clothes, shoes, etc. Those big brands are taking advantage of customers who go by fashion and not by quality. Is it Macys who follows the trend? Or just to survive needs to sell plastic, polyesters, nylons, at a huge price. If its needed to survive and not continue closing stores, well customers would buy, but its not Macys anymore. All of this without considering where the products are made. If you want or need anything, you will find it there, but paying a price for a huge display and Macys name. They offer reduced prices, and the same product drops at least 50-60%. This is very interesting! You have to have luck though in finding your size and a good quality Visually it is a nice experience to navigate through the stores floors, but could be disappointed. It s really sad how employees are locking their inside doors that lead towards the rest of the stores way before 9pm. This is a safety issue and I ve heard another customer confused as to where to go and the employee not being helpful. I had to walk out in the darkness and figure out how to find my car that was way across the other side of the mall. Especially at night, it is dangerous to not know where you re walking in the dark and people can get kidnapped because of things like this. Do better macys, you close at 9 not 8:44 when the doors were already closed for people to leave where they came from. This is beyond unsafe and the employees don t care about their customers.

Terrible experience ordering online to pick up at store. I ordered a jacket as a gift for my husband. It was never shipped. There has been zero communication from macys regarding the status of my order. I called customer service, and after a hours s wait, got someone who gave me a tracking number which when I plugged into the ups tracking as I was advised, turned out to be non existent . Since they had put a hold on the amount, I couldn t order from another site either. So I ended up having no gift to give my husband on a special day. I absolutely do not recommend ordering from macys online.

The store is not organized when it comes to the female clothing section. Everything is so messed up and random. Will have to spend 4-5 hrs to get the correct size of jeans. They can at least arrange clothing based on size.

Very bad service while doing a return, the woman there had a bad face since she said good morning, like really? better say nothing instead of that attitude, then I showed her the pants to return and I told her I did not have the tag cause I thought I was going to keep it, and she got all mad, I guess because she had to do more work and print a price tag, then at the end she said Ok but next time dont remove the tag, like really? who are you? my mom? next time I will just go to another cashier
