I had the pleasure of being assisted by a wonderful cashier during my recent visit, and I just had to share my experience! This gentleman, who is a bit older, was incredibly friendly and made my shopping trip so much more enjoyable. His warm smile and engaging conversation really stood out.

Not only was he efficient in his work, but he also took the time to ensure I had everything I needed. It’s clear that he takes pride in providing excellent service. I left the store feeling happy and appreciated, thanks to his kindness. It’s always nice to encounter someone who truly cares about their customers. Kudos to him for making my day brighter!

I haven't been to this store in a while. I used to visit before any trips to buy cheap stuff that I won't be worried about losing or leaving behind.

They have expanded their selection of items as well as increased prices, so not everything is "$5 and below". They have a great selection of holiday-themed decorations, costumes, candy, etc. There is a larger selection of workout equipment, accessories, etc. And just more clothing in general. I used to buy the t-shirts to wear at the gym, some of them have fun or witty sayings.

I have purchased some electronic items, but some of them are just cheap quality and don't work after a while....which is perfect for temporary use or while traveling.

I ended up leaving empty-handed only because they didn't have what I was looking for, but I would still return to browse.

This is a nifty store, where everything is $5 and below. They seem to be bringing more useful items to the store. When the store first came around, it seemed more like useless items. Recently, they added a wide selection of fitness items such as weights, yoga mats, workout clothes, etc. The clothes run on the smaller size, so definitely pick up a size larger. I purchased a 10-lb weight for $5...definitely a steal!

They also have a large selection of electronic accessories. The cases are limited to specific models, but there are a lot of chargers and headsets. I recently purchased a bluetooth headset, which they let me return without the receipt as it was not working properly.

There are a lot of different candies available, especially those that are "old school" or hard to find.

An overweight woman with brown greasy hair and black-framed glasses had a rancid, nasty attitude. When I greeted her hello, she did not respond & looked through me as if I wasn’t there. Moreover, she told me an item I had picked out had no tag, but her awful tone made it seem like it was my fault that the tag was missing, although I did NOTHING to the tag. All the workers that I’ve met in the Northern Virginia area were kind and helpful to me, so it was shocking to see such lack of respect coming from one person. I’d either recommend her to take customer service classes or just leave the company entirely. She had this attitude for all of the customers that worked here, and it was ironic that she asked me to answer a question inquiring on how my visit went. It would’ve been a 10 if she wasn’t there. I wish I could vote 0.

The man barely looked at me and incorrectly and dismissively stated "we have no Toy Story items here" while not even stopping his walk (they had several of the Toy Story alien toys up front). Store in disarray, boxes everywhere and employees themselves disheveled with stained clothing.

Lots of cheap stuff, somethings are actually decent value for money. Kid friendly place.
Stuff like magnetic ac vent mounts and charging cables are surprisingly well made and do last a decent amount of time.
Bring your kid here give them $10 and let them go crazy.

I am a frequent shopper at their Gainesville location and love it, but will not be returning to this Dulles Landing location. I would give the store 3.5 stars out of 5 stars, but the employee -5 stars out of 5 stars. Wish I would’ve known the employee name to alert the manager of the unprofessionalism.

I have only been to this shopping center and the Five Below store one time. This is not a part of DC that I ever go to. It is a bit further than the Dulles airport for me! For starters the Dulles Place shopping center is very far from the main road, is not very well marked & despite its size is not visible until you turn onto the drive . Thank goodness for the goggle! The store is one of the original stores with a different layout than the newer ones. The manager really seems to be on top of things here! The store is well stocked. It looked fairly neat and organized for a retail store where you know that a lot of the shoppers dont put things back as theyre wondering around looking at things. Five Below is the ultimate variety store so it is a lot of fun to shop here. I assume that you know what kind of stuff they sell for your home, familys enjoyment & of course the snacks, drinks & candy. Everything isnt $5 or below & some prices have gone up here. If you find yourself in Dulles & need to do a little non grocery food shopping or just a break check this store out! I liked this store a lot. I was controlling myself not to do lot of shopping .. there are so many things in much lesser price! You should visit and try to get electronic things for which you spend lot of money every year!

I got a couple of things here for back-to-school, but Dollar Tree is sooo much better. Everything is a dollar and the supplies r just as good if not better. there was some cute stuff to look at but some of it is kinda tacky. I mainly come here for the cheap, individually packaged pieces of candy that are available at 10 pieces for $1, and any time I need a random electronic device like a car charger, aux cord, etc. For only $5, the quality is better than what you might expect.
