5 Stones’ second location at the entrance of Bellevue College. A bright, vibrant and modern coffee house serving classic and signature espresso drinks, pastries and toasts!
I had an iced Cafe Stefano, and it was the best iced coffee drink ever! Must try. Every day.
The toasts were delicious. My favorite was the turkey pesto toast (thick slices of tomatoes were so beautiful). The chunky slices of bread were the star of the show.
Kinda pricey but impeccable coffee and toast. The staff were so friendly too! Love this hidden find.

The location of this is fantastic for BCC students, they have outdoor seating and I think they share a common place with the nearby church.. so theres a movie theme set up. And restroom is easily accessible.
I want to give a shout out to Dia (?) She was very accomodating and allowed me to modify my normal latte to a hazel nut with orange thing zest. I was amuzed at after seeing how articulate the barista was making the cafe art so I thought of wanting to try it.
Ok in the end that coffee was a bit too sweet for my taste, so next time i will ask to reduce the syrup. On a nice fall weather i think this place is great.

Not what I expected. I wanted to have an upscale cup of coffee in a nice cafe, but little did I know that it's attached to a church. So, instead of a nice, relaxing coffee, I had to listen to people on loud speaker accompanied by loud music at the same time. I give the coffee 5 stars but the environment was not relaxing at all. I was very uncomfortable.

Excellent spot for reading, pondering, and studying. There is ample space next to coffee shop (church building) that’s open to public, with a few tall/sit-down tables and chairs, and sofa. The blue stools were so comfy unlike the usual metal ones at other places!

I didn’t make it into the shop. It was a Sunday and apparently the shop is inside a church. They had a sermon over loud speakers outside that can be heard from across the street. So if your into that scene, great, if not I’d pass. I did.

I waited over 20 minutes for a small, lukewarm cup of coffee that lacked a handle. The small biscuit was not impressive either. My bill was around $12. Not worth the money. The cafe was crowded, and the service was underwhelming. I will not be returning.

This spot is just right off I-90 entrance and has parking lot on the side. The interior sitting area is a bit strange as it seems to share a lobby area with a church or theatre. The coffee is a little on the brighter side, but still delicious. The batista always does a good job with steaming the milk. I do have to say that, depending on who you get at the register when you visit, sometimes you can feel like you're in the way or an inconvenience to that person.

Updated after two years - I’m so disappointed today. I got my oat latte and even tipped the cashier. However I got the latte back with no latte arts. The oat milk is definitely not properly textured and I can’t taste anything from the SOE. Although it could be difficult combination to have SOE with oat but I don’t think the barista is properly trained nor they take their job seriously. Their focus is on the chatting not on their customer for sure.
I left a 5 star review two years ago but it has to change to one today. I don’t know what happened to Bellevue coffee shops as it goes down drastically with price going up. I guess the money must be coming too easy🙊

Great coffee! It's our go to coffee shop close to home. Went in on Sunday morning and it was busy with church goers, so parking was tough. But the line went fast and I got my drink quickly, so no issues there. The staff are polite and friendly. They have unique seasonal offerings in addition to the standard cafe fare. Probably best for takeout since seating options are limited (unless you can sit in the church area? Unclear...)

Great little coffee shop on the east side. We ordered the cappuccino and an iced Americano and they were both pretty good. Lots of good parking in the area. We didn’t realize that it was attached to a church and so we showed up on a Sunday morning, we were greeted by the church parking lot people. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. We really love those Christian people!

Worst thing - they have a lot of space, and zero changing tables for babies. It's the first place in 5 months in the US where we didn't find a changing table. So please avoid if you walking with a baby in the vicinity. Btw, the toilet for people in wheelchairs was also "out of order".

Didn't realize this place was attached to a church, but didn't matter. They have a very small space in the actual coffee shop, but it opens to a much larger seating area within the church building (doesn't look or feel like you're in a church). I didn't have any food, buty friend did and it looked nice. I had a cortado, which was good.

5 Stones is one of my favorite coffee chains. They take their coffee very seriously. They even have a "head of coffee" executive responsible for all things coffee in their chain who sometimes shares his knowledge with customers. Their latte here and in any other shop in their chain is never disappointing. I also love their avocado toast and pastries. The staff is very good at building good relationships with regular customers. This particular shop has lots of seating options as well.

DONT COME HERE IF VEGAN, LACTOSE INTOLERANT OR DONT DRINK COW MILK.
Recently, twice, Ive order a milk alternative drink and twice Ive gotten cow milk.
Im lactose intolerant. I make this clear when ordering anywhere. I know when it’s cow milk. Plus theres an up-charge for oat milk. I want what I paid for.
The first time, I went back and asked to get my order corrected. They were so surprised and shocked that the order was made wrong, they had such disbelief they could have gotten it wrong that it made me feel silly for asking for the order to be corrected but once it was corrected, at first sip I knew it was oatmilk.
The second time, my husband and I went, I’ve been here a few times not often but talked up the staff, had friendly conversation, ordered two oat milk lattes, on our way out, one was clearly milk and one was clearly oat milk.
At this point, you guys are just playing with peoples health and wellbeing. I cannot trust to get a drink made correctly as requested. We got lucky his drink, not mine, had cow milk. And we didnt go back to correct it due to how big of a fuss it was that it was a shock the order was wrong in the first place.
Loved 5 stone, it was a treat for me, so special its where I ask people to meet up with me. Never again though, you could seriously harm someone by playing these games.

Just an Okay place, coffee is Okay, bakery is Okay, service is more like not Okay, lady at the register with the cap wasn’t very friendly, took my order as if she was doing a favor and not happy about it. even though there was a little line it took a while to get my coffee ready. When my friend wanted to make her order they just ignored her and kept doing something behind the counter for like 5-7mins, there were three of them. At least they could have said something like Thank you for waiting, we’ll be right with you, or smth like that. Only save was the Christmas decors, gave a little cozy atmosphere. Probably not going back.

The worst experience ever. Please find any other place to visit. The “manager” of this place Carson is disrespectful and has no idea what customer service is. I ordered the bun and was offered to heat it up and they gave me the absolutely cold bun just from the fridge. When I asked to warm it up he was rude and not willing to listen. I don’t even mention that the water I asked for wasn’t provided and that the person who takes the orders called Luke was disgustingly chewing the gum while trying to talk to me. When I asked if there is a complaint book I just received an audacious smile back. It's clear that the real management here needs a serious overhaul if they want to retain any customers. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere to have a coffee.

Five Stones would be my favorite coffee shop, but they consistently fail to deliver and meet expectations.
My boyfriend and I have been to this coffee shop 10 times. 8 out of those 10 times, the shop has had multiple things that are out of stock. It’s always good to exceed customer expectations, but when you say you offer x,y,z and consistently fail to deliver; customer expectations change from “great, going to get my favorite avocado toast and coffee at Five Stones” to “Oh I’m not sure if they’ll be in stock today”, they start to come less. The bare minimum is to meet customer expectations; and this place fails to so.
A little over a month ago, I emailed the owner to let them know my observations. Avocado is consistently out of stock, online ordering does not work, toaster outlet wasn’t working (???), and they stop serving toast an hour before they close (which I was informed was normal).
The owner was super nice and told me they were going through some management changes and these concerns would be brought up.
So I gave it a month to see if these small changes would be translated. I came in to this shop multiple times afterwards, some items, like lemonade (3 separate times missing) were out of stock, but I still wanted to give them a chance.
And after today, two weeks since the last time lemonade was out of stock, I came in… and I will not be coming back.
I tried to order lemonade, but you guessed it; they were out of stock and was informed “Yeah our lemon squeezer is broken”. My second drink of choice is a chai tea latte, but oh no, they were out of stock. Avocado toast? Out of stock. I was informed avocados get delivered Tuesday or Wednesday. I added a photo to show the sign of all of the missing items!
I didn’t myself a drink, but I got my partner their coffee. I also ordered a pesto toast, which at 8am, the employee asked the other employee “Are we doing toast right now?”. Which leads me to believe, that there’s no system or schedule and when there’s no system, there’s inconsistency.
Another time I tried to come in, an hour and a half before they closed, so I can get avocado toast, and their sign said “Short staffed, closing early”.
I am lucky that my office is down the road, but if you do want to order from here, be sure to call in and ask if they have the items you want. Save yourself a trip.
The food and drinks are great when I’m able to get them 20% of the time… but I cannot continue coming in when I am not served with what is supposedly offered.

Not too impressed I completely understand there was a wait it is essentially next to or in a church so Sunday was busy. However my surprise was they were out of chocolate syrup so no hot chocolate I( do not drink coffee)then I chose one of the other non coffee options a lemonade nope the third option was an Arnold palmer (but no lemonade)so when 2 out of 3 don't drink coffee nothing else to do but leave. The guy behind the coffee machine was grumpy and I was riding the high of meeting up with my dad the guy acted like he didn't care for the business . So maybe business was good who knows won't be going back. The poor lady on the register was really sweet and made sure to apologize for taking time to actually make food. Who does that she was really sweet though. Anyways just be prepared for a wait and a grumpy batista

An absolutely stellar gem of a cafe - I’m a little embarrassed by how often I go here for their avocado cream cheese toasts, which actually might be the best avo toast I’ve ever had. The toasts were more filling than I expected, and the avo cream cheese topping is creamy and fragrant. I also love their seasonal fruit & ricotta toasts, which have all been amazing and never too sweet.
All the drinks I’ve tried here are fantastic. Their Cafe Stefano (hot is best!) is my favorite; the orange spritz in it adds a dreamy and refreshing profile to the latte. The mocha bacio and cold brews were also great! They know what they’re doing. Plus, the latte art here is really good and always pleasant to look at.
I also love that try to cut waste by offering day-old pastries for half off! A great way to avoid wasting perfectly good treats - and they still taste good.
The location is the only slight drawback, but not by much and not enough to take down a star - the cafe itself is small but extends into the joint church which offers plenty of seating, but the ambiance is different from the cafe’s. I personally don’t mind, but there’s also outdoor seating available.

Tried this place by chance, so glad I did. I work at Starbucks so it takes a little more to really “wow” me. But after the first sip I was blown away. Their recipes are perfect. This was actually the first time I had strong espresso and not bitter espresso. It’s sweet with no aftertaste, and their milks are very good quality too. Pay attention to how the drinks come by default and let the baristas help you modify it. The barista was very kind and I will definitely bring friends here for a drink!
