We didn’t find much during our visit and were mostly just browsing. The aisles are small, and the store feels cramped, making it a bit difficult to navigate. Overall, it’s hard to say much since nothing really stood out to us.

**TL;DR Version:**

H Mart Bellevue may be smaller than other locations, but it still offers a solid selection of Asian goods, including a great variety of food, drinks, and a Korean bakery. Perfect for picking up sushi, Korean snacks, and other specialty items, it’s a reliable stop for those craving authentic Asian flavors.

**Full Version:**
H Mart Bellevue may be on the smaller side compared to some of the chain's larger locations, but it still packs a punch when it comes to offering a solid selection of Asian goods. This compact yet well-organized store is a fantastic option for anyone looking to scratch the itch for sushi, Korean dishes, or specialty ingredients you might not find in your typical grocery store.

The food and drink selection is diverse enough to meet a variety of needs. Whether you’re stocking up on pantry essentials like rice, noodles, and sauces, or browsing the fresh produce section for unique vegetables and fruits, H Mart doesn’t disappoint. The store is especially strong in its offering of Korean and Japanese products, making it a go-to for those craving authentic flavors from across East Asia.

One of the highlights is the in-house Korean bakery, which offers freshly baked goods that are always a treat. From sweet pastries to savory snacks, it’s the perfect stop for a quick indulgence after picking up your groceries. It’s not a massive bakery, but the quality is consistently good and adds a special touch to the shopping experience.

The location itself is convenient and accessible, and while the store isn’t as large as others, it’s thoughtfully laid out and well-stocked. The atmosphere is always clean, and there’s a sense of community, making it a pleasant place to shop.

While it might not have the extensive selection or larger-scale offerings of other, bigger H Mart locations, H Mart Bellevue still stands out as a solid destination for anyone looking to satisfy their cravings for Korean or Japanese foods, or simply looking for unique ingredients that are hard to find elsewhere. It earns a well-deserved 4 out of 5 stars for its variety, convenience, and reliable quality. If you’re in the Bellevue area and need to pick up a few essentials or indulge in some delicious Korean bakery treats, this H Mart is definitely worth the visit.

Like another shopper, I also had the experience of being told to bag my own groceries since I brought bags from home. My groceries were piled up faster than I could bag them, and an item was pushed off the end of the counter and onto the floor. I had to throw it all in the cart and go out to my car and try and hold the cart still while I bagged up my four bags of groceries. This isn’t a very “green” policy. If it’s to protect the workers, ok. If it’s to protect the bottom line, it should change.

I used to love H Mart especially their deli that often provides me many delicious comfort ready to eat Korean food. I gave this place 1 star to reflect my recent check-out at register experience. I don't know when this started, the cashier asked me if I brought my own bags? I said YES, then she said she'd leave my stuffs on the side. At the beginning, I did not understand what she meant, after I paid, I realized that she would not pack my grocery at all. I looked at my fellow shopping lady across me, she was packing her stuffs into her own brought bag too. So I started packing my quite large quantities of groceries, it obviously would take me a while to finish. The next customer had already approached and checked out before I finished. The whole situation made me feel completely rush and mistreated. So I kind of asked if she would pack my groceries if I did not bring my own bags. She said YES if I buy their store bags. I finally almost trained myself to bring my own bag, would it defeat the WA initiative to save the planet by reducing the bags? In this case, it is almost like H Mart only serves the people who buy their bags from the store or no service etc. Are you kidding? or for other reason, perhaps, the employees who are banned to touch shoppers' bags? I'm sad to see the bags have become a business transaction at H Mart.

One of my favorite Hmart locations I drive out for. It's clean, most of the items are constantly kept stocked and the service is extremely fast. It is a bit small and the parking lot is annoying, but coming early ensures you don't have to deal with this nonsense. The produce is always fresh and they have a better deli selection compared to the Redmond location.

The chicken karaage is always my favorite and they season it so well. The Udon is a good portion and the broth isn't too sweet. I would advise against the chicken and potato meals. They must use a different seasoning for the chicken batter as it's extremely salty.

My wife and son like persimmons and packaged chestnuts. I found them at the best prices at the HMart in Federal Way - $1.49/# for persimmons and $4.99 for two packages of chestnuts. Since Bellevue was closer that day, I went there instead to this smaller location.

However, this Bellevue location was a bit pricey- $1.99 & $5.49. I guess the rents and operating expenses are higher in Bellevue.

Given a choice, I will go to Federal Way in the future.

Great convenient location . Great store hours. Reasonable prices in this beautiful expensive city.
Very clean .Store has isles, and isles of fully loaded korean, and Asian food.

They have canned, dry packaged, refrigerated, and frozen food. They also have fresh food cooked food, and freshly prepared meals, fresh meat, fresh live seafood, fresh produce.

For their small size building, they know how to fill the store with so much good stuff, and good selections.

I don't mind the narrow isles. It means more shelves to add more selctions, and more items. But it is all organized.

Diffinetly this is a good place to get Asian groceries in this nice part of this nice expensive city.

We are very fortunate to have this store here in this location. So much convenience

Customer service is good.

There is also a cake making store inside

Big parking lot. Lots of free easy parking. But the parking spots are small, and tight. And the lot is sloping down , so it is hard to unload groceries while keeping the shopping cart still, not rolling towards other cars . Lots of new fancy expensive cars around .Always have to be careful when parking, and when opening car doors. Tight spaces to open car doors to load groceries. I hope they repaint the parking lot with bigger parking spaces.

HOT FOOD/DELI REVIEW:

In Seattle, federal way, lynnwood, etc, the kimbap they sell are 2 full rolls. There must be a hidden East side tax in the form of shrinkflation. For almost the same price, they give you a total of one full roll worth.
