I truly appreciate this store, however the manager is nasty, inconsiderate, and lacks customer service skills. I also think she hasn't received enough training. She has shown rudeness towards me and the checkout staff in the two interactions we have had so far. Since these kinds of difficulties have an impact on the business, please be mindful of the kind of personnel you are recruiting.

It is not convenient. We had a beautiful store close to everything and it closed because of moving up the shopping center. Now unless I make a special trip to Sterling I cannot go to my favorite store. The place where it is located has so many confusing turns and I was exhausted when I arrived. Too far to travel. They need to come back to fair lakes or a closer location. Very unfortunate that the company did this

Very nice store with collection of foods, drinks, home decorations stuff, rugs, and a few indoor/outdoor furniture. You can find some unique and fine items. Their prices are reasonable mostly.
Employees are good, but during weekends, if you need help, there are not enough staff to ask questions or help customers.
Parking spaces are available enough.

We have shopped here for years and really enjoy the whole bean coffees here. About 2-3 times a year we buy 8-12 bags at a time plus other food. We had a phenomenal shopping experience with the help from Geena. She helped us sign up for deals and coupons, and locate items needed seamlessly.

Her knowledge around the system and attentiveness shone greatly especially after we had experienced terrible customer service and incompetence at other retailers like West Elm, Crate&Barrel. She even helped load stuff in the car since we purchased quite a lot to furnish a new home.

I always thought World Market is cute but from this point on I can say with confidence that I’ll be a loyal returning customer. Thank you so much, Geena!

This is the worst store that I ever seen from world market. Their system is for decades ago! No one wants to help you out, and their information is not aligned with their website, their company, the customer service nor any other branches! If you want to have easy purchase just drive a bit further and go to another store! Not Dulles! My bf purchased an e-gift card for my birthday from World-market, which you can use it both online AND in-store (based on their own website) but this store is the only place that do not allow us to use it! They say you have to use it for online purchases, however their website and customer service and other branches say yes you can use it in store and online. I wont buy any e-gift card from world market and I wont purchase anything from Dulles Store anymore.

My wife planned to browse at this World Market store in Dulles for a few minutes while I took our kids through a drive-thru in the same shopping center. When my wife walked in the store, a female store employee (apparently the assistant manager) said you better know exactly what you want because Im locking the doors. And then this world market employee went on to say, We dont need you here. There were several shoppers still in the store, and more importantly, it wasnt closing for 5 minutes. My wife turned right around and walked out the door. We would much rather support another business than deal with folks that could be so disrespectful to customers. Hopefully the manager supervising the operations of this location does something about this. If a manager does actually plan to do something... this took place on Sunday, Feb 5th at 5:55pm.

As I entered, the store reminded me of the now defunct Pier 1 Imports but at the back of the store they have foods and drinks from around the world. There are Japanese KitKats and Pringles. Overall a lot of Asian snacks. Their drink variety just as good as. ALOT of varieties of bubble teas. If you sign up for their membership (which took literally a few minutes as the check out) you will get 15% off your order.

Supply chain issues are deeply impacting this store and that is sad. They used to offer a vast range of unique finds in foods and beverages. That has fallen by at least 40% of what they used to offer. That being said...there are still fun finds, but they will be hit and miss, and if whatever you find REALLY excites you...you may want to buy 2...chances are it wont be there on your next visit and/or it may be discontinued. They have a heavy focus on home furnishings but they are priced at premium price points. Sign up for their FREE member program as it does offer discounts from time to time that can help soften those furnishing desires. They carry some beautiful and unique cards that really make giving a gift something special. The foods are varied and unique. If you have a hard to please gift recipient or someone that has a fun and adventurous palate...take some time to explore the offerings.

I ordered a product here and world market charged me twice. Instead of issuing an immediate refund, I have to wait 5 to 10 business days for my funds to come back into my account. Very unpleasant experience with customer service as no one could explain to me why or how this happened. I have bought smaller items in person in the store which were always normal experiences, however upon purchasing an expensive piece of furniture online, my opinion on this company has not become a good one. Would not recommend to others, as charging someone twice for a product that is already hundreds of dollars is NOT ok.

I havent been there in quite a while and I liked the change that I saw. It used to be so crowded that it was hard to move through the aisles without feeling like youre going to knock something off and now its so open and spacious that you can easily find things. They even had the Swedish Ginger Snap cookies that I usually have to wait till December to get but they already had them in. I so enjoy them and while I can order them, this way I dont have to pay for shipping! I also like that they carry the Ritter sport bars. Very good quality chocolate.
