What can I say...it's Walmart! You go in, get your stuff and leave.

Their prices are not much lower than Target, maybe by $0.04-0.05, but most people I know prefer to avoid Walmart in general. I like this location better than the other ones in the area as it is still "newer" and a different area. They are usually fully stocked and carry pretty much everything, which is great. For the most part, this location is well-kept, organized and maintained well. The optical department is friendly as well. There are a lot of staff on the floors putting together pickup orders, so they are more familiar with the locations of certain items.

The customer service is nothing to brag about. It's more a process...show the receipt, hand over the item, provide the return reason and get a refund. Done, next. Sometimes it can be a bit of a hassle. When checking out, I prefer to use the self-checkout lanes, which thankfully has expanded with more counters and is on both sides of the store.

There is plenty of parking available, dedicated solely to Walmart.

So this store is in my neighborhood and I've been shopping there from the time they've been open.
Recently their self checkout machines have been showing and telling me that an item/s wasn't scan, despite the item being on my list of purchases on the screen. I have to wait for an associate. This have happened twice now and I was told the first time, that I scanned it too slowly and recently too fast. Go figure.
Maybe their cameras are unable to keep up with how items are scanned I really don't know and don't understand if an item was scanned why then do we have this message popping up?
Despite this happening and being an absolute annoyance I did give them four stars because as I said before, I shop there all the time. The store is clean, organized and there's a great range of items available in all departments and I have met some helpful and friendly associates.
I just would really appreciate it if I could just get into the store, shop for my items and be able to checkout in a timely manner without having these machines be a pain.
Item not scanned, no change, not reading my card and having to try other machines.... make it stress free please. There's enough stress in the world today without adding getting groceries to that list. Thank you.

I encountered shocking and inappropriate behavior at the bakery department of your store located at 24635 Dulles Landing Dr, Dulles, VA 20166 on 06/14/24. I had placed an order online for the Star Wars - Darth Vader Licensed Kit Cupcake Cake.

Upon picking up the cupcakes, I was dismayed to find that the Star Wars image was significantly smaller than advertised. I had requested the staff to fix the issue, which they did, and I greatly appreciated. When I came back to pick up the cakes, the image was not centered properly, and some parts were sunken and looked like they would fall, which they did. When I brought this to the attention of one of your employees, instead of addressing the issue professionally, she snatched the cupcakes from me and rudely remarked that if I didn’t want them, she would take them back, she said I was not God, along with many other comments in a disgusting manner. Eventually, she took them back to the kitchen. It's important to note that I had already paid for the cupcakes.

Despite her disrespectful behavior, I followed her back to the kitchen to ensure I got the cupcakes as I had paid for them. The employee called me derogatory names and escalated the situation further. It was extremely unprofessional and upsetting to be treated in such a manner.

Moreover, when I requested to speak with a manager to address the situation, I was informed by the bakery staff that no manager was available, which I later found out to be untrue as I saw a manager on duty in another part of the store. The employee took off her name tag, and non of the employees would give me her name, therefore, I took a picture of her. In response, the employee came running out of the bakery aggressively towards me, causing a disturbance that other staff members had to intervene to stop. This further escalated an already tense situation and created an unsafe environment for both myself and other customers present. Regardless, I walked away to find a manager in the store, one male employee kept following me to tell me not to speak to a manager, which again I ignored and continued with my business.

This entire experience was deeply disappointing and stressful, especially given that it was for a special occasion. This is a photo of the disgraceful Wal-Mart employee who works in the bakery. Management please identify her.

Always clean.....shelves are perfect .... people are always helpful. Love going there.
I have noticed some shoppers being short tempered about things being locked. It does take a while to find the keeper of the keys at times. I think shopper's have to remember.....it's because of some shoppers that STEAL things. So when you're waiting "patiently" for the key...... Keep in mind it is not the store and the way they staff it...... But it is a result of so much stealing going on. The store is trying to lower its losses so that they can keep the prices low for you.

Convenient location from Brambleton. It’s 4 miles from my house. The prices are awesome and they have almost everything. I took a few photos before 8:30am on a Sunday, mainly of the grocery side. I’m so happy to have this store so close by at the Dulles Landing location.

There were customer service rep present to assist at every turn. Thought it was a coincidence the first time, but I have repeatedly experienced that now.
It was organized well and check out was a breeze.
Subway meal was a nice addition, my kids love the pizza.
Prices are competitive and fruits and vegetables are nice and fresh

If you want to be racially profiled, this is your WalMart to go to. This was our favorite WalMart until this weekend. We went through self check out and as we were walking out the door the door greeter stopped us (others proceeded to walk out) to check our cart. We waited for her to get her scanner and she proceeded to scan every item in our cart. She even grabbed my boyfriend s personal sunglasses and was attempting to check them (these were his personal sunglasses he wore into the store and are not wal mart sunglasses). There was a long line of customers waiting behind us due to her scanning every item in our cart. I did let the door greet know her issue must be the color of my boyfriend s skin and that we would not be returning to this Walmart EVER again. I have been calling to speak to a manager for days and cannot get anyone on the phone. I need a follow up on this issue. This is completely unacceptable and bad business practice. I feel we were racially profiled. I m not sure the door greeters name but she was an Asian lady maybe in her 40s. My father worked as an APA for WalMart for many years, and in no way is what we experienced okay or proper business practice. If you have brown skin beware of this location.

I never wanted to write this review, but I feel it s important to bring this to Walmart s management s attention. I ve been shopping at this Walmart since 2015, and I m very disappointed by repeated actions from an employee named Edith, who checks customers receipts at the exit. Every time I encounter her, she counts each item in my cart, but I ve noticed she doesn t do the same for other customers. Today, I finally asked her why she was counting my items but not those of the person behind me, who also had multiple items. She responded that it was because they had used self-checkout. However, I believe that if anything, self-checkout purchases should be checked more carefully, as they are less supervised. I told her that her actions felt discriminatory based on appearance and that it s not right to judge people by how they look. I also expressed my hope that she would work on this issue. I m writing this after feeling deeply saddened by the experience. I ve spent roughly $15,000 to $20,000 at this Walmart annually. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I recently went grocery shopping at Walmart in Dulles, VA, and had a disappointing experience. After spending about an hour filling our cart with groceries, we found out at the self-checkout that Walmart does not accept Apple Pay. This was quite surprising, as Apple Pay is widely used at many retail outlets across North America, including other Walmart locations. INFLEXIBILITY AT SELF-SERVE CHECKOUTS We asked an employee named Sarahswati to watch our cart while we returned to our residence to get a credit card. Sarahswati informed us that if we didn t return by 6:30 PM, she would restock the groceries. Realizing we couldn t make it back by that time, I decided to stay with the cart while the other family member went to get the card. When I explained the situation and expressed our frustration over the inflexible policy, Sarahswati responded that she was not Customer Service and showed no understanding of the stress she caused us. LACK OF EMPATHY AND POOR SERVICE I found this entire experience to be very upsetting and not what I have usually experienced while shopping at other Walmart locations. The employee s rigid approach and lack of empathy made the situation unnecessarily stressful, and her refusal to offer an apology was disappointing. This is not what I expect from Walmart s customer service standards. SUGGESTIONS 1. Expand Payment Options: Walmart should consider adopting Apple Pay, as many customers rely on it for convenience. 2. Hold Items for Pickup: Allow customers at least an hour to return with a payment method before restocking items. 3. Improve Signage: Place signs in-store and online that clearly outline the accepted payment methods to prevent confusion. CONCLUSION This incident left us feeling pressured and inconvenienced. Walmart s policies and staff approach need to be more customer-focused to avoid causing similar frustrations for other shoppers. I hope Walmart management will take these suggestions seriously to enhance the shopping experience and ensure employees are better trained to provide empathetic and attentive customer service.

I went to Walmart with the intention to get my car keys cut. Since it is a fob I cant use the self cut machine. I went to the back to get it manually cut however they had no associate their. One of the workers said that the person wasnt in today. I asked if in the entirety of Walmart just one person cuts the keys. He was nice enough to call the manager to ask who responded in hindi ask them to use the self use machine the nice worker responded telling the manager that the key is a fob, to my surprise the manager said well tell him the machine is not working. Instead of assisting me, they chose to lie about the functionality of the machine and remove me from the location. Prakash tried to help however his manager appears to careless about the customer.

Best Walmart location. Pharmacy deserves 5 stars, the entire staff is outstanding. The grocery section is very frustrating; 1. Meat is frequently left on shelf well past the expiration date, both lunch meat and butchered meat. 2. The paid shoppers are consistently oblivious to their surroundings and many are quite rude. Update: Visited the vision center at Dulles Landing. Amele helped me pick out my new glasses. She was very intuitive and insightful in making recommendations. We landed on a pair that was fantastic. She was extremely friendly and courteous...had a great sense of humor, too ! I could not be more pleased with the experience.

Edith is really rude, discriminating, and racist. Every time I go to Walmart, she always stops me at the door when Im leaving. She only checks my stuff and no one elses, she checks it 2-3 times. Today I went to Walmart again and she asked for my receipt, I didnt print one out but I had my phone receipt. I showed it to her but she couldnt pull it up and then she sent me to customer service. The lady there couldnt figure out why it wasnt showing so she called a someone else and she fixed it. I went back to show her and she checked it twice. I asked why she only stops me but no one else then she just gave me a look and told me to leave.

quite literally the worst experience i ve ever had. waited at the paint section for 15 minutes(timed and everything) and was repeatedly ignored. to make matters worse worker Ashok saw we needed help and ignored us about three times before someone else was sent. they have a help button but there is quite literally no point in it as nobody absolutely NOBODY will come to help you. spammed the button after the third time of pressing it and still nobody came we had to go find someone

Always way too crowded. Carts are in bad shape and most of them are dirty and broken. And for some reason, they put these huge pallets in all the aisles and start restocking hours before the store actually closes. It makes it completely impossible to get around the store, and the employees act like you re inconveniencing THEM by daring to go grocery shopping at 8pm. Overall just not very well run.

Bad customer service. At a very regular time of day, There is no one to help customers. They just keep sending you from one person to the other but no one actually is willing to help. I visited them today at 7:30 in the morning for regular maintenance on GS8. The reception hall was spacious and the employees were many, and the whole matter took two hours. They received the car and I went to do something and they called me and I returned to receive it, washed and clean. I thank GAC Al-Jomaih and thank brother Yasser for his reception.

Huge shout out to Walmart bakery for doing such a fabulous job with baking a Disney Princess themed cake for my daughter s birthday! If you re looking for a reasonably priced yet beautiful and appealing themed cake that will wow your kid and your party- give this a shot and you wont be disappointed! The cake itself for moist, fresh with a yummy choc filling! Our guests asked where it was from and I was so happy to share! They have a huge catalog of designs to choose from with all the popular themes /characters! You rocked it, Walmart Bakery (Dulles)! Thank you!

Force me into a self checkout line and then want to check the receipt before I leave? People standing around talking to each other instead of working, horrible customer service. Walmart is heading the wrong direction.

I love Walmart for their prices and variety. I live in NY, and came to Walmart in Ashburn, VA to see the variety and prices and the quality of their home goods and its amazing. I love the organization and their order. The self check out was clean and I used the help service to see how fast they would come to help, and it was ridiculously fast. In no time the floor help for the self check out was there and the gentlemen was courteous and very helpful. He stayed just in case I needed anything else. I really appreciate the fast service in the self check out and the clean counters so that when I place the close on it, its not all full of food residue and Im in confort to be able to place my things down on the counter with no problem. Thank you Walmart for your services it well appreciate. CS

Very bad experience customer service manager she have very bad behavior was trying to create her own policy price Tags in the store must off them wrong specifically one on sales she have big yellow signs and I take pic I show her she said I can only give you one !!!!
