This store has become our regular haunt for back-to-school shopping and other sporty needs. The store is generally clean and well-maintained, with ample parking that's always a plus. While staff turnover seems high, there are a few long-term employees who clearly take pride in the store's appearance. Management does a commendable job of adding cashiers during peak times, keeping checkout lines moving. However, the kids' clothing section could use some expansion – we often find ourselves resorting to their online store or Amazon for what we need. The oversized fishing and golf departments, which rarely seem busy, might be better utilized for this purpose.

Haven't gotten shoes anywhere but Walmart in years. So when I went in to get running shoes since I'm going to bootcamp for the Marines Anthony was a big help in recommendations and finding what I needed. Dude needs a raise for customer service of that quality

I went in this morning to the Dick's Sporting Goods at 1520 Koger Center Boulevard on a recommendation from my lady to try a pair of Hoka running shoes. I went to the shoe section and walked the wall for about fifteen minutes looking at the various running shoes. After ten minutes of nobody inquiring to see if I needed help I sort of figured the three young fellows standing against the sneaker wall in the adjacent ladies shoe section had no intentions of selling shoes today, or at least not at that time. I went over to my lady and told her I wasn't interested in making a purchase at Dick's Sporting Goods and I would rather go to another merchant, so we left. I left because this is not the first time I have walked around Dick's Sporting Goods and not been recognized by any passing staff persons. I also left because the shoes are warehoused in the back of the store and if no sales persons inquire if you need help then how are you to buy shoes; I can't walk into the back and get them myself. Most of the shoes in Dick's Sporting Goods cost in excess of $100 and if they are going to sell shoes at that price they could at least provide good customer service. My recommendation to Dick's Sporting Goods is they train the staff to be more attentive to their customers. I will probably not return to Dick's Sporting Goods and just shop for running shoes with another merchant who has sales representatives that want to help customers buy shoes.

Took my golf clubs in to be regripped. They did not have a big selection but they did have the ones I was looking for. The young man who waited on me was very nice and helpful. They called me a few hours later to let me know me clubs were ready.

Went to this location a few weeks ago to buy some new tennis shoes. One of the employees in that department was incredibly dismissive to my family and did not answer any of our questions. Two female employees were friendly and tried to assist us but were not knowledgable about the products.

Would definitely recommend making the drive to the Willow Lawn location. A little bit further but definitely worth it. Had a much better experience there.

Interesting encounter. I needed to ship my putter off to Calloway for repairs and the rep told me to check sporting good stores nearby to see if they had any old club size shipping boxes (as they get new clubs in daily). The employee at the golf section told me that they didn't have any. Then, as we were talking, another employee came out and began breaking down a old club box that would have worked perfectly. I pointed over and said the one he is about to throw away would work fine. He refused and said its policy that they aren't allowed to give away any card board... I don't know if that manager was just trying to act important or if they really have such a strange policy. I figure re-use of old card board is better than trashing it, but to each there own... I will be go elsewhere for golf equipment in the future.

I bought two vibe kayaks here about 700.00 a piece. But unfortunately the manger told an employee to follow me bc she thought I look like a person that will steal. Crazy huh?? Made me feel like nothing. I overheard her say it to the employee. Then I stop him and asked what was going on and he told me that's what she said. So disrespectful don't judge people on how they look.

My family and I were searching for a nice bicycle for family rides, however there was always a mishap in the path to actually purchasing one. I am beyond joyous that the Lord put Shawn/Sean, at our service! We found a great bike with twenty-one gear shifts, on a very nice deal! Curbside pickup was great, kind and very considerate person to delivery. I had left off a very important item to go with my new kayak, life jacket. Went right in pick it up and back out the door. COVID procedures in place to make everyone feel safe. Now if shoppers knew what six feet was🙃

I really love this store! This store has a large, beautiful selection of clothing, a great selection in footwear, all of the sports equipment you need here. I’d definitely recommend coming to this store. It is relatively quiet here, and kind staff, which makes for a quaint atmosphere. I will be coming back here a lot.

I came in to purchase football cleats for my son. I found out after I left the parking lot that I was in fact sold soccer cleats!! Very ignorant and uninformed staff! Just make sure you research everything for yourself.

In fishing department the man did not leave from behind counter to help me find anything, also restroom looked like it had not been cleaned this week. This was not the only time I had this experience at this store I'm the last 30 days the same man in the same department doing the same thing. Will be my last visit to this store.

Came in with multiple children in tow, cluelessly searching for baseball things for my son. I asked for help finding the few items I needed and the staff just looked at me like I was crazy and pointed me at different departments. They were friendly but completely unhelpful. The last gentleman I spoke to picked out the socks I needed which I greatly appreciated. To spend that kind of money I’d expect much better customer service, especially in a specialty store where most people have no idea what they are looking at.
